Guildwars had an insane amount of storyline, and while it helped to have parties, you could live without, or use NPCs in your party if people aren't available. Then, for each class, there are different armors with different appearances, plus you can use dyes to change their color. Not that it doesn't have its faults, too... the level 20 limitation is cool at first, but once you've got multiple chars there, you start wanting more. That's where PK comes in, but I'm not much of a PVPer.

i've actually got Guild Wars, given i haven't touched it in a while because it was too boring after awhile...the story of a MMO just can't match the story of an offline game, although they can still be good.

With the new update that passed 600 profiles were banned for the farming bots the japanese used and a lot of the high auction house prices have gone down considerably because of it like the most expensive item on the game just became a rare/ex and cannot be sold now so you can only farm it for its sole purpose...to wear it. its been tuned a lot lately and it has made it a bit more enjoyable

Got it installed and everything working. What's the info for the world pass? How do we use it?

to use the pass, create a new character, and right after entering a name, you will be asked a world name, type it there (first letter MUST be capitalized). press enter once more, then it will bring up a box for the world pass, just a 10-digit number. when gothic sephiroth gets the new pass, i'll be joining in as well.

Hrmm.... what race and job to play? Maybe taru sum/wm or...possibly hume so I can change my mind(which I'm so fond of doing).

my chara right now is Elvaan. i'm lvling up warrior right now, just so i can do the sub job quest, then i'm going to switch back to black mage i think until i can get ninja and samurai
i'm still deciding on what i'll be if i make another on cerberus...

ok in terms of race and everything never use Galka, they are kinda hated on my server. If you want some type of magic job use either Taru, Hume or Mithra. For those that want the strait up fighting class jobs i suggest Elvaan because they get the greatest Strength on the game and second greatest health, they also dont have much Accuracy so you will need to get equiptment that boosts that later on but it is the fastest race to take to 20 with war so you can get subjob and Chocobo licence plus i will be on call for any job you need power leveld to 10 you just gotta catch me when im on (usually when i get home from school at about 4pm mountain time and i stay on till about 3am)

nah, he just doesn't check this as often as us...i used to live on gaia before i got FFXI, but now i only keep up with the guild...too much effort to venture out into the rest of the forum...

Wow, that was fast. I keep bouncing from server to server, killing time, mostly entertaining myself by using the very limited Japanese I learned as a frosh in college.
He was having problems getting on yesterday, but supposedly Square-Enix has fixed the Cerberus server problems, so hopefully anytime now we'll get a pass to it.

awesome, i can't wait! i should be getting my sub job quest done on Pandemonium server tonight. i've been trying to get my whm lvled up a bit so i could sub it while i lvl up my black mage some more....

Ok server maintanance is over and i can only purchase one WP at a time but i sent it to Darken, so get on soon so i can get the other one out there, im probabily gonna make a mule thats dedicated to just buying WP's for everyone. and no im not broken, yet, and i probabily will by the time im out of the dunes with all my jobs XD. Update on stats:
