PrimeOdd ~[girlygirl]~ Toast the fine folks casting silver crumbs to us from the dock. Jinxed things ringing as they leak through tiny cracks in the boardwalk. Scarecrow, now it's time to hatch sprouting suns and ageless daughters. Don't you know? Don't you know that those watermelon smiles just can't ripen underwater? Just can't ripen underwater.
So the same story in different character's points of view.
That's a bit lazy sounding to me, and it seems like she's milking the series for what it's worth. Which means it's going to gradually get worse. >.>
I'm just stating an opinion.I don't think it's lazy. surprised Stephenie Meyer didn't want to prolong the story, but she still wants to build up the characters. Plus, she isn't even writing the book for us. She's writing it for herself. So, if she was lazy, she wouldn't write any story at all. So she wanted to get a new book out as soon as possible. And if she were writing it for herself, then why is it being published? o.o
I'm not hating on Twilight. Please don't think that. DX

I got it! 4laugh Stupid hardcover release only surprised It's a heavy book to be dragging around the airport. But whatever <333
When I got to the "book 2" part I was kinda mad I don't want to give anything away... but I'm definitely not on both Team Edward and Team Jacob. So it annoyed me. Except I was desperate to find out what happened so obviously I did keep reading... but not until after I flipped through the pages until I found "book 3" so that I'd know how long book 2 was gonna last xp
And I'm looking forward to the next book, Twilight from Edward's point of view. I can see how people might think she's just trying to make more money off the series, without having to actually come up with plots and stuff... but then again, she might not be. Maybe there will be a lot more character development about the Cullens, since Edward knows them so well. Maybe there will be things going on with them that Bella didn't know about during Twilight, since she didn't even know they were vampires at first. You never know! Either way, I just think it'll be interesting to read Edward's version of it. Edward is awesome <3
Edit: WHEN DID GAIA GET RID OF DOMO?! gonk Edit again: Oh, I guess it's Domokun now xp

"She didn't want to prolong the story, but she still wants to build up the characters." That's what it translated to in my head.
Well, in my eyes, and I write... If you're writing it for yourself, you might as well not bother with the details, shove it in your desk drawer, and forget about it. But that's just me. =/

The story writes itself, as Stephenie says. She's just along for the ride.

I see.
Well, I think this would just prolong the story worse than if she just got on with the plot.
But of course, that's just me.
I guess she can't help it if it writes itself. I can understand that.
