Ladies and gentlemen of the Literate Yuri and Shoujo-ai Guild, you asked for it, you got it - a brand shiny new official chat thread, this time with an onsen setting, as you requested.
Feel free to soak in our wonderful hot springs and chat while the minerals and heat soothe your body and feed your skin. The baths are separated into three sections, for men-only, women-only and a mixed bath. Even if you go into one of the single-sex baths, you can still talk with everyone else through the dividing bamboo fence.
Remember, this is not a roleplay, it is a chat thread......... but it is a chat thread with a setting we can have some fun with. Enjoy! biggrin

Not bad, if i do say so myself. ^_^ i might find more onsen pics for the intro posts, i think, but otherwise it's all good.
If anyone needs me, you can always find me soakin in the mixed bath, with a cold beer, a cool cloth over my eyes and some sweet tunes playin. ^_^
In fact, screw standin by the entrance to greet people. ^_^; *goes inside, gets cleaned up, and heads straight for the hot spring*
Aaaahhhh, this was a sweeeeeet idea... *melts*

-strolls up, and past Saria- I'm with Anna hon, I'm gonna go soak instead of standing about greeting people..
-goes inside and cleans up, not even bothering with a towel heading for the mix baths, struting her stuff-

*Ichigo enters the onsen, gets cleaned up and heads for the mix bath. She sort of oozes into the spring water* Ahhhh, so nice and warm!
((i too wish for a real 'onsen'.. by the way, what exactly does onsen mean? is it just a hot spring? If so then i Deffinately wish it were real! I'm freezing right now *picture of a girl in a BIG-A** icecube*))

Here you don't play a role. You just be yourself. We could just have a chat thread where people just "talk". But it's more fun to have a *place* to talk where you can do stuff and have fun with the setting a little bit. *some bubbles come up between anna and katharin* That was her. *points to katharin* Also, cause there is no "in character", there is no need for ((out of character)) stuff. So how many RPs are upcoming now? Saria has Dream Weaver and the All Good Things Project. Astareal has the Fruits Basket one and the school one that will probly restart soon. Katharin has one planned. i got Foxfire and either Polaris or Space Between. We got enough active people to cover all of that? Mine aren't gonna be in the guild, so that's not a problem, but what about all the rest?

Oh dear, so sad. And i was *just* about to finish off those pics for Sa so she can start Far Cry. But now, i've been insulted and have no more motivation. So i guess all you folks waitin for Far Cry will just have to wait a bit longer.

Yes, but if you want to be really technical, roleplaying is free-form theatre with the players acting roles in the play - which is always different from just being yourself, even if you have based your character on yourself. xd *Saria goes cross-eyed from all the reading about the structure, science and history of roleplaying for the upcoming roleplaying school and sinks into the water, leaving only bubbles*
