Trying to pull back her arm but being a tad too slow, Michiko was cut slightly above the elbow, and the muscle underneath cringed at the blade. Stepping back, Michiko quickly put her clenching arm to the ground as a support and tried a sweep kick along the ground towards Envy's legs while taking her blade bearing hand and grabbed the ribbons on the hilt. Like a lasso she spun it at just above envy's head and began to lower it.
This was a sandwiching strategy, because if her opponent jumped the kick she hit the blade, and ducked the blade she'd be tripped by the kick.

As soon as Envy saw that Michiko bent to the ground she knew what the other girl was going to do. Which means that she had to choose. Trip? Or loose her head.... She decided to fall down. She fell from the kick at her legs and immediatly kicked herself back on her feet away from the pain ignoring the pain from her shins. 's**t...That's gonna leave a bruise...'
Envy tossed her right blade to her left hand and cinnected the two blades to make one. Concentrating her riatsu to her hand, she put her palm out towards Michiko. "Hadou #33 - Soukatsui " A bright blue fireball flew out her hand and towards Michiko.
Even though she didn't say the incantation to this kidou this attack was still powerful being shot at a close range.

Oh crap. Michiko made a roll as the kidou attack was launched, moving her body out of its path, but her right leg got caught in the impact. Gritting her teeth, Michiko saw that her other blades that she had thrown a little while back to deflect electricity was within reach. Reaching out with her bleeding arm to scoop up the blade. With both blades in hand she called out, "Take to the skies in flight!" And with one forceful thrust of her blades got herself in the air. Her logic was if her leg was useless, which it was considering it wouldn't move, use her makeshift wings to move.
Turning swiftly around while still only 5 metres off the ground, Michiko changed her flight path to a dive at Envy, one blade slashing downward from overhead, the other held alongside her until the last possible second when it was slashed horizontally.

Envy ducked to try to miss the blades. She missed one. One. She wasn't fast enough and the side of her left arm got cut deep. She cleared her mind to forget the pain and reached her right hand over to take her sword out of her left hand. 'it's a good thing I'm a righty..'she thought to herself.
Before the chance was gone she quickly reached up with her blade and slashed at Michiko's ribs.

Seeing that she was open for an almost inevitable attack, after her slashes Michiko had dropped her right blade and was gathering reiatsu in her hand, and spoke, "Bakudo #9, geki!" The kido's paralyzing affect only saving her from a fatal blow, still stuck with a shallow bleeding wound from the blade, she was lucky that her target had been close enough for this to work so fast.
Hurrying to try and make a good hit before the paralysis wore off, that could be fast considering Envy's high rank as a shinigami, Michiko thrust her left blade down on her weapon wielding arm.

'Damnit! Come on Envy fight...Fight it..' Envy's eyes widened as she saw Michiko's blade go down on her arm. She might've cut her arm off, if it wasn't for the fact that Envy had managed to move her arm. An inch of muscle was all that had her arm still intact to her body.
Envy bit her tounge so hard trying not to scream that it had started to bleed. She spit the blood out of her mouth and then ripped the bottom piece of her shirt with her teeth to wrap her right arm in so that it would stay together. 's**t... dont think I can heal an injured arm with an injured arm...and I dont wanna try...Ill just have to bear the pain..damn..'
Envy bit her tongue again as she moved her left arm to grasp the blade. Concetrating electricity into her sword Envy slashed upward towards Michiko.

Hopping back a step retreat on her good foot, Envy's blade caught her in her already injured arm and she lifted it to block her torso, the shock running through her already numbing nerves and she recoiled back from it. Michiko brought up her blade that she still held in her better, not necessarily good with a bleeding forearm but considerably better, hand and locked her jagged blade in place with the lightning shaped blade once again restraining its use.
Her bad leg still twitching in protest as she stood holding Envy there, She bit lip as shifted her weight onto it for the split second she need to use her good foot to kick up at her opponent's wrist to make her release the blade. With those injured arms her zanpaktou was her last vice...

Michiko's kick hit Envy's arm. She let go of her sword. And bit down so harrd down on her tongue that she actually bit the top of her tongue off. She spit the blood and tongue out and pointed her already aching hand at Michiko's leg. "Hadou#4 - Byakurai" She only put enough power into the attack so that it would cause Michiko pain but not any real damage. "Heh, now were even." she mumbled to herself.
