My wardrobe's improved considerably, and alas I have nowhere to show it off.
In my experience, the weather in Cali is a damn site nicer than Bristol, so at least enjoy the sunshine!

I hate sunshine. D:< If I must have sunshine, I'd rather it be the hot unforgiving sun of the Saharan desert or of Egypt, or the Gobi, or the Middle East, than the stupid mild cheery sun of California! D:<

I actually don't know how to reply to that. But again, we should all plan another meet. Does anyone have pictures from the last time?

If you're planning to meet up, let me know when, via pm or whatnot. I'm a bit crap at keeping up with the guild, especially now that uni's back in session. But I'd love to join you for some 19th century-type jollity.

I'd love to undertake a meet of sorts; but I frankly don't know when or where. Any suggestions?
If people just want to meet just for the sake of it; there's a rather nice Arboretum where I live (Lincoln, East Midlands).

I say, Capital Idea!
As long as travel is within my modest means, airship running cost being somewhat of a drain on the finances, I would certainly attend. I'm located in the South West (Weston-super-Mare) and Bristol is a good place for a Steampunk day out. Theres the SS Great Britain, the Industrial Museum, and concave mirror type observitorty near the suspention bridge and those arriving by train can see Temple Meads station, build by Isambard Kingdom Brunel.

Oh Dear Mr. Isinglass, I think we're going to be great friends! That's one of the reasons I started studying archaeology there... of course, if Bristol's inconvient for everyone else, what say you all of London? The expo's still got me terribly excited about meeting.

I do hope so! Its nice to know that I'm not alone in this little corner of the country. smile I too must confess my excitement, it would be ever so pleasant to spend a day with other like minded individuals, maybe if we were in London we could find some old fashioned tea rooms? As for when, the big question is before or after Christmas? I do suppose that money will be tight either way but it would be a terrible shame to have to wait until March-ish time.

I must advocate prior, as after Christmas I have a placement and dissertation to do- I have a favorite place for tea in Bristol and I hear there's plenty of very old fashioned ones in London.
