I say, why even let religion become a part of the picture? I like to keep things simple. My religion is universalism. It is life, it's not about who people believe or dont believe.
its more a matter of, does the relgion make you act like a p***k towards me or not?
if not, i don't really care what you follow.
Now, when pagans get superficial and brainwashed about their own religions i think they become just as bad as the christians that feel so unrightly superior because they're with their religion.
it's the same action. It's the same my d**k is bigger than your d**k because my religion is cooler than yours attitude. Which i dont think anyone should follow that attitude. That, defines being a p***k because of your religion.
Then satanists complain about this and the youthful ones then act just as bad rolleyes
when you lose your temper too easy or let your ego turn you into a p***k, then its the same thing. I've seen two types of satanists on the net. you have those that are chill about it. they dont really care if other people like what they follow. you talk to those people, they are nice and polite.
those people are alright. then you have those who let their youthful pride and arrogance drive their delving into satanic fantasies. Yeah, letting pride and arrogance rule your thinking is a real good way to go in following religions. rofl
The lazy persons's answer: As long as your beliefs dont present me a problem, i don't care what you believe.

I really don't know what my religion is. Right now all I know is I'm psychic.I used to be christian but starting about 4 or 5 years ago I decided I really didn't want to be. I started questioning things. According to my church, if you were psychic in any way, you were a witch and it was a sin. I could never tell anyone. I only joked about it but I still practiced it and kept it going. I had to hide it. Any time I even partially brought it up my mother would try to snuff out the idea that I had any kind of powers even though she has them too. (She has precognitive dreams.I don't know what else.) Now I practice it openly. It has become part of my every day life.

Hmm...being one that follows the traditions of the hollow hill and the crooked path I would not say paranormal as they things are around us all the time we are just not aware of it all the time unless we wish to be or it is too big to force out of our mortal minds. I think that my faith has taught me to appreciate the things I feel more than I used to, not to think that every dark entity has a dark purpose.
That is not to say that dark entities are dangerous of course, some may yet be very dangerous, but paranormal? No, they are perfectly normal, they are just outside our field of awareness.

my "religion" is the same as my craft, (necromancy) as i have met some gods in my travels and they all deserve worship (aside from shub-niggurath) the highest one of which is Marduk. However the easiest god to commune with is Nyarlathotep, however if he is gazing at the tainted stars i emplore you stay far away from him as he will strike you down without hesitation, but thats one of the pirces of worshipping gods, they forget easily as they are ancient.
And yes, it does effect my belief of the paranormal as there is no other way to describe a "god" as just that, plus i have seen many a demon, spirit, and djinns. So in my opinion, religion has a huge effect on your beliefs
