"I know." Kikyo said, still looking at the menu, as Ichiruka put her food down in front of her. "Maybe they just don't count the people in each village every month or so. Thank, Sir." She added, bowing her head at Ichiruka.

A dark-haired kinoichi made her way down the semi-busy streets of Konoha, glancing around her every so often. She didn't want to see one of those Akatsuki members to see her. They would, no doubt, recognize her.
Sighing inwardly, she entered the ramen bar titled Ichiraku's, and slipped quietly into a seat beside Sakura. These girls were too much for her, yet she still put up with them.
Mai looked at the menu, and quietly ordered a bowl of pork ramen. Mai listened to her team mates conversation, though deciding against putitng in some input. She would rather not.

Sakura nodded to Mai, recognizing that she was there, but chose not to say anything. Its probably not safe to say her name in public, anyway. We don't want the Akatsuki getting a hold of her.
She turned back to Kikyo. "I guess not. But not all of the people are sneaking in. They're bound to notice some of them.
Kimiko stared out the window. I can't believe its still sunny. It feels like the world is ending to me. She sighed to herself, and sat down away from the window. She was stuck inside until they found her a team. It was safer that way. It was better if the Akatsuki didn't know she was alive until it was too late.

"Maybe." Kikyo agreed. "But, maybe they won't notice some of them if they go by a different name and they change their appearances a little. But, if the Akatsuki are able to take over the nations, then who knows."

"Kya!" Kimmi exclaimed as she tossed nine shirican into a target across the roof. they all hit the mark, and from were she stood they were all with in a centimeter of the pin point targets. She ran up to the target and frowned one of the shurican was not touching the pin point. She took her weapons from the board and ran back to were she had been.
“Kya!” she threw them again and once more she went to examine the target this time it was perfect. She sighed and jumped from the roof to land on the main road.

"Well, I guess it means the Akatsuki isn't as smart as we thought they were." Sakura laughed, and dug into her food.
"Kimiko? We found you some teammates. I'm taking you to meet them."
Kimiko glanced up at the man in the door, and smiled. "Hai!" I can finally get out of this room.
She stood up, and followed the man -whose name she had never learned- out of the house, and into the sunlight.

"Don't under estimate them." Kikyo said. "I may dislike them, but I do know when it is best to stay on their good side." she took a set of chopsticks and took a bit of her ramen.
Kanah stood outside. She was waiting to meet her new team mates, as the sun shined brightly on her back. Today is beautiful, and I'm hating it! She thought, watching the clouds overhead.

Katsu walked down the street following the man that had come to his apartment.The man stooped next to Kanah and motioned toward her.Katsu nodded and turned toward Kanah,"Hi.I'm Katsu." he put out his hand.

Sakura sighed. "I suppose we have to stay on their good side. I have to admit I'm afraid to know what will happen if we don't."
"Over there." The man pointed to a girl and boy about Kimiko's age. "Your teammates."
Kimiko nodded, and bowed to the man. She headed over to greet the other two.

"Hi, I'm Kanah." Kanah said with a smile. She looked at Kimiko and waved.
"Hi."
"I'm more curious than afraid about what their punishments are." Kikyo said, looking at Sakura.

Kimiko smiled, and bowed politely to the other two. "I'm Kimiko. Kimiko Matuke," she said quietly.
"I guess that's where you're different than me. I'd rather not be punished, personally. I mean, I could deal with it. I am a shinobi. But I'd rather avoid pointless pain." Sakura ate some more of her ramen, frowning slightly.

"I'd rather avoid it too." Kikyo said, eating another bite of ramen. "But I'm still curious about what they are." She frowned into her ramen, as she started to think of what the punishments could be.

Mai decided to finally say something, after taking a bite of her ramen.
"All you guys do is talk about the Akatsuki. You don't know what it's like to actually see them kill people right before your eyes. You don't know the pain they cause. To be hunted by them, day after day. To wonder if someone you care about is alive, or dead...." Mai sighed, though it was almost unaudible.
"You don't know." Her voice was cold.

"Where's our sensei?" Kimiko asked, looking around. It wasn't safe for her to be out on the street. It probably wasn't safe for the other two, either.
Sakura looked at Mai, and sighed.
"You're right. We don't. But I guarantee you we will soon. And its not like none of our love ones have died. No one has it better than anyone else in this situation."
