While outside, Magnus heard a few loud bangs and turned his attention to the source. Immediately, his purple eyes sparkled. "Beach party? Hell yes. Texas, I'm going."
Texas didn't like the glint in Magnus's eyes. While he thought the boy had been terrible as a child, Magnus had only gotten worse. "And so am I."
"Aww, come on!" Texas was the only person that Magnus wouldn't throw a total temper tantrum at, but he would pout and cross his arms over his chest like a baby. Despite the ridiculous puppy dog eyes, Magnus's efforts were futile. "And don't say 'Someone's got to keep you in line,' 'cause I already know it's coming." Texas quirked a brow and smirked. Unfortunately for Magnus, the smirk was enough to grate on his nerves. "Okay, fine!!"
Victorious, Texas headed off towards the fireworks in the sky, a reluctant Magnus not too far behind. Texas didn't exactly count on seeing anyone he knew and, in a way, he hoped he didn't see anyone he knew. His main concern, though, was making sure that Magnus didn't intoxicate everyone by the end of the party...
Aysu was busy taking a soak in her favorite swimming pool when the fireworks caught her attention. The naiad swam to the surface to get a better look at what they said, grinning when she saw 'beach' and 'party' in the same sentence. While warmth wasn't her favorite thing, she had always liked water, and any place near the water was a favorite in her book. Aysu slipped out of the water after her legs formed and headed towards the source of the fireworks. It could be fun. Maybe she would see Noel or Cinna there... though neither of them were that fond of heat.
It was worth hoping for, in any case.

Upon seeing the bracelet, all of its value to him had changed. He loved that bracelet greatly, but he had changed since the masquerade. "I want you to have it," he said, pushing back the hand holding the gold chain. "It will look better on you. And every time you look at it, you can think of me."
"So, is there anything you have planned for the rest of this party?" Maybe there was more dancing that they could do. And perhaps when the night was over.... "Maybe after this, we could finally have that date I promised you at the masquerade."

Cinna was sitting outside of the cave when she saw the fireworks. "Mama, look!" She wasn't sure Noel would want to go, but Cinna wanted to go and mingle.
Noel heard Cinna's voice and looked at the fireworks, "I suppose you want to go?" Noel giggled as Cinna nodded at her. "Ok, but I need a few things first." Noel hadn't enjoyed the summer so far, it was far too hot. Noel put on sunblock, shades and a big sun hat. "Let's go."
"Yay!" She grabbed her mother's hands and basically dragged her to the beach. Her eyes lit up as she saw the decorations, paes and the band. "Wow!"
"Wow, is right." She then saw Aysu and her heart started to skip. She shyly walked over to her and placed her hand on Aysu's shoulder, "Hi."

Jazz took the bracelet and smiled. "Well, thank you very much." She then put it on her wrist. It looked very nice with her few others and on the arm warmers.
"I think Hula Bob wants to do a limbo or something. I'm not too sure. He is kinda spur of the moment." Jazz chuckled and looked to Bob talking to Ivy and Sally. "Really? Well, I'm up for that." She smiled at him.
"Yeah, it was not too long ago. I'm pretty old now, but not really. You're as old or young as you feel!" Hula Bob chuckled.

Aysu took in a deep breath of the warm beach air and let it out. Even if she was more inclined towards cool temperatures, she had to admit that the beach was nice. She was just about to walk further into the party when she felt a tap on her shoulder and nearly jumped a foot into the air. Of course, she quickly calmed when she noticed just whose hand was on her shoulder.
Immediately, her eyes brightened and she turned around to hug the other Pae'il close. "Noel!" After realizing that it was hot and such close contact would probably make her beloved Noel hotter, Aysu chuckled sheepishly and let go. "Don't want to make you too hot."
Magnus wasn't going to let Texas ruin all of his fun. With Texas there watching like a hawk, he probably couldn't sneak off to do anything of interest. ...Well, maybe there was something he could do to amuse himself and get Texas off his back in one swoop. "Hey, Texy, you lonely?"
The demonic adult didn't like where this was going. "Even if I am, what does it matter to you?" Internally, Texas knew this was probably some kind of ploy, but he could play along.
The wheels spun all too quickly in the faerie teenager's head. The troublesome one grinned widely. "A lot, 'cause you're my favorite brother, Texy!" That wasn't a lie. "So, 'cause this is a party with a lot of people, I'm going to find you a love!" Texas opened his mouth to argue, but Magnus placed a finger over his lips to shush him. "Come on, Texy."
And so, Texas gave up. ...Even if he was a bit scared of the way Magnus grabbed his hand and moved enthusiastically into the fray.

Noel smiled and blushed at the hug. Her warmth never hurt her. She enjoyed it. "It's not too bad if you are the reason." She giggled and grabbed Aysu's hand. "It's pretty here, huh?" She had never been down to the lake when it wasn't frozen.
Cinna smiled at the couple and wen to the food table. She picked out the sweetest things to eat and then wondered what she should do next.
Haru drank a bit and swayed his hips to the music. Maybe he should go dance? Haru didn't need a partner persay. Haru walked onto the dancefloor and started to dance all by himself.

Sally continued to blush, that really hadn't been her best first impression. "Happy Birthday then!" she exclaimed. "And isn't that the truth! Though all these children that I seem to keep adopting are starting to make me feel a bit grandmotherish!" Sally chuckled, looking down at Reese and tapping her finger on his nose. Reese giggled happily and tried catching her fingers calling out "mahmah!"
Asrai was just as happy to see her and he couldn't help the smile breaking out on his face when he heard her called him 'Rai. It just felt so...right. He pulled back to get a better look at her. "'Qua, you're even prettier now if that's possible. I've missed you so much!"
"I've been doing good" Rosie replied happily. "Bored out of my mind with gardening and babysitting but other than that, good. How have you been?!? I'm sorry I had to leave so suddenly at the Halloween party!"
Lhia saw the fireworks and slithered through the shadows to the party. She'd never been to a party before. Most of her encounters with other pae had not gone very well. She was starting to think perhaps she should just stay away from people. But she was curious and well...hungry. Berries and mushrooms were good every now and then but not all that satisfying. It couldn't be a party without food right? Her stomach rumbled as she approached the gathering, hiding behind a tree while scooping out the party. Spying a table laden with foods she made her way over and starting gobbling everything she could get her hands on.

Kaelia saw some many beginning to surround the punch and food that she too wandered over. Luau LuLu had told her to mingle and make friends. Of course that wasn't easy for the demon. She hadnt' really been around them much growing up.
The band: Jet, Zoe and Luau LuLu, continued to play.
"Thanks. Well, you don't look like a grandma. I guess I don't looke like a Great or is it Great Great now?" Hula Bob stopped to think for a moment. Luau LuLu and Regan had Tiki Jim who had Waikiki KiKi and Waikiki Keanu... "Just Great Grandpa. Great is close to Awesome!"
"That's alright Rosie. I understand. Things happen. I've been good. Visiting my brother's family and staying with my mom. It's a nice change." He nodded. He was glad to get back with them.

Aquamarine smiled back to reflect his smile. "Well, so are you." She giggled and then nodded, "I missed you alot too. It's been lonely swimming by myself." She was so happy to see him again.

(Finally posted instead of continuing my lameness.)
While Hyacinthus certainly didn't mind spontaneity, he was floundering a little because he couldn't quite think of what to do next. He still had to show Jazz that he wasn't completely inept at holding a conversation. If he blew his chance this time, she might get tired of him and go away. What would he do then? His little sister Ebby already was getting tired of listening to him moon over Jazz. And Tristen. And Haru. And anyone else who gave him more than five minutes of attention.
"I'm a little hungry," he lied because he couldn't think of a better way to transition to another topic. Beckoning her to follow if she hadn't done it already, he said, "I hope you don't mind me asking what you've been up to." Hopefully, she hadn't found someone else.

Jazz smiled. "Well, if you are hungry then you came to the right place." She noticed that there was a group gathering around the food. The elder nodded as she walked over. "Hula Bob has out his best food for this."
Jazz walked slowly followeing Hyacinthus. "Me? Well, not much really. Just working and hanging with my family. What have you been up to?"

Aysu offered a smile in turn to Noel. "Well, if you say so." If the warmth wasn't bad when she was the reason, Aysu would just get a little closer to her. She squeezed the snowy one's hand and glanced out at the water. She liked just to watch the waves crash upon the shores, and admittedly, dazed out for a few moments with a goofy smile on her face.
Noel's voice brought her back to the sands. "Oh, what?" She chuckled, nodding. "It's beautiful out here. It's a bit warm, but I love the scenery, so it certainly makes up for that..."
While Magnus glanced out into the crowd, he caught sight of the man who was dancing with himself in the middle of the fray. "Go up to the fool that's dancing with himself and give him something to dance with. That'd be fun, right?"
Texas rolled his eyes. "No, no." He took a closer look at the pink nymph. "Besides, I already know that guy. Haru, I think his name is. He's a friend of Cinthy's." Why did everything lead back to Cinthy? Couldn't he get away at this party? Hyacinthus was obsessed with that Jazz character anyway...
It was rare when Magnus blushed, but today a rosy color painted the purple fae's cheeks. "Oh, 'm sorry, Texy." He sounded sincere, and the ashamed tone would sound odd to anyone who knew him even in the slightests. "Let's keep looking around, then..."

Noel smiled and nodded, "So, what do you want to do? We could eat or dance or whatever you wish!" Noel was so happy Aysu was here with her it made braving the heat bareable.
((Haru now has to talk to Pete and Mangus! lol))
Haru was dancing away when he felt eyes on him, a feeling he absolutely loved! He then spotted Texas Pete and a fae boy. Now, he was intrigued. Haru wandered over and smiled, "Hello Pete and fae."

Aysu giggled at the suggestion of dancing. She didn't want to make Noel any warmer than she probably already felt in this heat, and dancing would certainly make Noel warmer. "Eating sounds good. I wonder what they serve here?" The naiad giggled again. She sniffed the air to figure out where they were serving the food, and then gently pulled Noel in that direction.
Wait, Haru was walking over. Texas sighed under his breath. Damn it.
As soon as Magnus heard the unfamiliar voice, he went from an ashamed expression to a confident swagger in under a second. He offered his hand to Haru and gained a charming smile. "Ah, I'm afraid you don't look too familiar. You may call me Magnus Vis." His voice was smooth and inviting, and it seemed the fae of intoxication wasn't trying all that hard.
...However, Texas was there to keep him from acting that way. Ignoring Haru briefly, he shoved his heel into his brother's foot. When Magnus' charm broke and he decided to tend to his foot instead, Texas turned to Haru. "Nice to see you again, Haru." Except not really.

Noel went with Aysu as she pulled her to the food table. She looked until she spotted something cold, a coconut freezer! "Oh, that looks good!" She grabbed one and took a sip, which instantly cooled her off. "Yes, that is good. What are you going to have?" She asked as she sipped the frozen drink.
Haru smiled, "Nice to meet you Magnus Vis. I am Haru." He shook the hand back. He liked this pae, he seemed charming, which Haru liked. He was one for charming things.
"It's nice to see you too, Pete. How are you?" He looked around the party and saw Hyacinthus with a gemale elder and knew Pete wasn't happy. "Don't worry, Cinthy will come over eventually. He always does."
