He had followed the phoenix's movement with his head, watching. When the other pony spoke, he nodded, willing to do nearly anything to befriend the phoenix. "what should I do?" he asked in an awed whisper.

Aziyah sighed. "Uhm, stop staring at her, and ask her to try something with fire?That might help..She might even be a permanent companion to you if you intrigue her enough," she responded, slightly annoyed, as the phoenix poked its head from behind her shoulder. "Maybe if you pretend not to notice her, she'll come up to you or something."

"How... do you talk to a dream?" He asked, still awed, though he managed to look at the other pony instead of the vision before him. It was clearly an effort.
