I just drink more natural juices. Even if it is more sugar than soda..it's generaly not the same sugars that natural juices. I know when I drink soda I crash immediately. Drinking juices however wake me up and don't have that crash afterwards. I drink apple juice or orange juice before school and it really helps me out.
I have low blood pressure so more sugar isn't gonna kill me.
wink Also, I can't drink soda that much because it makes my heart race and my lungs have to overwork to calm it down. (not good for an asthmatic)

Although I'm all for eating the whole fruits too. ~Especially berries...mmmm.
