Hymn chuckled at the question before looking up from his pie. "I do, but mainly offense except one really.." he said thinking carefully about the abilities he had used with Cada. Siren's Rhapsody was the strongest of all of his skills, but it was also very tiring for him to use. Thinking carefully he looked to Hale and spoke, "Though I don't practice them at all.."

Hale pulled out his own bottle and looked at it carefully, "I wonder what kind of abilities mine will have," he mused, and set it on the table. It was too pretty, he thought, to leave it hidden inside of his kimono. Hale smiled at it and then looked up at Hymn, "You should practice," he said, "You never know what kind of situation will come up when you will need to defend yourself or others," he added. Hale looked at his own hands sadly, "If I had power, I would make sure I was always in top shape..." he muttered, feeling pathetic for not having even physical strength.

Hymn dropped his fork a glare forming on his face. Glaring the other down he shoved his plate forward slowly, and politely before looking the other way out of the windows. How pathetic. Telling him he needed to practice. Hymn shrugged off the other.

Hale froze, his eyes watering up. Never before had he ever made such a mistake, "I-I'm sorry," he muttered, rising from his seat and excusing himself, leaving the bottle on the table. He headed over to the front door and unlocked it skillfully fast and ran out into the woods. That kind of rejection was too much for the young Host and it really hurt quite a bit.

Hale didn't bother taking the path, but instead running off a full bore into the middle of the Whi Forest. Hale wasn't a strong person, but he was really fast, and was gone within mere moments, unaware of the danger the forest posed to a normal human like him.

He could be found quite far away, hiding under some of the giant roots of a fruit bearing tree, sobbing into the sleeves of his kimono. He didn't like Hymn at all now; why did he get mad? Hale had no power and he felt bad for it, but he would never snap at someone like that for encouraging him to try harder.

"You dumb--- son of a -----" Screamed Sojo tossing a plate at Hymn who now stood up against the pillar in the middle of the room. Sojo was furious, never before had Hymn acted this way. Why was he now? Losing any real consciousness Sojo picked up about everything throwing it at the dust, glass shattering and ear splitting screams echoing through the room.

Sojo collapsed after a few minutes sobbing on the floor, three windows, and several other things in the room broken. What had gotten into him? Staring down at his hands he reached up touching his cheek, soaked with tears. Where was Hale? Sojo couldn't go out there, not alone. Looking up Sojo froze, where was Hymn?

He turned just in enough time to see the dust rushing out of the front doors. "Hymn! NO!" he cried, but the dust didn't turn around.

Shaking slightly Hymn bounded off the steps of the front porch. The air rang with the howling calls of the night, the moon stood high in the sky, full. A single tear slid down his cheek as he realized his mistake. Breaking through he entered the forest, off in the direction he had seen Hale go. Why had he done such a thing, it wasn't like him too? Maybe, he was jealous..?

Hymn searched for the other man but with no prevail he found himself stuck in an opening somewhere in the forest. The opening was small and little light broke through, but exhausted. The moonlight that did though, created long shadows from anything that moved. Hymn kept turning in circles looking for signs as he began to hear scurrying. Than it began.

The beast was fast but with a slight movement of his mouth Hymn caused the animal to stop and fall to the ground. "Siren's Rhapsody!" he yelled, his voice instantly echoing through every part of the forest as the enchanting song began.

"I look for one, who passes through
Who glows like silver in the moon
His soft pale skin, shines no brighter
Than that of the evening fire

I search, I search
For the one who loves
A man so dear
To even shed blood

I look, I look
For Hale"

The song continued to repeat as he sung it, Hymn's voice enchanted any listener. The forest than became still as the wind blew in one direction. The air shifted, leading Hymn down a path. The forest was obeying, but for how long. He kept up the howling song till he reached a small thicket of trees that grew slightly apart from the rest. "Manora Whites," he whispered, describing the trees. He had seem them before, the simple tree's that turned white with the winter snow. Seeming to glow in the moonlight.

Was hale beneath the Manora White tree's? If so, he was in a dangerous place. These tree's held home to many of creatures. Many unfriendly creatures. "Hale," he called at a normal level, any louder and he would wake up someone.

Hale sat with his face burried into his knees, crying softly now. He didn't know why he was so sensitive towards Hymn, and now he was thinking that he would be unfit to ge a guardian of a Dust if his turned out to be like that. He was powerless, so what would happen if his Dust turned out to be bad? Would it try to control him, kill him eventually? He knew nothing about these beings, that's why he had come to visit today; it wasn't specifically to see Sojo, he wanted to meet Hymn and get to know another Dust before his gre to a child, but now he was afraid.

Hale froze, there was a small scuffling around him in the small cave beneath the tree and he looked up, only to find it was pitch black where he was. How the hell did he get there if he couldn't see? He didn't know, and now he was more frightened. But what was that? He head a voice somewhere, "S-sojo, is that you?" he queaked a little as his voice broke from crying, somthing he couldn't ever recall doing. "S-sojo, there's s-something else here..." he whispered as the scraping noise came closer.

Hale let out a scream as the roots around him suddenly reached out, revealing that they were imps, and started clawing ansd dragging him deeper into the caves, tearing his clothes and skin and yanking on his fine hair, some of them even biting him.

Hymn stirred at the scream his feel shuffling through the leaves. "Reveal" he sang, and the wind twisted again pushing him towards a hole. Hymn took a couple of deep breaths and started walking in. His eyes adjusted perfectly to the darkness and he easily saw everything. The undersides of the trees were caverns mainly built by whatever lived down here.

As he crept further his body tingled at the feeling of something around him. Slowly turning he saw an imp. Before the imp could leap though his hands shot up and his eyes closed. "Protect!" he yelled his voice filling the cavern. In a slight glow a small barrier formed around him for a second from his voice. It caused a few imps to stumble backwards and run off, but he kept pressing forward.

As he crept into a bigger cavern he felt several things staring at him, but looking around he aimed in finding Hale, which he did up against a wall. Conscious, but seeming a bit lose. The imps came at him soon after he entered, in every way they tried but Hymn crawled over to Hale and began saying 'protect' over and over. Soon though he realized that wasn't the answer.

He began to sing again, controlling the imps with a small tune. Once he finished the song he dived after Hale closing his ears to the tune, so that he wouldn't be under its effect. They just now needed to get out. Looking around Hymn felt a couple of scratches and bite marks on him from a few failed protects, but all in all. He was in better shape.

Hale sat terrified against the cavern wall, trembling ans hugging himself aginast the clawing and biting imps that were dragging him off, surely to be their next meal. He hadn't known that there was anythign of a dangerous nature in these woods at all. He heard a voice, but he knew it wasn't Sojo's, and was very surprised to suddenly find Hymn's hand over his ears to block out the sound of his song.

"H-h-hymn," Hale choked, losing his voice finally, tears of fear and pain streaming down his cheeks. He was very certain that the Dust hated him, so why had he come? "I-I'm s-sorry," he managed to mutter, apologising for telling him that practice was important.

He looked around wildly, his dark olive eyes filled with fear, unable to see a thing in the blackness that surrounded them.

Hymn looked back at the other and smiled "Please, don't be. It was my fault. I've just never been told that.." he said struggling to keep the spell under terms. Hymn sang a song once more and in an instant they were back in Sojo's house. Sojo stood beside them looking oddly at them both. Hymn himself though fell to the floor of the loft upstairs from exhaustion. Thankfully Sojo can teleport.

Hale blinked and looked up at Sojo, kneeling infront of him. "I'm sorry," he muttered, haning his head and hiding his face with his hands so Sojo wouldn't have to see his pathetic look. He felt terrible for causing lots of trouble and causing Hymn to faint; he was so useless and a trouble maker.

He sobbed into his hands, curling up more, now feeling bad for bleeding on the floor from his wounds. "I'm so sorry," he cried again.

Sojo simply moved Hymn to his room healing him the same as he did hale when he returned. Lowering his face after he healed Hale he kissed him lovingly on the lips. "No need to be sorry, everything is fine...we can go on living. We all make mistakes, but we continue to live." Sojo laid the other on the bed and crawled over him kissing him once more. "We just live.."

Hale clung to Sojo's shirt and sobbed more, feeling safe with the stronger man hovering over him like that. "Is your Dust alright?" he said after a while, hiccoughing slightly into Sojo's chest, "I hope he didn't get hurt."

"Hymn's a very gentle soul, it isn't often that he snaps out of his nonchalant mood, though lately its been happening more and more."he whispered silencing Hale's sobs with a long kiss. The kiss lasted a while, causing Sojo to close his eyes. The air around them loosened as the time ticked on. Than the sound, a slight click filled the air. Sojo didn't end the kiss but recognized it, time had frozen for everything outside of the house.

"Nnh-hh!" Hale's hiccoughing as stiffled by Sojo's kiss, and he heard the timestop take effect over the residence. He relaxed, knowing that everything bad suddenly could no longer come after him, and his eyes closed slowly. though he fought it for a few minutes, soon Hale was sleeping peacefully under Sojo.

Sojo smiled once Hale had fallen asleep, and too laid beside him, hugging him. Everyone in the house needed a long rest. They would have it too, as the time freeze lasted for nine hours before finally unfreezing around the house, the clock still showed 11 at night. The night had just begun.
