It was after a while when Minori realized that she was heading towards the wrong way. It was the familiar path she usually took to her classroom...her old classroom, she corrected herself mentally. 1A was last year. Still, they had many good memories and she paused outside their old classroom to smile fondly inside, adjusting the strap of her bag on her shoulder with a hand.
Giving a small sigh, she turned and headed to where her new classroom, the 2A classroom was, and spotted two boys down the hallway. They looked new, probably the first years. It was funny to think of these as her juniors, when she still thought of herself as a first year. It just wasn't very easy to get used to this transition. Yet.
One of them wore a mask, and she couldn't help but give him a curious glance. Still, she decided to play the part of the friendly senior and lifted her hand to wave at them and offered them a friendly smile.

"Mitsuko-chan!" Takumi recognized the girl immediately by her voice and turned to face her. "Good morning yourself!" He smiled as she spun around and checked the halls for any sign of their dark-haired friend.
"Actually, you're the first person I've seen today," he replied, following Mitsuko's gaze down the hallways. The boy thought he had arrived rather early, but it seemed like other students were getting here around the same time. Well, at least it meant he could speak to them before class started.
Checking his watch, Takumi turned to see if anyone had arrived at 2-A yet. The classroom appeared to be empty, for now. "It seems like we still have a bit of time left. Maybe we should look for Minori-chan?" He prodded Mitsuko gently down the hall with a grin, returning his gaze to the corridor. Students were beginning to show up, and he watched a few greet each other. Minori should be nearby as well. Poking his head around the corner, he immediately noticed the girl as well as a few first years.
"There you are!" he called.

Yeah, he definitely found Connor at least ninety percent as hilarious as cable. It was probably the only thing that saved their precarious friendship. "And who would you cheat your math homework off of, Carrot?" If Kreszant was good at anything, it was mathematics, and he had the grades to prove it. Since there wasn't any unnecessary work required, maintaining his scores in algebra came easily to him.
Instead of answering, he started off, leading the way to their classroom. Just outside it, though, a senior waved and he found it necessary to stop and give her an odd look. What was she so happy about? Kres gave a confused little wave, the emotion clear on his face.

Tarii was still feeling the attack of exhaustion so when Audric came in happily and excited it was a bit annoying. She decided to suck it up however, knowing that she didn't want to get into any fights on the very first day. Her head picked itself up, the rays of the dim sunlight radiating through the window her new desk was sat next to, glasses on the table so they would disturb her head resting.
She probably looked like a mess but while she would love to care frankly at this time she didn't really care at all. Luckily the cold chill of the room from the air conditioning was keeping her awake, albeit barely.
"Hello Audric," she commented, yawning quietly from her tired state. "I'm not ready just yet due to lacking sleep but I should be eventually. Give me another day or so," she continued with a weary smile. She didn't know Audric too well since he transferred late into last year but regardless she would try her best to become better acquainted with him this new year.
"How are you two doing though?" She asked, putting on her glasses again. Her contacts were packed today so she couldn't see much of anything without them. "Hope your summer was a little more enjoyable than mine."

Satu walked into the 2B classroom, his slight daydreaming momentarily side tracking him. He instantly saw a blond head that could only be Audrics. He grinned evily. He hadn't seen the boy for a while now and ran over to him, ruffling his well groomed blond hair. Satu couldn't help it really. It was just too easy. "Morning Audric!" he said brightly. Satu hadn't gotten much sleep the night before, mostly because of the jet lag and time zones but the more tired Satu was the more hyper he got. It was good for now but in a few hours he'd be a zombie. "All set for this year?"
Satu then looked around the classroom then, noticing a few other friends. He grinned and waved at Tarii who was a few seats away. "Good morning." he said smiling brightly. It was funny thinking about this time last year, when he had come into the class late, disheveled and flustered. The year had really been good to him.
Satu's accent had a slight mix of Italian in it now from the month he had spent with his relatives. It was strange being back in Japan and speaking a different language again. He was sure he'd slip into Italian if he wasn't careful.
"How were your summers?" he asked before sitting down in the desk beside Audric. He was very happy to be back.

"It's not like I actually need your help, you know, it's just that you're more convenient," he replied, almost defiantly, in fact, walking after his tour guide of sorts, all the while taking glances at the surrounding area. "I mean, they invented calculators for a reason, and there are those computer programs made especially for solving those kinds of things, so I could just use one of those," not that he would waste any money on something like that.
Connor was about to say more, but his train of thought got interrupted when the walk came to a halt and some girl, a senior probably, waved at them. He almost couldn't even be bothered to wave back, but he did regardless, just so he wouldn't seem like a jerk on the first day - or just at the current moment. Feeling particularly curious, he turned to Kres and, completely ignoring the expression on his face, asked, "You know her or something?"

Mitsuko beamed at Takumi, and shook her head. "First person you know, you mean," She corrected, motioning around them, "There are so many new faces! I'm excited to be a second year student!" She was looking forward to meeting some of the new students. Perhaps she and some of her friends could show them around?
She cheerfully allowed herself to be prodded along, poking her head around the corner right after Takumi did. Her bright green eyes lit up upon seeing her friend. She hurried towards her, paused, when she remembered Minori's ankle, and resumed again once she had looked over it and made sure it wasn't too bad. One of the pros of having doctors as parents.
"Minori-chan!" She chirped, hugging her friend rather enthusiastically. "Takumi-kun and I were looking for you!"

"Hell no," said Kres, the look on his face hard to describe without copious use of curse words. Why would he know some girl? The only girl he knew was his sister, and she was a b***h. "Let's just get inside, eh?" He ran one hand through his hair and walked into the appropriate classroom. (Of course, he couldn't pretend he didn't dearly want to go into the wrong room just for kicks).
And, right there, as usual; his seat, near the back. It wasn't as far to the back as usual, he guessed, since there were names like Yamagishi in Japan and all. Connor was in the front. (He snickered.)

It was probably lucky for the two that Minori hadn't noticed their response, distracted by a voice. "Takumi-kun!" She whirled around and smiled at him, waving. "I was just...looking around." She added lamely.
Her ankle had healed considerably well, yet her mother had told her she had canceled ballet classes, and she threw a fit...until her father told her it was to train her for the industry. She was still sulky over it, yet Minori did understand where they were coming from.
"Eep!" Her eyes widened as Mitsuko gave her a sudden hug, then laughed and returned the embrace. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I went to our old classroom." She gave a sheepish smile. It wasn't on purpose though.

((Naomi, I apologize for this taking so long. |: If it happens again, please don't hesitate to PM me.))
Katsuo inwardly scoffed, amused by whatever weird sort of coincedence this was. All he had to do was show her where the classroom was, right? He didn't actually have to go back inside. "No problem." He responded, motioning for her to follow. "I was just there a few minutes ago, so it shouldn't be that hard to find it again. It's not that far; we should be able to make it and still be on time." At least, she would be in class before the bell. He might not be so lucky.
"I'm Arata Katsuo. I'm in class B, like you, but a year ahead." He wasn't used to being anyone's sempai yet, but if it felt anything like the feelings he'd had all day, it wasn't that much different from being a first year. Just much less confusion. Probably more responsibilty, too, but he wasn't paying much attention to that part of the equation.

[[ It is no problem. :3 I wouldn't want to bother you. ]]
Hamako first shuffled to the back to pick up her tote with her companion before following after Katsuo. Her head was bowed as she did so. She was too tired and sleeping where she stood sounded almost like a good idea. It was an odd sight to see. She looked more like a stray dog following after someone who had just given her food rather than a student obtaining help from a sempai. Hamako stared around the halls of the school.
There was definitely a different atmosphere within her new school than her last one. Ouran High seemed to have a...she couldn't put her mind on the word to describe it. Rather, it was a predicament. It was a crispy, refreshing atmosphere of learning. To her, like the feeling of taking your first bite into a piece of lettuce. Well, that was what she thought. As she continued to think to herself on relating Ouran to pieces of greenery, she halted. "Um, T-thank you Arata-Sempai!" she said mid step. She wasn't positive if she had reached her destination yet, but thanking her sempai was the best she would do. "I-I think I can take it from here." she spoke as she pull back out the same paper she had before in her bag.

((No, no, it's fine! I don't want to hold you and Hamako up for weeks at a time just because I won't stop being lazy. emo ))
Katsuo was busy looking at the new occupants of the school, already moving onto the next thought instead of lingering on his first one. As they progressed down the hall, familiar faces turned into unknown ones. The freshman really were flooding in now. He wondered if he'd get to know them or if they'd stay mere faces and names. It was a sad idea, but for most of them, it'd probably be the reality.
His attention snapped back to the girl following him down the hallway. He wouldn't have minded her walking alongside him, but it was easier to navigate through the crowds this way, so he wasn't about to complain. "You sure about that? If you get lost again, there might not be someone else willing to lead you." Sure, she had a map, but he had first-hand experience with that thing -it was hard to use. "What's your name, if I may ask?" He hated how formal that sounded, but it seemed that his parents' lessons were actually rubbing off on him.

[[ Fine. D: ]]
Hamako yipped up. She was still on the thought of lettuce. Besides, her sempai was talking. Might as well listen. "Um...Y-Yes, I am positive! Arata-sempai has already done the most for myself. So I wouldn't want to bother you anymore if you are busy..." she trailed off. She blinked again before speaking. "My name is Hamako. Hamano Hamako." she replied as she scratched her head. She smothered her hair down before tilting her head. Was most of the student in Ouran formal? She wasn't used to formality herself but it seemed like it was.
Before she went to speak again, she closed her mouth before looking at Lucas. She glared at him once more. Apparently, her doll was speaking ill of her sempai. Though the insults were silent and probably only heard by the ears of Hamako herself. "Um, I must apologize sempai. He is quite rude." she said. "But please don't be offended by his words." She spoke openly though. Not really identifying who this "he" was. From the looks of it, it looked like she was talking about no one in particular.

((Hurray, I win~))
Katsuo grinned in an attempt to convince her more that he didn't mind. "Don't worry about it. By this point, I'll probably be late to class regardless of whether I take you all the way there or not." His smile didn't fade as he spoke again. "Well, Hamako-san, if this is really where we part ways, it was a pleasure to meet you." So long as he was going to be a gentleman, he might as well keep going. She seemed to not only be new to the high school, but new to Ouran as a whole. He should give her a good impression of the school on her first day.
"...Who is?" He looked around to see if he had picked up any extra freshman on his way toward the 1B room. But no matter where he looked (and he looked around both of them), he found no such person. To say the least, he was confused by what she was talking about. Maybe some sort of headset was in her ear?

Hamako blinked before putting her finger to her lip. "Oh, that's right!" she said as she pulled Lucas out of her tote. "You haven't met him...have you?" She fixed Lucas' collar as she held him up. "This is him. Lucas. He greeted you before but it was such a nasty greeting it wasn't worth saying. Are you really such a bad person sempai? Lucas thinks so." she said. She glared down at her doll once more. "Quit being so rude," she glared at the doll once more. "Before I have to run home and bring Vivica here." She giggled afterwards.
"Ah, Arata-sempai!" she said. She bowed her head once more before picking it back up. "Thank you once again for your help! It is much appreciated." she said with a smile. She darted towards the other way. "Hope to see you again!" she added once more before lightly waving.
