Dewpaw blinked at Blaze, not quite sure what he was talking about. He couldn't have stopped her. She looked at him for a second, confused, *Sorry for what? i was going to leave no matter what...* her confusion was evident in her send to balze, private as she didn't want to ruin the mood fo teh reunion. She smiled at llune, "Food! I'm starved. Morningtail ate most of the ravvit."

Blaze hadn't expected her to forget his harsh-send so easily, but he wan't going to bring it up again. **It seems like the matter is resolved then. Just tell me before you go wandering off again. It would save us all a lot of grief.** So saying he turned hastily to go find something to occupy himself with.

Dewpaw watched Blaze leave. She tilted her head to teh side and blinked, thinking. "Gee, I guess I'll post it in teh Main Hut next time I leave. Everyone seems so mad I didn't tell tham personally. I told Llune and I did and open send. I just had to go. Not like they tell me when they're leaving. No respect for the little one... no respect." she walked over the pool, sitting at teh edge and letting ehr feet soak in teh cool water as she muttered to herself, breiifly forgetting her hunger.

And too bad for Dew if she'd forgotten her appetite! Llune is just now emerging from the hut, a sizable tray of tasty snacks in her hands.
There is a selection of dried fruits, some berries, seeds (both roasted and un-roasted), dried and fresh meats, both cooked and raw, varying from small fowl to ravvit to fish - air, land and sea, all the food groups! In addition to little finger-sized portions there is a stack of crab shells to serve as plates.
"So... Who said they were starving?" Llune asks amicably, essentially unaware of DewPaw's grumbling, "There's all sorts of different things, come have some!" she say encouragingly.

It made Dancer frown a bit to see DewPaw unhappy so soon after her return. Her eyes moving to the last one to speak to her. What a shock to see it was Blaze. *You upset her you oaf. Your skill with a kit is as good as your skill with calm.* Her tone wasn't angry just annoyed but she moved to the food. Picking up a few things she went and say by Dew PAw. "Here eat. Don't let that hot head upset you even a little." Her smile warm and cheerful.

Blaze cringed at Dancer's send, but it only motivated him to get out of there all the faster. She was right, he ought to just leave the cub alone. And to have realized that sent another little itch skittering acrost the back of his mind.

Peyote emerged from the hut with Llune, carrying enough coconut halves that had been cleaned to use as bowls for everyone. She served them about with skill and ease, smiling at each in turn.

As Peyote reached Dancer she took the offered shell bowl with a warm smile. "Peyote, you are a flower of celabration you will dance tomorrow as well no?"

Dewpaw grinned when the food came out, accepting the bit that Dancer offered. She quickly scarfed it down and jumped up to grab more. She reached for a few berries and took some raw meat before sitting back down by Dancer, splashing the water with her feet as she ate. She leaned back as she chewed on a piece of raw meat. "I'm not upset," she said after swalloing, "I just don't like being the only cub to worry about. I'm a wolfrider. I can take care of myself." She pushed out her chest and sat up straight, trying to look as proud as she could, but really only looking comical. She took a cocunt shell from Peyote with a nod before turnignt o listen to them talk about the celebration.
((I had to do the cub thing. It reminds me so much of Jethel, my favorite elf.))

Llune takes advantage of the meal, and the break. She's in the midst of quite a project, and the chance to sit down and eat is a welcomed.
Llune munches on her berries and dried fruit, and listens to the others talk, at least for the time being.

Dancer smiled warmly at DewPaw. She was so full of spirit and fire. Lifting a hand she mussed Dew's hir a bit. "That's right little wolf. Go bite some ankles and show the world you are not afraid. Show it your teeth and run with the wind." Her smile faded just slightly then she turned to look at the water.

"You got that right," Dewpaw whooped. She jumped up, baring her teeth and growling and biting at the air. "A wolf can fihgt in a pack or alone!" She was about the jump on Dancer when she saw Dancer looking at the water, her smile not as wide as it was. *Did I say something? Or are you remembering like Savith always is?* she locksent, concern evident but not able to completley hide her cub-ish joy.

Turning her face back to Dew she smiled and laughed lightly. "No no I'm fine. I think I'm just a little tired is all." It was easier to keep her emotions out of her words when speaking. "How could I be sad today? You are here safe and sound and our little tribe grows strong and happy."
