Gen 1: Charizard and Zapdos. Nidoking also gets a slot because I could sweep through the Elite Four with one back in Gen 1. As they did not have Levitate back then, Agatha's ghosts had no chance.

Gen 2: Typhlosion, Sneasel and Lugia.

Gen 3: Blaziken and Zangoose. Shiny he may not be, but Slasher means more to me than any legend or shiny in this whole world. I've kept him around since Ruby version, and as long as there are ways to trade between generations, he will go all the way, collecting ribbons, catching pokemon, and generally kicking major @$$. biggrin

Gen 4: Infernape, Darkrai, Giratina, and Froslass. Vexina is seriously fast and packs one mean Ice Punch.

And once Gen 5 arrives, we'll all be able to ad more favorites. I like Zoroark and Zekrom already, but then again I have a thing for Dark types. biggrin

Celebi! Hands down! That and Blaziken, but Celebi is still awesomer! (its a word!) But for battling I would have to say Kyogre, because that thing can be nearly unstoppable!
