"Hmm. You'll do. The Raal have attacked Neifar, and a nearby camp is ready for battle. As your first lieutenant, gather four more and suit up. We're going to lead an attack on the nearby Raal base."

Frederick Soap was with the few Marines he called friends, playing cards. All five of them had a cigarette in their mouth, and each were laughing and smiling. Lancer, one of his buddies, was recounting a childhood story involving theft, drugs, and the police. All in all, a bad mix. "... then the ******** came up behind me and WHAM! Dude ********' threw me 'gainst the wall, and had his ********' pathetic excuse of a pea-shooter against my temple. Then the c**k-sucker said something ********' cliche, like 'Say hello to my little friend' or some s**t, and that's when I pulled some of that martial arts s**t and snapped his ********' arm in three! I got outta there and made it home free... true story." Everybody began the usual nodding their heads and rolling their eyes. They all knew that Lancer was one of the liars, so they took his stories with more than a grain of salt. Frederick looked at his hand and wanted to groan. Worst hand ever. He folded, and leaned back in his chair.

Taya flicked on her communicator to send the signal directly into the ears of any that bore their connectors. She shrieked, "MAN THE ******** GUNS! THE RAAL ARE ATTACKING! AND SOMEONE GET INTO THIS COCKPIT AND HELP ME OUT HERE! THIS IS YOUR ADMIRAL SPEAKING!" The speaker died then, and she was left to pull her sub-machine gun and face the few hundred Raal that hadn't been shaken off by the swirling ship. She loaded it as the cockpit glass smashed and the bug-birds fell through and into her room. Then the room filled with bloodcurdling screams as her bullets met their exoskeletons. Sadly, their armor was far too weak to stop her state-of-the-art gun.
Her communicator came back online, and she spoke into it once again, this time to some of the more advanced, such as Dentrag, Frederick, and Dimitri. "Alright, all of you! Get in here! I can't fight these guys alone!" The communicator switched to everyone who wasn't of a high power. "All of you! Man the guns and find out where the Raal ship is! Blast it out of space! Over!" Then her attention turned to the man eating creatures who craved for the living. "s**t. AND my ********' communicator's down. This is absolutely ******** perfect. Alright, you ********' jackasses. You'll soon dread the day you crossed with Taya L. Abhor." Comin' to save ********' day, yea!

A hulking figure suddenly appeared beside the enraged woman. His dark armor took up a large amount of space and was covered with various markings and scars from past battles, including a type of logo that was in the shape of a burning fist. The assault rifle in his hands was simply massive, though appeared to weigh virtually nothing to the soldier. The weapon was aimed towards the creatures, ready to be fired at the very instant the soldier received the order. Until the soldier spoke, only the eerie weezing of the vocal unit in the helmet broke his silence. The voice that was finally emitted from the soldier was that of a low growl, like that of a beast.
"Bradshaw... reporting..."
A series of clicks came from his visor, as it took on a setting best suited for combat. The assault rifle shifted slowly in his hands as he lined it up for a more effective massive kill tactic.

Frederick was still leaning back in his chair when he heard the Admiral's voice. He fell backwards, and let loose a long string of choice curses. As he finished, his buddies applauded him on his performance. Frederick gave them all the bird and set his chair up. He heard the Admiral's message, then overheard Lance's communicator. "Well, Lance, have fun mannin' the guns, you lyin' sonuvabitch." Lance glared and mumbled as Frederick suited up, eager for some action. He got in his suit with the symbol of anarchy. As was his custom, Frederick kissed his palm and rested it on the symbol for a moment, before finally hopping in. He moved as fast as he could, hauling his weaponry, to the designated point. Frederick entered the cockpit, seeing the Admiral and Bradshaw. Frederick blasted one of the Raal to little more than debris with his sawed-off shotgun. Thankfully, the suit caught most of the recoil as he pulled both triggers. "Soap, reporting!" Frederick got another Raal, this one with his assault rifle. He added the obligatory 'Oorah!' as the Raal ceased moving.

A smaller, thinner figure stepped out from behind bradshaw. It was blue-plated, and held no weapon, merely carrying a backpack of two gas tanks. "Still getting in trouble i see? I thought the admiral would know better than that. Time to turn up the heat?" Dentrag flicked his two hands so both fists were pointing towards the Raal. Suddenly, an explosion of napalm rocketed from the two disguised tubes, Setting the closest Raal alight in a terrible orange fire.

Little girls often dream But some dreams are not made of candy and are not for little girls
"Guthulurak? Do me a favor and SHUT THE ******** UP. OK, Bradshaw, use that assault rifle on the ones farthest from the door. Soap, get anyone in the middle. I'm going to defend the door." With that, Taya shot a clump of Raal that were getting too close and let the rebound fling her to the door. She began to type in the code to lock it completely. Anyone else on this plane knew there were a couple one-way entrances, so locking the door just affirmed that the Raal were trapped in the cockpit. "Oh, Guthulurak? Finish off anyone on fire, since you were the one to start that fight." Taya clicked a lever on her gun to change it to 'discipline' mode, as she called it. She shot a bullet into the air, and it came down near the front, killing several and warning the rest to stay back. She jacked the lever again to re-load, and shot again. This shot was meant to actually kill many, and it did. With the perfect accuracy that had earned her the title 'Admiral', she managed to get something like 20 in one shot. the bullets were large, and could hit about 3 at once. The shockwave was what killed them mainly.
"Get your asses moving! I'm going to send the distress flare for the other ship. In the meanwhile, I don't want these things on my ********' back!" Taya turned around to the shut door. She sent out a code on a small keyboard, kind of like an S.O.S. 505, 505, 505.
In my dreams I am drawn to see things that exist only in the shadows of my mind Feel things that should not be felt.

Bradshaw had been given his order. He glared from behind his helmet, the visor locking onto several targets and determining their range. He set his assault rifle to what liked to call 'sword' mode. Judging from the Admiral's outburst to Ghulurak's comment, he thought it best to remain silent, except for his vocal unit that caught his breath.
He finally pulled the trigger after lining his shot, a massive beam exploding from the barrel of the enormous rifle. It struck the first Raal in the head, piercing straight through like a hot knife through butter. He then paced himself as he moved the rifle about, the constant streaming laser holding its set distance as it sliced through the Raal he had been ordered to kill. The process was simple and efficient. Once his group of Raal had been slain, he let go of the trigger, and made his way back to the Admiral. She didn't want those things on her ******** back and he was going to make sure they did not get there.

Ghulurak laughed. "They die in... 6 seconds." The Raal that were alight burned to cinders. Another burst of fire, longer, hotter, set around thirty alight in a blaze of fiery death. Then another burst, and a continuous stream of flame and acid spitting, wheeling. "Burn." Suddenly, the orange flame switched to blue, and the napalm started exploding on target. "Running out of gas here. Someone hand me a rifle!"

Frederick had shot one more Raal with his sawed-off when he switched to his rifle. He then began doing the shooting he was known for: he shot in quick, short, accurate bursts of fire, turning any targeted Raal into swiss cheese. Frederick had heard Ghulurak's comment, and pulled back out his sawed off and tossed it to him. "Sorry, usin' it." Frederick held his position, wiping out his designated targets.

Dentrag grabbed the sawed off, and in the same movement fired it. After three or more shots, a clicking sound started replacing blasts. Dentrag dropped the sawed off and drew out the machete he carried. As he sliced the wings off of a Raal, while slicing the legs of another he said, "How much longer do you think we can hold 'em?"

"As long as we have ammo." Taya pulled out her sword and started slicing off the legs. She would step on their heads and crushed them, swinging for others. Her swordsmanship was practiced, expertise. It looked like she did something like this every day.
The only problem now was that it was obvious to the Raal that she and Dentrag were more important than the other soldiers. While a soldier's armor was gray, Dentrag's was blue, and Taya's was gold. Didn't matter, though. Even with several Raal after her, she could take them. She was an admiral, after all.
