1. How much time are you able to spend on a daily basis updating the Sanctuary?I'm unemployed,so anytime of day is easy for me. Throughout the day I can frequently check for new posts and adults to remove.
2. Is there anything that will lower your time mentioned in #1 (such as school starting again for example) and how much will it lower the time you can spend updating the Sanctuary?Nope. I'm a huge loser. I don't do school and I'm having a hard time finding work. 3. Do you have any previous experience as a mod or an admin? If so, briefly describe the places, such as if you had any specific job there, how many members there were, etc.I've modded a guild in Everquest as well as a guild in WoW, nothing that ever reached endgame status. I mod a livejournal community and I'm familiar with coding and code management. The livejournal community has 237 members. 4. Are you currently a mod or an admin at another site?Only the livejournal community. 5. Why do you want to be a mod?I think I've got more time on my hands than those currently running the sanctuary and I feel I can keep it running smoothly and get a load off the current mod's shoulders.

1. How much time are you able to spend on a daily basis updating the Sanctuary?At the present time, I am able to spend about 2 hours every day (the exact time varies) updating the Sanctuary. When school begins at the end of August, my schedule will fluctuate for about 2 weeks until I can get my time slots settled, after which I estimate about 10 weeks per week with more hours spent on the forums during the weekends.2. Is there anything that will lower your time mentioned in #1 (such as school starting again for example) and how much will it lower the time you can spend updating the Sanctuary?As mentioned in answer to question 1, my school schedule will lower my hours slightly. Particularly during the first 2 weeks after school begins - I may cut hours down to 7 hours per week (with about 30 minutes to 1 hour per weeknight). After adjusting to my school schedule, I will probably be available for 10 hours per week unless exams require me to cut hours.3. Do you have any previous experience as a mod or an admin? So I will simply give a little bit of background and general information. I am a new member to the Dragon Cave community, but I have been lingering around Gaia for many years (around 3, to be exact) on various accounts. My involvement with adoptables has only recently begun (just this month, in fact), but I have found it every bit as addictive as MMORPG and forums. My hours of the day will most likely be around late night Central Time, due to my schedule as a student, with snatched hours during the day.

The numbers above are just an average. 2. I will be going back to school this spring, but i seriously doubt it will effect my ability to be on the computer 3. Do you have any previous experience as a mod or an admin? If so, briefly describe the places, such as if you had any specific job there, how many members there were, etc. I haven't been a mod for anything big, my list consists of being a forum mod for a guild i was in when i played star wars galaxies which consisted of maybe 10-20 members, and i run my own ventrilo server which is just for myself and a few friends to use. 4. Are you currently a mod or an admin at another site? other than my ventrilo server, i'm not an active mod of anything. 5. That might be less time during the weekend but still a decent amount of time over the day. I could usually check/update it every hour or two hours if i'm home. 2. When i was admin i basically had the job of keeping the whole site updated and looked after. I made sure everyone was following the rules and i tried and keep the place new and interesting. On some other forums i was a part of when i was a mod i sometimes was a global mod incharge of keeping the site in check or a mod of specific area. like the anime part of the forum and such. 4. I had a forum i shut down recently due to a lot of the people being more busy and not getting on and the fact that i didn't feel like upkeeping it anymore. The same thing happened to a lot of the sites i was a mod on. 5. Why do you want to be a mod?i want to be a mod because i would love to help out this guild. I have finals coming up but I'll be free for 2 weeks and then I'll be starting classes again, but I'll be able to get on and do updating. ^_^ I managed to do that before on a super crazy thread before. -points to question 7- It's actually easier here really. >< Everything is already in code.3. I've dealt with a couple of spammers on the forums but that's the extent. I've been appointed admin on Pokemon Cottage. Now shut down by my head admin. It only had 41 members

Was forum mod then promoted to super mod on Pokemon Gateway now changed to Anime Gateway. This one has 384 registered members. It's the most active one I am mod at really.4. I don't know where this might fit, but I used to co-run a big thread like the egg sanctuary here with constant updating. It was the Pokeplushie's official trading thread with a giveaway center. I was updating 2 big threads with people's adoptables that they wanted to give away to other users for free in the giveaway center everyday. Or they wanted a trade section in the other thread. Constant updating. So yeah, I have experience in updating threads like the egg sanctuary. Looking at the santuary, it's actually easier here. >< I had to quote people's posts to get the codes for the adoptables they wanted to put up. I'm sorry I don't have a link for proof as the trading center and the giveaway center I was constantly keeping updated was shut down and deleted as they made a better trading system and trashed in-forums trading.

Generally, I at least get online for an hour or two each night in those situations. Otherwise, I will be on much more. 2. I work about 30 hours a week and that's it. 3. Do you have any previous experience as a mod or an admin? If so, briefly describe the places, such as if you had any specific job there, how many members there were, etc. I was a co-founder of a Harry Potter role playing forum a few years ago and I recently ran the Midnight Court directory for Yaoi/Yuri role players while I was still at Neopets. 4. I typically get on at times when the sanctuary needs to be updated and would love to manage that the same way I manage my walkers. Also, I think a little help in enforcing the rules might be nice. Alright, for those who see this, we're in the final steps to selecting mods. Hopefully, we'll be adding the new mods into the team by the end of the week, at the latest.
When this is done though, we might still keep the thread up, to see how many other people might still be interested in being mods. There are very many people in this guild who I think would make good mods, and who haven't applied here, too.
I'll be glad to see some of you on the team. smile

nope. If anything, I gave you a lowball figure. I'm a working adult, and play online in my evenings when I'm home. As well as during the day if I have the time to spare. So far, my company has not blocked the dragcave site.

I've been an admin at a couple private message boards in the past. Duties included approving new members, moving/closing topics, etc.

5. Why do you want to be a mod?to help update the egg sanctuary. that's really all I want to do - not interested in the rest of the mod stuff. You guys are overloaded with eggs, and that will only increase, not decrease in the future

Well. Here goes ->>> 1. About 1-2 hours. I actually did run a dragon clicking list but I shut it down due to Dragon Cave closing my thread saying it was spam. crying 2. School is going to start for me again. So yeah I will probably be shortened to 30-60 minutes. Probably once at 4 and again at like 8. 3. I am a developer for a MMORPG (I'm the programmer) at alsi club. Most of the forum is private so you can't really see what I've done. I've worked with a few indie projects. They all failed because of the owner's. crying 4. Alsi Club which is listed above ^. 5. I want to be a mod because I think I can help people. Actually no, I know I can help people. I'm also good at making decent guides. Yeah that's it really. I'm in the 9th grade if that does anything for me lol. I haven't really been on these forums for a long time. I've been on dragon cave for about a month.

1. I spend a lot to a little time on Gaia depending on whats happening that day. On average, I would say I spend about 3 hours (solid time) on a day, but I can spend a lot more than that if needed 2. I will be entering school once more on the 20th and it will cut down my time by at least an hour if not two 3. I dont really have any experience as a mod, but Im willing to try 4. No 5. Specifically I want to be on a mod on here because I want to make it easier for nice people who help others to get help themselves 6. Well I'm taking a break from college, and I got laid off from my job. So No I don't think there would be anything getting in my way.

I owned a few of my own guilds, and I worked as Admin in a few of my friends guilds.
Shounen Ai and Yaoi Guild was one of them.
It had a few thousand members, and was a really fun placed.
I did the normal by keeping everything in check and so on.

Nope.
5. Why do you want to be a mod?
I want to see the guild more active, and revamped. There are too many users and not enough people to help them.
