Internally, Calum winced when Syd pressed his injured fingers. Though his own fingers were fine, his mind conjured up a dull pain in them at just witnessing the act. But on the outside his face was unchanging. "You should get those fingers looked at by a doctor sometime in the near future."

Sydney shrugged, "They'll get better on their own...right? Every thing gets better on its own...right? Plus, there isn't a doctor in namiah..." He sighed, looking down to his hand, and then his violin. It occured to him, just then, hat those fingers would possibly never be like they used to, what if his nerve damaged was so bad that he wouldn't be able to feel in them. It didn't nescarily mean his skill on the violin would fail, but things like the guitar and piano, you needed to feel around in order to play without looking. Though it didn't mean at all that his musical career was going to end, it saddened him to think about it.

"No doctor?" disbelief laced Calum's voice. Why the hell wouldn't there be a doctore or something on this island? They got sick and injured here just as others did in the world. Did the people here just not care?
He shook his head, banishing the thoughts till a later time. Instead he chose to answer Syd's first questions. Even though he wasn't sure if Syd was actually looking for answers. "They could get better on their own, or they might not. Not everything gets better on its own. In fact most things don't."
Unbidden, a hand slipper out of his pocket and ran over wound on his side.

"Yeah...theres a girl that'll help you with a first aid kit...but as far as doctors I haven't seen one..." He shrugged again, wincing as he felt pain in his shoulders. "Oh well...we'll see what happens with this..." He looked up to Calum, "Perhaps I'll find someone who can help...but until then, I'll just deal."

Calum noted the wince and frowned. "Are your shoulders, or your back, injured as well?"
His hand began to twitch, his claws having grown to deadly point while in his pocket. He quickly shoved it back in his pocket, hoping that Syd had not seen them. His body was preparing for the full moon that would shine in the sky tomorrow. Yearning for the hunt.

Syd's ears flattened back, and he hesitated. Well, all the blood couldn't be just from his hand, and, true, there were other injuries, like the one on his shoulder, had been rehashed from running into a tree, or at least thats what he thought, the truth was that he was tripping on whatever drug during the night, and when he came to, he had the wounds. He nodded, "Yeah..." He said, still looking up, avoiding looking anywhere but there or his violin, mad at the girl, for leading him all the way out here.

"Not that it's any of my business, but how'd you come to be in such a condition?" Curioustiy poked at the back of Calum's mind, and he could never ignore it. It was one of his many faults.
His gaze bounced between Syd and the woods. Refusing to look up at the moon that's near fullness seemed to mock him.

"You know...I really don't know." He sighed, "I only know how I hurt my fingers..." He sighed, fidgeting a little before sighing, seeing some movement behind Calum as the little girl let out a gasp and ran away. He frowned a little, feeling a sense of urgency bubble up through him, he felt the need to follow her, but he couldn't, for he knew Calum didn't see her and he didn't need to seem weirder than he already was. "You know...first thing, I was just walking through the forest and next thing I know I was here."

"Lost time, always a pain." Calum fought the urge to rock on the heels of his feet. He felt the need to move as vent some of this excess energy that was steadily building up. He pegged it as another side effect of the full moon's approach. "Do you know where is it you want to go yet?"

He nodded, "Indeed..." He knew how it felt, it happened often. What if something good had happened, what if it was something he would never forget and cherish, and he didn't even know it had happened. He fidgeted, more, soon standing up, still a little shaky. He didn't look at Calum, though, but to the ground, "I don't know..." He thought for a moment, perhaps he should go home, where he could get cleaned up, maybe eat something...but then again, other namrah would probaly be there, asking what the hell happened. He sighed, "Anywhere but here."

"Anywhere but here huh? I hear that Switzerland is rather nice this time of year." Calum couldn't help the small joke, his small attempt at trying to chase away the darkness. It seemed to be calling to him now. The sound of the leaves ruslting turned into whispers in his ears. Whispers for him to come on play. And not far off, he could the heart beat of another animal, a deer perhaps.

Syd laughed slightly, "No, mate...Sweds are too competitive...they beat Brits up." He sighed, he was fibbing, of course, he didn't have a problem with the Swiss and was sure they didn't have a problem with the British. He rocked a little, carrying his violin and bow in his left hand, trying to think of a place to go.

Calum had a smart a** comment on the tip of his tongue, but swallowed it before it could escape. He had been spending to much time with Kurai. "You could always just start walking and see where your feet take you."
He didn't care where they went, he just needed to move. His tail started to twitch to vent a little bit of his steadily building energy.

Syd nodded, "Righto then..." He said, feeling his energy slowly come back. Perhaps it was because the company of someone lifted his spirits, no matter who. It always happened. He seemed to brighten up quickly. He looked around, wondering which way they should go. Soon, he saw the girl, Dreville, off in the distance. He decided to follow her, "How about this way..." He said, starting to walk.

Calum fell into step beside Syd, his tail swishing behind him. It felt good to finaly be moving. His hands twitched in his pockets as he resisted the urge to run. Wanting to feel the wind against his face and the freedom that came with it.
He searched his mind for something to say, but couldn't realign his thoughts that were beginning to jumble together.
