"I dunno how my family feels about clumsiness," she said with honestly. She was just careful mostly so she didn't mess up ehr wings. The rest of ehr was much mroe sturdy, so why was she worried about those? She ahd to question herself a little now - was she doing something different or wrong maybe?
"I notice things and tend to go to them, instead of keeping moving because it usually makes me want to get closer." She made a slight face while she thought. "Distraction usually means you're using your senses though - since they're what catch things. I think - it would make sense to me. Maybe the senses each get attracted to something and that makes distraction?"
This certainly was a different sort of conversation for her, and to her it was a bit deep to dwell on. She never gave most things a second thought - and here she was with a Kalona thinking about these things.

Quiandiah continued to say very intelligent things, and it was that kind of thinking that Mercy always envied herself. This was actually the most Mercy had ever really thought before, and since meeting this flutter Mercy never really tried to use her brain power. Today it felt nice to explore her mind a bit, but she had to admit, sometimes she was very confused internally! She wasn't the smartest of mares but she still tried little by little to be smarter!
"Either way, your statement definitely makes me consider how important distractions may be." So really, she should be thanking anything that tore her attention away if even for a moment. "Like, maybe you wouldn't have come over here if I hadn't distracted you! And then I couldn't have met you. So really, I am totally thankful." She bounced her head happily in a nod before smiling kindly towards the flutter.
"So lately my parents have been asking me this strange question... so I'll ask you! Do you have any plans for your future and stuff? Maybe I am trying to learn what that really means, I don't know! But I don't know if I have any hopes or dreams.. so do you?" Ha, maybe she could get some ideas from her friend at least!
