Taking on three little children had been the most tiring and the most rewarding thing in Marco's life. The man had seemingly endless patience which was a necessity for this trio. Claydon in particular.

Since Marco had brought them home Clay had been the most rambunctious of the three. He picked on Romeo a lot and it was hard to have to punish any of the three but it seemed Clay was always in time outs. The little red head did leave Deidre alone though. Strangely enough the three didn't seem as close as most siblings. The girl was sweet but didn't seem to care much for the boys. Romeo was the most sensitive of the three and did like his brother and sister but neither of them really liked to spend time with him. Clay was always an attention grabber, he probably picked on Romeo solely for the mans attention or so Marco thought.

The house wasn't big and the two boys had to share a room, Clay had the top bunk and Romeo the bottom. Half the room was filled with all sorts of comics and action figures while the other half was full of balls and sports equipment. It was like polar opposites.

It didn't take long for Marco to warm up to the three but it took Clay the longest to warm up to his father. Being a Buddhist Marco wasn't the sports loving, yelling at the TV dad Clay had hoped on. Even though his vision of a dad was shattered it didn't take long for the two to find something they both enjoyed.

Clay had one day stumbled upon the weights and punching bag that Marco kept to train himself. His line of work required a certain level of fitness. The boy quickly took up the equipment so he too could work out and become great at sports just like his favorite athletes!

Soon enough Marco and Clay were seeing eye to eye. Almost every night while Romeo and Dei watched their evening cartoons before bed Marco would go into the basement with Clay and spend time with him, letting Clay use the smallest weights and try to kick and punch at the punching bag even if most of the time the recoil sent him to the ground on his little butt.

Deidre seemed the strangest one out of the three triplets. She was always off doing her own thing. Her own very girlish things. Marco understood, being the only girl in the family must get pretty boring. Though she was very sweet to her father Marco still knew she wished there was another female in the house.

Most days Deidre would spend her time holed up in her room either having a tea party or playing house. When her brothers bugged her the little girl had no patience for them. Once she even punched Clay in the arm, sending the tot back to Marco sniffling.

Dei was very girly. She loved pink, ponies and pom-poms. She liked to play make believe and loved flowers even more.

One thing Marco could do for her was give her her own little garden. While he couldn't give her a sister he could give her something else she could watch over and she did, with pride.

Her little flower garden was her own personal pride and joy. She would water them daily and even hold conversations with them. If either of the boys were to ever dare to touch her garden the consequences would be dire. Fortunately that has yet to happen.

Romeo was since the day they were brought home the sweetest and most generous of the three. He was quite the oddball though. Even though Marco was still a stranger to them all it only took Romeo a few days before he started to call him dad.

Romeo was even at such an early age, a nerd. He LOVED comics and cartoons. And his hero was none other than Batman. The first toy Marco had bought him was his Batman figurine, it has since then been his most prized possession.

The little boys nerdiness along with his chubbier size were the two main reasons of his brother, Clay, to constantly pick on him. Even though Clay always seemed to be picking on Romeo the two tended to share a rather strange bond. Romeo would most times be around Clay when it was just the four of them at home. Clay didn't mind either. Marco picked up on it, it was one of those strange sibling relationships where insults really meant I love you.

Romeo was a little shyer than the other two as well. He didn't hide behind Marco or his other siblings like most shy children, he just sort of clung. And spoke very softly. However once he got to know some one he was just a little ball of energy. He ALWAYS had to show his action figures to everyone.
