Still staring at his feet, not notcing any of her observation, he glanced to her, every now and then, though seemed to avoid her eyes. "Pups? Did they have a litter too? Lera and Haku just had a litter..." He gave a small shudder. One little girl had taken a liking to him and one little boy had tried to get Kam to feed him .__. "Are you.. uh.. having fun taking care of them, then? Or helping anyways..."

Monenoke looked at him and smiled, "Yes they did," she said softly, "It's fun..." She finished. She stepped away slightly before shaking herself off. "Once the pups grow Akui said I can go find a new territory for the pack. I can't wait," She said with excitement hinting her voice as she spoke. She then walked back up to him, she blinked once or twice; hoping, praying that it wasn't a dream in which her mind played upon her.

"Where do you think your new territory will be?" He sounded interested in this, hoping ithey will not find land too far off.. It would be nice to visit Monenoke more often..
As a friend. He reminded himself, trying to push things Haku had hinted at, and stated bluntly, about him venturing, and hoping to see this she-wolf. He swallowed slightly, ear flicking, glancing at his paws again.
It would not matter any ways, we both have to stay where we belong.. He did not voice any of his thoughts out loud, he definetly did not.

Noke paused for a moment to think, "Well, I'm thinking first investigating north this river, but I have to ask Akui what he thinks first." She said, " "You live East of here, right?" She said in a soft tone. She looked up at him and the one question crossed her mind, Does he feel the same way as I do? Or am I chasing after a false hope? She questioned herself, it saddened her the thought of 'false hope.'

He thinks a moment, then nods. "Yes, in the east across a large river then a small one.. I hope you will be near by. It will be easier to visit.. don't you agree?" He shifted, head turning, obviously 'so' interested in a patch of grass trying to stick up in the snow.
His tail flicked and paws shifted, it was obvious he was feeling nervous. Though one could mistake it for his shyness, simular in ways.

She nodded, "I hope so too..." She said giving him a smile, Well, she thought, at least he thinks of you as a friend. The thought did little to help her. She smiled and watched him a bit, he was acting shy just like normal.

He shifted, falling into the odd silence, wondering what she might like to talk about. "uh.." He frowned, wondering why his brain was not working right. It was like a lump of mush for all of it's uselessness.
He glanced around again, then back to her. "So.."

She listened to the awkward silence, the thing she feared most. It had envealoped them only becoming worse as the seconds drew on. She looked at him then the sky, the trees, the grass, the snow, the river, etc. (Me: gonk sweatdrop say something ^^) Then finally she got herself to speak. "Say, Kamali? You look tired, would you like to come to my packland and rest?" She said trying to say it as innocently as possible. She was sure, that Akui and Nyx wouldn't mind.

"Y..your pack? uh well.." He shifted, it would be nice to sleep with other wolves, comfort and companionship. "You alphas would not mind?" His head tilted, watching her, this time not looking away. "I could use a nicer spot to rest than a bush..."

She grinned, "I don't think they'll mind..." She said bubbling with joy, but also a tinge of nervousness. Oh this will be nerve racking... she said trying not to imagine what Akui might do to tease/play/joke with him. She pushed the thought aside, "I bet" she said laughing. "Well, would you like to head over there or do you want to wait a bit longer?"

"The weather seems nice enough, the walk will be apprieciated. Let's go now.." he stooed and shook a little, giving her a wolfish smile, then looking around. "Lead the way?"

She nodded getting up from her haunches. She began to walk towards the river. She found an icey passage that would let 'em cross without breaking. She slowly walked along it before passing it. She sighed before looking at him. "How long has it been since we've last seen each other?"

He followed her, steps rather graceful, and carefully placed, especially along the ice, to keep from slipping. He was naturally quiet on the prowl biggrin . "How long.." he mused to himself. "The last time was.. well before you left.. and before that the porcupine.." He wuffed, as if embaressed, then shrugged lightly. "It has been quite a while." After crossing the river he'd walked next to her, but a little behind so she could still lead.

Noke nodded, "It's...been a long time then..." She whispered, "Well I'm glad you came back to visit." Estatic you came back... she said to herself with a playful smile. She took the all to familiar trail back to her home, in which she wanted to share with Kamali. But then again how if he didn't love her? And why? When he was so loyal to his pack. Inside she gave a silent sigh as they continued. Then as another quiet moment came, she was intent on getting rid of it. "Well, our settlement isn't that far now."

He nodded slowly and shifted in his walking, trying not to think. "Not far? That is good.." he murmered, ears flicking. He decided to try to make conversation, because it was better than silence. "IS there good hunting in these parts?" But he hated hunting.
