Yuri blushed as she let herself be kissed, a simple yet significant gesture. It was her first kiss, and she was glad to give it to Latte. She looked back at him, and smiled with her blush fading in with her fur's color. "Same here." she agreed.

Latte reddened, aware of what he just did. "Sorry," he mumbled, looking down at the ground. "Well, let's go then," he said, looking at the darkening sky. "I don't want to be out in the open at night."
He carefully rolled out from under Yuri and headed towards the setting sun.

Yuri smiled softly. "Don't be," she said quietly to Latte before looking up at the quickly darkening sky. She let him roll out from under her, and looked back for a second to where her family was. She sighed before turning to follow after Latte.

Latte blushed a little at Yuri's words, but continued walking at a moderate pace. "Looks like we'll have to stop for now," he said as they reached a large tree. "I don't want you to be hurt while walking around in the dark."
He found a opening on the tree, and found it was hollow. Sniffing, he walked in, unable to sense any danger. "This is a good place to sleep."

Yuri looked at the hallowed log with a confused look on her face. Why was he talking of sleep already? She had just woken up, and the sun was just starting to set. It was much too early to be going to sleep already.

Latte turned to see her confused look, and tried to understand. "Puu?" was all that came out as his mind tried to process this. Sighing, he sat down. "Well, I'm going to take a short break right now."

Yuri nodded and sat down next to Latte. She sat her head on his shoulder and sighed as well. She wondered if they were to leave where would they go, and if they ever had kits would they allow the kits to meet her and his parents. She'd think it cruel if not.

Sensing that something was troubling Yuri, Latte pulled her into a warm hug, hoping to make her feel better. "We'll go to a place not so far away, but hidden so they won't find us." By they he meant their parents. Almost unknowing that Yuri was thinking the same thing, he continued. "And we'll show them our kits if we have any," he added shyly.

Yuri smiled as Latte hugged her, she felt so warm in his arms. "That sounds great..." she said softly and she closed her eyes, rubbing her face in his fur.

Latte held her, hoping that this wonderful feeling would never stop. He supressed a giggle as she rubbed against him, and whispered in her ear. "I'm glad you approve."

Yuri lifted up her head and looked at him. "Why wouldn't I have approved? It's exactly what I had been thinking." She looked out to where the sun had completely set and the moon was rising. "Where will we go?"

Latte looked at the bright full moon hanging over their heads. "We'll stay here for now, and we'll move out tomorrow." He nuzzled her gently, yawning. "I'll think about it in the morning."

Yuri nodded and looked out to the stars and the moon, brightly illuminating the ground. "I'll keep watch for tonight, i have not been awake since last night, and have nearly just reawaken. I'll tell you if anyone who might cause us trouble come, ok?"

Yuri smiled softly at Latte as she watched him drift to sleep before turning her view to the open land. It was all so calm, so familiar, yet so strange. She sighed and she remembered her training, and everything that could be remembered from her life. It always seemed to have him in it, and she hoped it always would.
