i'm quite fine with anything involving warrior class, i don't have a problem with magic, it's just that in my opinion i do better with warrior skills rather than mages or seers. ^_^

Lady Shadow the Hakkari World of Warcraft classes (shaman, hunters (with pets), priests, druids (shapeshifters), magi, warriors, etc) no. And yes I have a combat and point system worked out plus youll never be the same as another character thanks to the use of general skills (which there will be a lot of)

class?= a meat shield...btw centaurs are known as excelant bowman, and spearman.

DnD is a good reference although if you wanted me to post my own list of things I think a centaur RPG would include...
Ranger/Hunter/Archer (definitely a no-brainer) - However, I'm not in favor of having a pet. Having... say, a tracking hound as a companion is fine, but I don't want it to be an important part of the class. It should be more for the look and feel. Maybe say.... be able to send the pet to scout ahead, but not anything like Beast Mastery LOLOL MY PET R MAUL U NAO ...
Warrior/Fighter/Duelist - Centaurs are essentially mounted cavalry. Warrior for the people who like really heavy, brute-strength stuff, all the way to a duelist/rogue type at the other end of the spectrum.
Druid - FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NO SHAPESHIFTING
Shaman/Medicine (wo)man - A connection to the natural elements, although not specifically nature like druids. No totems plz.
I suppose Bard is fitting, but from a non-gameplay point of view I kind of view that as more of a profession/occupation that a character class.
I've never viewed centaurs as being particularly "religious", so I'd assume their healing spells are all linked with nature and growth.
Mage/Wizard/Sorc/other arcane spellcasters would probably be a desired class by people who don't want to stick to the ambiance and want to nuke things (or just plain like the concept of MAGIC lolololol) but I'm very strongly against it.

I plan to use character class Arch Types like fighter and such but split up their good parts and maximize them so youll differnt kinds of fighters, healers, mages..
and um not to spoil anything but: there will be awsome exclusive classes depending on your centaur color each color will have 1 or 2 extra classes and the best part YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR CLASS! you can change your class once a day to level up in it.
Example: Im a maxed out (insert class here), but the rest of my classes are noobish so I'm going to start training them so i can join my buddy's party as a (insert class here.)
(sorry about the insert class here but I'm not spoiling any.)

I'm going to not finalize my RP character until the details about that are published, so I can judge whether I want to have access to a certain class or want to keep my coat colour more. I can afford to use a second potion.

-Shaman// Can heal things, regeneration spells, higher defense spells, more attack damage spells
-Poisenguymanthing// Can deal out poisen chemicals, insteant death or lower stats towards the enemy? Maybe paralyzing the enemy or putting him to sleep?
-Dark Wizard// Attack spells, perhaps elemental control, lower class poisenguymanthing
-Light Wizard// A bit of a lower class Shaman, perhaps elemental control?
-Summoner// Can summon things...?
Warriors:
-LordofWar// LOTS of attack damage, maybe immobolizing enemy...?
Expert of any weapon.
-Spearman// Expert with Spears, can throw long distances.
-Axeman// Axe guy...FIgure it out?
-Blunt objects// Can use random objects as weapons. I.E, throwing a boulder, hitting with a club, smashing desks...etc., etc
-Fighter/ Hoof to Hoof combat? xD
Bowman/Rouges/__?
...
I'm not sure about this one...
My input, but I don't think we need classes in this RP, and I'm not sure if we should use them...
But maybe in zOMG, we could all group together? CENTAURS! Wo0o0o0o!
