Clothing that will work for us, capes that don't cut us in half was mentioned, more staff like items that can be held, the ability to carry someone/thing on my back....

I really love the idea for hind tattoos and chakrams, but I'm not digging the saddle idea.
As for anklets that fit now, try the demonic anklets in the nightmare wing pose.
The layering is fine, but I think it would look better on a black centaur as opposed to a grey or bay one.

Also, I think that the heartstring on the leg pose should be lowered a bit, so that it doesn't look so awkward.
