"Fair enough but please just call me Bubbles. Miss sounds too formal." Bubbles swam behind him, watching all the fish and other creatures swim around them and enjoying the scenery. The ocean really was a beautiful place, she couldn't deny that fact. Beauty was reason enough to be happy to live down here.
She noticed all the holes in the side of the rock and then noticed the large caves. There were so many! "Wow! These are perfect!" she shouted with glee as she picked the biggest one she could see and swam inside of it. It was pretty dark but maybe if she found some glowing fish to move in it could be a perfect place to sleep at night. "How'd you find these?" she asked as her head popped out of the cave entrance.

"Of course Mi...Bubbles." Zuriel watched as she exclaimed and went towards the caves, a bit proud that she liked one of his favorite spots. He was like a mother with a clean house in some aspects. He swam up to the cave entrance.
"Oh well I don't have much to do most days," he shrugged. "I've explored quite a bit of the ocean around here. My favorite thing about these caves is there doesn't seem to be any eels about." He shuddered, "I hate eels."

"Well that's a relief, eels can be nasty little buggers. I've been taken by surprise by a few of them since they just pop out of every crack and crevice." Bubbles shivered a bit thinking about those wiggly creepy looking things. "These caves are marvelous though. Very roomy. How come you don't live in here? This is like the perfect home away from home! ...Or just a home." She giggled.

"They are quite comfortable," he agreed willingly. "And in truth they are the perfect place to settle down. But to put it simply I just wander around too much. There's no one else here unless they are just passing through so it gets boring to stay in one place too long. Whenever I'm near here though this is where I say. If you're going to stay for a little bit you are more than welcome to use any cave you like, it'd be a pleasure to have someone to talk to."

"I'd love to stay here!" Bubbles settled on the bottom of the elevated cave with her legs crossed over each other as they hung over the side. "I tend to explore a bit too but honestly, I don't go very far. I love staying by the shore, there's always something exciting happening...well most of the time. Plus I traveled a long way from the middle of the ocean to get here." Her journey took a long time and it turned out to be worth while. Her goal was to find out if she was the only one of her kind and make new friends and that's what she's done. To her, this place was perfect.

He continued floating in front of her. "Well there is plenty of ocean to go around. I haven't actually been that far away from the shoreline though. Is it that different out in the middle of the ocean?" He asked her curiously. Some day he might have to venture out there to check it out.

"It's very different. You'd have to stay relatively close to the surface to get a decent amount of light and if you want to go to the bottom, you can't see your own nose in front of your face! Plus there's some nasty creatures down near the bottom. But here it's so colorful and bright and definitely full of life. Plus there's the land walkers that are oh so interesting. I'd choose here over there anyday. Don't let me discourage you though, it's your adventure, you should enjoy yourself," she nodded with a smile as her tail swished back and forth in the cave. Maybe she only saw the bad parts of where she used to live because she'd been there so long. Maybe he could find the good parts that were out there. Or she was right and it just sucked altogether to be out there.

As she described the dark and dismal place Zuriel's enthusiasm about going to visit dropped. "Well," he mused, "I think I'd still like to go see it at least once, so I would know what it was like. But I won't go too far out of my way. And I must agree with you, the land walkers are interesting. I've even met one that doesn't talk."

Bubbles nodded in agreement. "Sure, of course. You'll have to tell me what you think of it though when you do. I'd like another opinion just to see if it's me or if it actually is the ocean in that area." She wiggled around a bit in the cave before swimming out and back to his side. "I've met some interesting characters too. One that was really tiny too, she knew a lot of stuff. Anyway what's another of your favorite places?"

Zuriel shuddered. "I met a small one once, the mute one. Things didn't work out so well. If you don't mind following me again there's another place I like to stay, its not as amazing as this group of caves but its pretty nice." He swam a little ways away, making sure she would follow before continuing on.

"Yeah well not everyone is nice or friendly so sometimes that happens." Bubbles swam after him and enjoyed the trip as much as possible, looking at all the fish and colorful formations of coral that passed as the went. "Those caves were pretty amazing but I think if you found something full of rainbows of color it might be more amazing then some holes in the rocks," she nodded with a smiled and a little giggle. Colors always caught her attention first and foremost for some reason, most likely because they stuck out like a neon sign in the dark ocean waters.

Zuriel smiled over his shoulder at her. "Then you might like this one." He swam a bit farther before turning, following the rocks into a natural curve. The entrance was several feet across but after entering it it widened out a bit. The bottom was heavily dotted with groups of coral and anemones, and small fish were darting in and out of their homes. There were a few small caves, but against the back of the peaceful little place was a decent sized cave.
He turned to her "I like to stay here a lot, its pretty peaceful. Its a bit too enclosed though sometimes."

Bubbles' jaw dropped and she imediately swam into the space, looking at all the colors and all the fish that were swimming around. "It's so pretty! I love it! I changed my mind, I wanna stay here!" With a giggle she darted into the farthest cave in the back. It was so perfect here, hopefully she wasn't taking it away from him. She really wanted the area as a home but he was here first and wouldn't intrude if he didn't want her to. "Unless this is your home," she said as her head popped out of the cave. "In which case I'll definitely go back to the cave we were at earlier. I don't want to intrude on your space."

Zuriel liked seeing others happy, when he wasn't messing things up due to his usual confusion he rather enjoyed helping others. And at least this was something straightforward enough that even he knew what to do.
With a smile he shook his head slowly, "like I said I tend to wander around, you are more than welcome to stay here if you like, I don't own it here. I may have to come visit you a little if you do stay here though, I'd miss it too much to just leave it for good."

"Oh of course! I'd love for you to visit! You're probably one of the greatest friends I've made in our own kind. What's that saying, mi casa es su casa?" she giggled. "Plus you found it first so you kinda have first dibs. But you're not leaving right now, are you?" she asked as she swam up to him. "I know you said you only had two places to show me but I like spending time with you. I'm sure we can find something fun to do," she said with a smile.
