Inge's mouth formed a small 'o' as Hale explained what his job involved. It sounded like easy money, being paid to date people, but still... He supposed it could become unpleasant if you didn't like your client or if they were ugly or something. He decided not to comment on it but instead focused on finding his home... He was pretty sure on the pier now.
"Number 7! Yes, there's my boat." He exclaimed, leaving the man's support and walking in a rather wobbly line towards the boat moored at the end of the pier.
He checked the name on the side and when he found it to be correct he turned back to wave at Hale. "Thank you Hale! I will remember your kindness! Be sure to come around at some point." He shouted over the crashing of the waves, their white arches breaking on the pier's foundations - whipped into a frenzy by the coming storm.

Hale watched worriedly as the boy found his boat, and remained until he watched Inge disappear safely below decks; heaven forbid should he turn and leave and the boy fall into the water and drown.
The rain started to spatter and the thunder finally echoed through Aimes, causing Hale to make a small jump accompanied by a soft cry as he took off running down the piers and back towards his home, making back just in time to slam his front door on a particualrily bad flash and bang.
