"Really?" Canting his head, he looked thoughtful for a moment. In all honesty, he couldn't say he had much of a story, either. After all, he only ran around like a foal and played most of the time. Nothing overly interesting. Still, it was his life and he enjoyed it that way. "Well, maybe others' stories will help you find your own." It was a possibility. Others could be inspiring. Then again, at the same time... "But maybe you just have to keep looking for yourself. Find something that speaks to you and go for it." He looked sheepish. Talking about stuff like this wasn't what he was best at. "I like to run, myself."

"Maybe..." She smiled, closing her eyes for a moment. "I used to run more when I was little; before I knew how to fly. Now I can fly faster than I run, it seems." Opening her eyes she looked to him. "You're really smart, you know." Or at least he seemed like it, encouraging her just as her family did.

Blinking a few times, he tried to imagine what it would be like to see a full-sized horse flying through the air. He'd never seen such a thing, having never met another winged one in his lifetime. But he was positive it wouldn't be much different than running. If it was like she'd said, flying was just another way to get around and maybe even another way to play. "You can fly fast, huh?" The smile that immediately came to his maw made it look like he'd taken that as a challenge, albeit an indirect one. "We should race sometime. I wanna see how fast fliers can really go!" He momentarily eyed her large wings. "Eeeh? Smart?" The expression he wore became disbelieving. "I definitely wouldn't call myself smart. I don't know a whole lot..."

"Well, sort of fast. Not as fast as my mother can... But I'm learning." She smiled, closing her eyes in thought for a moment. "It's different, but I like it... Racing?" Her brow lofted, eye opening so that she could tilt her head to peer at him. "That could be a lot of fun. And yes, smart. You don't have to know a whole lot when it comes to being smart, I don't think. I mean... If you knew everything you'd never learn anything new, right?"

"Alright! We can both practice going faster with a race and you'll be as fast as your mother in no time. It'll be nothin'!" Grinning, he shook out his braided main, thinking already about the feeling of wind through his hair and the new experience of having to keep up with someone who could run though the air. Lost in thoughts of racing, he nearly missed her affirmation of his intelligence. No way. He still couldn't believe that he was really smart at all. Thinking just wasn't something he did on a regular basis, after all. And didn't you have to think of important things to be smart. Shrugging a bit, he still took her compliment and rolled with it. "Well, thanks. I'll have ta keep learning new things all the time then. And maybe someday I really will be smart enough be called it by someone like you." Chuckling, he looked sheepish.

"It shouldn't be hard to keep learning new things. We learn things every day, even if we don't notice it until later." She nodded slowly as she smiled, letting her eyes close for a moment. "I can't wait for spring to come again..."

"Right, right..." Nakawara muttered, nodding in an almost serious agreement. Too bad he looked so silly trying to be serious. "I believe ya. But sometimes I don't think I learn anything that isn't runnin'." Regardless, he shook his head and watched her a bit longer, even after her eyes had closed to the world. "You don't like the cold, do ya?" He questioned thoughtfully.
