I like the idea of squads but constant peace defeats the purpose, we don't have to go to war or anything but a little friendly competetion wouldn't hurt. Why not open up a sub forum called "Vahalla" ? In Norse mythology everyone in Vahalla is at peace however they have a large battle ground where warriors do battle and if they are slain they are simply brought back to life in the nearest tavern. It's like a video games, only it hurts. ALOT.
Also the names mentioned above are great but celestial... also seems stereotypical jsut like midnight was to black. So if black is corrupt why not call us white centaurs "Aligned, Lawful or Justice," it just seems to fit in better.
Plus when squads do exist they should each have a distinct backstory seperating each squad but also uniting them as a common force :-3

Yes, we have discussed having different groups by the colors before but we'll see where that leads us. Remember, if we decide to actually make different "teams" NO team is better than the other. No competition or pety gestures will be made.

Rather a celebration of origin. I like to think of the Earthweaver herd a great collective of people of all origins and cultures, something like the Ottoman empire. A great alliance. 3nodding Squads we haven't really worked out yet, it's not the best word. But we'd like to group scholars, warriors, merchants, etc, and have an elder/leader in charge of maintaining them.

Like others have pointed out though, you'll have to work hard to keep arguments from springing up between the squads.
I'm still in favor of squads, but maybe separate them based on alignment/something other than the colour of one's coat?

«×¤ψ¤×» Well the color of ones coat really is the main focus of diving because unless you want to get to the nitty gritty and focus on more of ideas for culture rather than appearance then why not expand it even more.

Dividing the cetaurs up by colours would make it a lot easier for the captains. I mean, it isn't anything like segregation, but that would be a pretty good idea. xD

I don't mind seperating by color but what about certain jobs? If I recall it mentioned in the guild home page that we would have some 'clan' of sorts for when the MMO is released. We could have groups organized for site events, user events, MMO, and such.

The white and gray has a history of being artists, story tellers, scientists. The black centaurs, being warriors, traders, builders. Something like that. But I'm just thinking story line.
