Rhiana woke up after a short nap, realizing she hadn't fed in quite awhile. She slid out of bed and headed towards the kitchen where she once again, pulled out a bloodpack and poured it into a random cup. After she felt refreshed enough, she decided she would hop in the shower and then head out to the stores. It would be nice to look around at baby things and make a mental note of what she may need. Of course, she didn't know the gender of her future baby which could make things a little difficult. Perhaps she could see about resolving that issue once she has been pregnant longer.

Once out of the shower, Rhiana put on her cloak and headed out. She ignored the odd stares as she walked to town, having grown quite used to them. Her excuse became such a habit lately that she could almost believe it herself if she didn't know it to be untrue. People were trusting and gullible in a way and sometimes it worked in Rhiana's favor. If someone asked about the cloak, she would reply with how sensitive her skin is and how it would react quickly and violently in response to the heat from the sun. Rhiana chuckled under her cloak. In a way, it wouldn't be untrue at all if she didn't pass it off as a medical condition.

Rhiana walked into the 'Baby-Kyoot' store and looked around. She couldn't believe there were so many items made for children. There was a section with clothes, with diapers, with accessories like strollers and carseats, some with toys and another section with formula and foods. Rhiana wondered.. what it is her baby would eat. Should she stock up on a little bit of everything or should she be patient and try to find out from the Clinic staff once she was further along in her pregnancy.

Rhiana decided to settle with the latter thought and grabbed a shopping cart nearby and proceeded to check out the store.

Rhiana picked up a couple teddybears, one pink and one blue. Heck, those were her favorite colors so they should both work regardless of the gender of her baby. Rhiana grabbed a set of blocks too, as well as some teethers, baby bottles, diapers and a Baby Journal. What an interesting book it was. It would allow Rhiana to make journal posts to her child, so that when her child grew up, he or she could find out what Rhiana had been thinking about them during her pregnancy and their lives. Rhiana also picked up a couple baby photo books and some baby blankets as well. Figuring it was enough to start with, she headed to the cashier.

Two months later...

Rhiana paced around her room, frowning. Her stomach was extremely large now. Okay, maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but it felt extremely large. Her ankles were starting to swell and the flutters in her stomach were coming more. The baby was on the move. Rhiana wondered how long it would be before the baby would be ready for the final move.

Rhiana wondered why it felt like the baby was purring. Rhiana couldn't be sure but sometimes she would feel this drum coming from within her. It was definately purring and sometimes, she would feel a warmth coming from within as well.

Rhiana sighed and looked at the clock. Fidsah was 'on a job'. She didn't know exactly what it is he did but believes him to be a hired hitman of sorts. She couldn't complain because he made good money and that was a necessity. Still.. she wished he were home more. She was scared to go into labor without him around.

Rhiana walked into the kitchen and pulled out a blood pack, sat down and began to drink it. She pondered what kind of family she would have, what kind of mother she would be and what kind of father Fidsah would be. They'd certainly be an odd family, that's for sure.

Rhiana smiled as she felt the baby move within her. Instinctively she placed her hand upon her stomach. How peaceful she felt whenever the baby kicked or moved. She loved the butterfly-like flutters. She was told she would never know love, that vampires could not feel yet.. she loved Fidsah in her own way and she definately felt love for this baby.

After finishing the blood pack, Rhiana headed to her room to take a nap. Getting into bed was a chore. Getting out of the bed was an even bigger chore! Rhiana turned to lay on her side and closed her eyes. She was tired so often lately. Just a little nap, she promised herself. That's all, just a little nap.

An hour or so later, Rhiana woke up from the baby moving again. The baby seemed quite a bit more active lately than usual. Rhiana hoped nothing was wrong.

Fidsah drinks a beer.

Rhiana pulled herself out of bed and headed to the kitchen, arching a brow as she saw Fidsah drinking a beer. "I don't think it will be too long before the baby is born. I can feel the baby moving his or her way down."

Rhiana leaned down to kiss Fidsah on the top of his head before moving to set across from him at the table.

"I ordered some more baby items that I hope will arrive in the next day or two. I fully expect you to put the crib together asap once it arrives. I can't bend over and get up or down like I used to."

*pout*

Rhiana twirled a finger around a pigtail while she watched Fidsah drink his bear. He never was one for a lot of talking. She wondered if a child might help get him out of his shell.

Rhiana hoped she would be a good mother to the child. She already loved him or her, but as a mother, she had no experience whatsoever and vampires were not exactly the most compassionate of races. Rhiana vowed she would try her best, though.
