OMG I just thought of something (that I think is) cute! X3 We can use old school RPG graphics as thread title deco! *goes to look for gems and crystals and rupees* Meriko [edit] Okay, so my original idea didn't pan out. XD But I played with a random crystal icon I found (possibly from RO?) and made this: I've used plain dividers in threads before ( bridal shower art contest) and then just used colored text for headers and I rather liked the simplicity. :3 Cornflower blue might work well to match the color of the divider. What do you guys think?

Meri: *shrugs* I'm sure we all do have different taste in artists. I can't speak for everyone, but I wouldn't have my feelings hurt if I had "less" funds because the artist(s) I like are cheaper.
I have a few artists bookmarked becaue I like their style, not 'caue I'm actually hopeful of getting art from them. I don't have many though 'cause I don't comission a lot of art. Most of the artist I know are because I know them as friends on Gaia, not 'cause I've stalked them as artists.
I'll have to try and figure out specifics, that aren't listed in her bio post.
I would love an actual sketch of her.
I thought that you were offering to add everyone to the line up. I thought that was why you brought it up. ^^; I certaily won't be sketching her myself.
And I do think that group art would be nice. Especially if we could do something like Vin did with the beach... ya know so that there are all individual pictures, but they are all together in a group shot.
I think use the mule to make all the posts. Not everyone needs the PW, but if we have a few of us that can update the posts, people can add there info in here and we can just copy/paste to the request thread.
*recolors the text I was working on and plays around with it a bit*

Okay so the mule is so we can go on and edit our posts in this new thread so we can put what we need?
I'm still a bit confused about everything but...overall I think I understand most of it.
I'll also draw the characters for free if anyone wants. I'm not as good as anyone else but I'd certainly like to draw the characters.
I love the lineup idea...but would our Characters all be in the same pose or a pose that would reflect more their personality?

Taylor: The lineup is basically to give relative heights and a good look at their costumes. Height is important for group pictures. ^^ So everyone's in the same unnatural pose and wearing the outfit that you mainly want them drawn in. Alternate outfits (for instance Merro's stolen clothing) and expressions (none for Letalus *snicker*) and little details (like Letalus' neck mark that you can't see from the front) can be left for other pictures that you put in your own post, where you have more reference pictures of your character.
I actually think having everyone make their own posts might work out a little bit better than having the mule make all posts, since then it's just a shade clearer who owns which character and therefore who the trade should go to and such things. One thing is, I want to keep the mule empty of valuables and gold. With a generic free e-mail service (although not so hackable as hotmail or yahoo so far as I know) and so many people having the password I'd rather everyone did their own trading and remained in control of their portion of the funds.

We can add information in the post as to who owns the character and even add PM/trade buttons to the posts. To make it clear who owns the character. We don't have to keep valuables on the mule. Oh, and if that's the case. I tekteked what I think is a cute mule:
Should I just "ghost" the items on her so that nothing valuabe is there?
The inventory update doesn't seem to allow for ghosting.
I bought the 3rd gen book just for this outfit so I don't mind sending that over if others want to send other parts of the outfit over.
Also as for the mule making all the posts then we don't have to worry about adding more people in later.

I know it's generally easier for request threads that's shared by a group of people to just use a mule account. And to signify who owns what character, you can always put something to the effect of just (c) Gaia Username by the character's name or such.

Okay, back! XD Yes, I was thinking about it at work and I realized that using the mule for all the posts would be better in case we added people later on. Then we could just shuffle post contents around.
And cute! *pets the mule* I've got the blouse, skirt and cincher so I'll send those over to her in a bit. ^^
Once I get the details and finish Merro and Letalus up I'll put Sentelle into the lineup as well.
Ou, and Konami, for Letalus does how I drew him in the most recent sketch work for the lineup or is there anything you'd like me to change?

I had also bought the galoshes for the mule's outfit and I picked up an extra pair of glasses to send over. So to complete the outfit we just need an Angel Imp Plushie (MarketPlace) and the Gold Prince's Rapier (MarketPlace).
*points to sig*
I have the first 15 posts made. Do we need the second page reserved as well? I can't think why we would but... *shrug*

OMG those banners are be-YEW-tiful. @_@ I love the colors so much! And that font is tres cool. Reminds me of Lord of the Rings somehow...that W... *pets it with clean cotton gloves*
For mine, I am planning to put in reference pictures, some pertinent descriptions and information, my current art wishes, and current fund information. Basically...what would an artist who's looking to pick up a commission need to know? :3
[edit] I can't imagine the RP getting so large that we'd need the second page too...and then even if it did, we could probably just start doubling up in posts so that all the info's still on the first page, ya?
