Zack watched the two talk, and thought aloud. "Heheh... early presents..." He realized he mumbled the words aloud, and panicked. "N.. not that I care... heheh... I'm just glad I'll be able to have fun with everyone..." He mumbled nervously as he tried to cover up his thoughts.

He entered the room and looked around.He saw the captain and two other people.He assumed that the girl was the Vice-Captain,since that was part of what he had heard."Hey.I'm Matsu.Congrats on becoming the new Vice-Captain."he said,giving a short bow as he did."So...what is this that I heard about a birthday?"he asked,hoping that someone would answer him.

Michiko smirked, almost a I-heard-that type face as Zack tried to cover up his excitement for his birthday. As Matsu came in, Michiko smiled and replied, "Thank you, Matsu. Hope I can be useful to the squad in this new position." Then at his question she smiled and patted Zack on the shoulder while she said, "Zack here's birthday is coming up and we're throwing a party."

Zack chuckled smiling at Michiko. "Heard what...?" He said laughing as he recognized the look she gave him. He then snatched her up in a hug, and laughed as she mentioned his party. "The party is for you too silly... Don't forget that..." He said letting her go, and patting her head as he finished his sentence.

Zack thought for a second, and made a funny expression. "Um... Michiko... hypothetical question..." He said looking around shifty eyed. "If I were to have fake cat paws, and ears... would you put some cat toys in that vacant corner...?" He pointed to an empty corner, and smiled. "I wouldn't mind being a pet..." He said dead serious with a grin. "Just hypothetical..." Zack mumbled laughing nervously.

Michiko help it, she started laughing. "If you came in like that... maybe. Hypothetical eh?" She said, smiling at the end of her reply, wondering if this 'hypothetical' question was a tad too specific.

"Okay..." Zack mumbled leaving the room. He entered the room a few seconds later with cat ears, and paws. "So... um... I'm putting that hypothesis to the test... can I be your pet?" He asked grinning from ear to ear.

As he came back Michiko went into a fit of giggles, cover her mouth to try to muffle them since they had gotten really loud. Recovering a bit, she said, "I guess so. Can you fetch?"

"Mm-hmm..." Zack nodded pulling a squeaky mouse toy out of his sleave. He squeaked it twice and handed it to her. "But... I'll only fetch this... or files and stuff if your ever really busy..." He said laughing as he scratched the back of his head nervously. He seemed to be taking the pet thing completely serious.

Zack blinked a couple times, and looked at her weird. "Um... humour you...? I'm serious..." He said as he tilted his head to the side, and gave an innocent look. By this point anyone could tell he really meant every word.

Blinking once or twice herself, Michiko thought for a second, then grinned. "Alright then, make yourself at home, the corner is all yours," She said as she sat down on the couch at the side of the room.

"Thank you!" Zack said enthusiastically with a bow, and flew from the room. He returned minutes later with a tall stick that curved slightly at the top. He placed it on it's small stand, and tied a rope with a fuzzy toy at the end which contained a bell. The bell jingled a couple times as he set it up. Zack flew from the room again returning several minutes later. He dragged in a paw shaped bean bag chair big enough to lay on. The brown and pink chair was positioned directly below the toy. Zack layed on his back in the chair, and began playing with his toy.
