Tinkerbelle smiled at him and nodded avidly. Her wings picked up again as she grabbed his hand and dragged him along. She loved adventures, though she didn't always take the lead. In fact she often perfered a second hand postion.

"Where do you want to explore?" she asked, wondering if she should walk with him so they would be at the same speed, instead of her pulling him along.

Peter just nodded numbly at her change. It was kind of werid to hear the change happen so quickly but he really wasn't sure what to say. He wasn't that big on giving Tinkerbelle attention, at least not a lot. He had things to do. He dind't get why the kid couldn't handle it on her own.

It only took that invitation for Erik to take over again. "Let's find the stage," he suggested excitedly. "We could go on the catwalk or underneath the stage. I bet they've got a trap door."

He pulled ahead as they dashed about and began peeking in doors, holding her hand still, but not tightly anymore. It didn't take long before they located the stage. The book, of course, was still there.

Erik went for the curtains and wrapped himself up in them, only to flail out of them after remaining still for a few seconds, as though appearing in a scene mysteriously. "Boo!" He broke out into laughter, sounding a little creepy, though he didn't mean to.

"I don't want to leave Erik alone for too terribly long," Japi said, as though realizing it at that moment. "He can get a little... violent sometimes. Not that Tinkerbell's in any trouble at all," she was sure to reassure Peter of that, even though she wasn't entirely sure of it herself.

Tinkerbelle giggled and followed him easily, keeping to the air because she liked flying a lot. When they got to the stage she noticed the book but felt a little uneasey. She knew she came from the book and wasn't too sure that she wanted to risk going back in. Life was a lot more fun out here.

She landed in the middle of the stage though as Erik dashed around in the back. She stood there, where the spotlight would be if it was on and looked over the empty stage. How cool! She loved being on the stage. She pretended it was full and spun around in dance once before she jumped at Erik's boo.

She stared at him as he laughed a bit, watching him carefully and then grinned.

"Erik! Let's play a game! Like a play. It will be fun. You can kidnap me!" Of course being kidnaped was better when there was someone to rescue you but they only had each other.

Peter blinked at the possiblity and his heart did increase in fear then he thought about it. Tinkerbelle was strong, she didn't handle those kind of things, then again, Erik was a boy.

"If he has violent tendices you should probably teach him more chivilous rules." Peter said slowly, not trying to insult but actually help. He wasn't much of a parent, but he was still a man. He could handle boy stuff, he was one after all. "Eventually with boys he'll learn to control his temper or risk getting his butt kicked but with girls...if you just teach it's wrong to always hit girls I'm sure it will be less of a hassel."

((Switchin' it up on ya. whee ))

"I'm working on it," Japi admitted. "And most of the time he's just fine. He hasn't hurt either of his sisters yet. So far it's just the cat." She laughed nervously. "But no serious damage." She wasn't in much of a hurry, since it was unlikely that Erik would be angered easily today. He had been in such a good mood this morning. Japi smiled as the two parents made their way through the theater. "I bet they're on the stage," she chuckled to herself.

Erik grinned at Tinkerbelle's suggestion and dashed toward her, moving to grab her by the waist.

Tinkerbelle let out a terrfied scream that was only belittled by the big grin on her face at being 'kidnapped'. She loved pretend games, she loved them more on a stage because then it felt like a play. She loved stages and performances and anything like that.

Peter jerked when he heard the scream though. His eyes went wide as suddenly he dashed forward, afraid of what he might find. Was Tinkerbelle hurt? Did she fall down? If she did why didn't she just fly away? Were her wings broken?

"Tinkerbelle!" he yelled as he burst into the stage area.

Japi too rushed in and beheld the scene of the kids on the stage. Erik had Tinkerbell by the waist and was laughing with his evil sounding laugh.

"Erik!" Japi shouted.

Erik turned to see his mother and the man from before, he guessed he must have been Tinkerbell's father, rushing in. He realized in a second what his mother must have though as his mind shot back to when he had attacked the cat. He quickly backed off, letting Tinkerbell go quickly. "I--," he couldn't even find the words to defend himself.

Peter rushed forward as Erik started to get off Tinkerbelle but she poped up almost instantly. She wasn't hurt, she was a willing particpate in all this and she didn't like her game to be interupted.

"Pet-er" she whined, "We were play-ing!" She pouted and crossed her arms definately.

Peter came to a stop and stared, it was...a game...just a game? Oh...okay...then why was he still so freaked? Nothing was wrong? What was the big deal anyway? If she got hurt she'd just heal...but....

"Well play a safer game!" he said gruffly, pride and manhood on the line now. "He shouldn't be on you like that. IT's wrong, play something...better."

Erik decided he didn't like this Peter. He had no reason to just give up and lose to him. Instead, he decided to continue their game, and make Peter play. "But you have to come save her, cause I'm kidnapping her," he explained. He decided he wouldn't grab Tinkerbell like before, and instead took her hand and led her across the stage. "You have to come fight me," he grinned, pointing at his chest as a challenge and whipping his cape around menacingly.

Japi sat back and watched. She would step in if Peter refused to play along, but she really didn't see any harm in the game. Instead she began fishing in her sleeve for something. She knew they were in there, somewhere. Not that she'd used them for a really long time, but there wasn't really a reason to take them out, since there was practically endless room in her sleeves any--"There they are!" She pulled out two thin plastic swords and hid them from sight.

((Don't ask. gonk Japi has some of the most random crap in her sleeves of holding. xd But pratical stuff... rolleyes You'd be lucky.))

Peter looked confused for a moment as Erik tugged Tinkerbelle across the stage. He frowned deeply, not exactly sure what he wanted to do. He didn't want to play some silly game, that's what the other kids were for, to keep Tinkerbelle distracted. But at the same time he wasn't sure if he liked Erik that much ether.

"You guys play by yourselves." he finally muttered, steping back and turning away. He frowned a bit at Japi who seemed to be hiding something behind her back. Unless that's just how she stood sometimes. Women did weird things.

Tinkerbelle was overjoyed when Erik pulled Peter into the game but her face fell when Peter refused to save her. She frowned deeply and folded her arms again.

"Fine! I don't want to be rescused. Come on Erik." she bid as she turned to disapear back stage, away from the stupid adults.

Japi sighed and sheepishly put the plastic swords back in her sleeve. "You sure you don't want to play with them?" she prodded. "It's good for you to play sometimes, and not just for her, but for you too. Keeps you young." That, Japi certainly new from experience. She honestly couldn't remember how old she technically was, but knew it was probably centuries. "Children are so amazing, living in the moment," she sighed, finding herself musing again.

"Well he's no fun," Erik snorted, partially in triumph. This proved, at least to him, that he was better than Peter to begin with.

"Maybe we could change the story then," he suggested finally. "Maybe we could run away together. Make them have to find us." This he said in a whisper, making sure, by watching over his shoulder, that his mother and Peter didn't hear him. He adjusted his mask again as he turned back to face Tinkerbell.

Peter shook his head firmly, as he glanced back. He was all grumpy now since they not only managed to trick him but scared the s**t out of him too. He didn't want to play a part in anymore of those games. He should have known that Tinkerbelle would be alright. She was a tough cookie, not someone to start crying over nothing.

"No, I think kids should play with kids." he muttered as he glanced back at Erik. He wasn't too sure about the kid but in the end it was up to Tinkerbelle what kind of friends she wanted. He didn't really care as long as they didn't get into trouble to much.

Tinkerbelle smiled brightly at Erik, completely agreeing with him. He was better than Peter and Peter was no fun. She also enjoyed the rewrite, now that he didn't seem so evil. She took his hand and nodded quietly so they could sneak off. She tugged him back stage and then looked up to the rafters. No one would find them up there.

Erik nodded grinning. "You fly up there, and I'll climb." He looked over to the ladder to get to the lights up on the catwalk. That should be sufficient to get there.

Japi was a little sad at Peter's reaction, but she realized that most adults were like that.

Tinker bell grabbed on to him to stop him from climbing, that was dangerous, much dangerous than the other option for him.

"I can help you fly." she said with a smile as she got up and flew over him, dusting him with the dust as she smiled down at him. "Now think happy thoughts and you'll fly." she promised, buzzing around above him.

"H-happy.. thoughts?" Erik thought for a moment. He couldn't really think of anything 'happy'. Images went through his head of terrorizing his sisters, of proving to Peter that he was better. And that didn't really work. He looked at Tinkerbell a little sheepishly.

Then his mind went to her and their new friendship and his feet lifted off the ground slightly. Startled, he looked down at his feet, then back up at her. "It worked," he was slightly astonished.

"Of course it worked." Tinkerbelle gave a giggle and since she wasn't quite steady with his flight yet she took his hand. She couldn't carry him or anything but fairy dust helped keep people lighter when they faulted in flight. "Anyone can fly who really wants too." she said loftily.

She lead him up, enjoying the flight before the landed on the catwalk. He probably could have climbed up, if he really wanted too but Tinkerbelle felt better about this. Flying was so much easier than climbing, she didn't get why people insisted to chose the later.
