I smiled, Why coulsn't straight guys be like gay guys?! "Sure" I said. I allowed him to lead me outside and took a seat. "So, Markus, What brings you to Guilty Pleasures?" I ask as I pull out a cigarette and offer one to him.

I shrugged at her question, then shook my head at the cig offer.
"I don't know, just boredom, I guess," I said. I took another sip from the glass. That was another great thing about Guilty Pleasures. They let you leave with the drinks, as long as you left them in one of the many recepticals. They weren't made of glass, but rather, hard plastic.
"Plus they make a killer Mai Thai," I said, smiling, echoing my thoughts from earlier. "Why work there?" I asked her.

I smiled as I lit my cigarette, "You should try their White Russians!" I said, grinning. I thought for a moment on his question, "Well, I have always been good at turning people on, anyone, and I love the whole club scene. Plus, I like polls!" I added with a wink.

I laughed at that. "Well, then, I guess I'm not anyone," I said teasingly. This girl, Kit, was easy to talk to, even if she did shed clothes for money. It was better than whoring herself on street corners and praying that some sicko that was into erotic asphyxiation wouldn't pick her up. Anything was better than that, really.

"Hey," I said, finishing my drink, "My shift ends in 20 minutes, I need to get back on the floor, but do you wanna head over to the Lunatic Cafe?" I stood up and finished my cigarette and smiled down at him with promising eyes.

I stood up after her and finished my own drink. The Lunatic Cafe was the hot shapeshifter hang out, and some of said shapeshifters had petty problems with vampires.
"Sure," I said, leading the way back to the club. "I'll be up all night," I added with a grin.

I laughed, and looked him with a smile, "You know you want to spend it all with me!" I added with some more laughter. I went on and worked the floor some more. I had just enough time to give a regular a good lap dance. I went in to see Jean-Claude and gave him half of my tips. He smiled and faired me well and a good night. I smiled mischeviously at him and walked through the floor. I found Markus at the bar and smiled, "Are ya ready?" i asked like an annoying pre-teen girl.

I hooked my arm through hers and led the way to the exit. The night air was filled with voices and laughter of nervous humans and other beasties having a good time - or trying to.
The Lunatic Cafe was only a couple blocks away. It looked like any other diner/cafe deal, but it didn't feel like one. The energy radiating off of it was mind-bending. Granted, if you get too many of anything non-human in one place, the energy tends to get high.

I grinned as we took our seat and ordered the cheesburger meal and a sex on the beach. I looked over to Markus, "So what do you do?"

I placed my order after Kit - a simple coffee with Bailey's Irish Creamer - and followed her to a booth. A couple unfriendly stares never hurt anyone, least of all me. There were doors along the back walls that led to private rooms and such that made you forget you were in the supernatural equivalent of a preternatural diner. Under the cafe were rooms for private business. They were most used my the once-alpha male, but he was long gone. Now it's a big party ground in the dead of night.
"Nothing really," I say. "I do a couple odd jobs here and there around the District. I work part time at Danse Macabre. It's easy to pay the rent when you live there." I smiled and sipped my coffee.

"Yeah? that's pretty cool, I live in an appartment shared by me and a bunch of the girls," i said, sipping on my drink. I looked around and notcied how many people were now staring at me, I started to wonder why when I realized i was still in work clothes, or, I should say, my every day clothes, sense I wore nothing else. I'm such a whore...

Teddy shuffled down one of many cobblestoned streets, head down and back slouched, with no idea where he was. No, that wasn't entirely true. He knew he was still in Riverfront, the absolutely last place he wanted to be with the sky dark and no way home. He chewed on his lower lip, avoiding making eye contact with anyone. He had heard so many rumors about the place, but had never actually been here before. Scared out of his wits, he wondered not for the first time why he had let Dean and the others talk him into coming.

To be honest, it wasn't so bad when they arrived in the late afternoon. They had grabbed a bite to eat, hung around the doors of still closed establishments and told stories of a friend of a friend's dog's groomer being mauled, turned or whatever. It was pretty goofy fun and harmless with the sun up and surrounded by friends. But as always happened whenever he went anywhere lately, his friends brought girlfriends and they'd disappear to make out. Probably thought it was exciting or whatever to 'play vampire' and give each other hickeys.

Well, it had stopped being any fun at all for Teddy a few hours ago. Hours! They must have left him here as some kind of sick joke. Teddy stopped to roughly wipe his eyes with the sleeve of his oversized blue shirt. Okay, so they were playing a stupid prank, he didn't have to overreact. It was fine. They were his friends; they would find him in a few minutes and laugh an take him home. It was no big deal. Teddy kept reminding himself of how it was all going to be okay as he continued his aimless walk, eyes primarily focused on his feet.

"Oh, that's fun," I said. It did indeed sound fun, living with some of your friends. I would've gone on to explain my statement, but an alluring scent caught my attention. I looked out the window to see a young man in an oversized blue shirt, looking utterly lost and confused. The fact that he was human was even more enticing.
"You'll have to excuse me," I said politely to Kit. "I've been ah... rather distracted." I slid out of the booth and made for the door. "I'll be back," I assured her as I pushed the door open. I made my way to the human boy.
Two men displaying affection was not a sight that took many people by surprise in the District, so I casually wrapped my arms around his waist and brought my lips to his ears.
"Your fear smells absolutely delectable," I said in a voice just above a whisper.

Teddy made a startled whimpering sound, more like one would expect from a kicked puppy, when he felt someone's arms reach around him. Just as he was starting to get annoyed at his own reaction, the stranger's words sunk into his brain. Already freaked out at being in this place alone, that simple statement easily turned Teddy's mouth dry and his heart was beating way too fast. No, no this was just part of whatever stupid game his friends were playing. They must be laughing themselves to tears with how he was acting.

"Th-that's not funny. Which one of those losers put you up to this?" He wanted to sound angry, but the whole incident had shocked him too badly. Enough so that his hands shook slightly when he tried to push the man's arms away. Tried being the key word; there wasn't even an effort on the stranger's part to keep Teddy in his grasp; his arms were just that solid.

No, that was stupid. He just needed to calm down. If he wasn't acting like he was going to scream and wet his pants, he'd be able to push this guy off just fine. Then he could smell all the delectable fear from a few blocks away when Teddy booked it! Alright, maybe he wasn't entirely calm yet.

My expression turned to one of puzzlement, though the boy couldn't see it.
"What losers?" I asked innocently. "Your heart is racing," I noted. "Calm down. I'm not going to hurt you." I lowered my lips to his neck and whispered against it. "It's just been a while since I've had a scared human." Okay, so maybe I was just messing with him a little bit. I didn't really want to take him then and there. I hadn't even seen his face that great, so I couldn't know how scrumptious he really was. Hell, I didnt' even know if he walked that side of the path, as they say. But damn did he smell good.
I was starting to spook myself a little bit, so I relaxed my arms. That way he wouldn't feel as if he were being held captive... as much, at least.
