"There are lots of us...though I've only met a few, excluding my mother and sisters," He murmured with disinterest. Meeting with other gods and goddesses...it had always been strange. It had only been interesting once and a while, such as the goddess of lightning. But then, he had very limited interests.

"I can tough the clouds," he replied simply, missing the point completely, "And I guess...I can't touch the sky. Hm. I can fly in it."

"Huh..." Xinavane said, tilting her head, "More... lots... lots..." Then her head lolled forward again, "Lots of Gods. Not none. Lots. I can't ignore a lot. I can ignore one or two. I can't ignore a lot."

Though... when she thought about it... it was true. A god like him could touch the clouds... "What does it feel like? Being able to do whatever you want all the time?" She asked, a little curious, "Does anything... I don't know... hold you back?"

Ignore? He couldn't comprehend why he'd want to ignore something. If he really tried he might have been able to; he was easily oblivious to the mortal world, which was almost like ignoring it. But he just couldn't bring himself to relate. It was just something he'd never learned to do. She was very very silly.

"I don't understand," he said, looking at her with slightly furrowed brows. Her question was only confusing. Hold him back? It wasn't a concept he really understood. He had never been "held back" before. So the concept didn't make sense to him. He just...assumed everyone did what they wanted all the time.

Xinavane tilted her head, not really understanding what he didn't understand. She tried to think of how to phrase it, "Not... well, not everyone gets to do what they want to do all the time. Gods do. Mortals don't. Mostly mortals don't because they're afraid of Gods... which is why I told my family not to believe in Gods. So we could do what they wanted."

She groaned and hung her head, "But even though I didn't even believe in Gods I still don't do what I want. So that's not much of an excuse."

"Really?" he asked, not really understanding what she was explaining. He especially didn't understand the bit about being afraid of gods. It didn't occure to him that mortals might be afraid of him and others like him. Fear, though, was another thing he hadn't really experienced, livingly mainly floating through the skies all his life.

"Strange," he commented, having...nothing else to say. He didn't understand it, so he couldn't really discuss it. It didn't sound very interesting either.

"Strange indeed. It's all so stupid." Xinavane agreed, before staring at the water. But another question hit her, and then one after that. For someone who hated Gods... she was certainly interested in them. Which annoyed her a little bit.

"So... you're a God... what do you... like?" She asked, deciding to run with that. What did Gods like? She had never thought about it... mostly because she spent so much time ignoring them.

He frowned a little in thought. He mused over it a bit, trying to think of all the things he "liked". Mortals were always filled with so many questions, that he knew rather well, even if it still baffled him. But at least she was getting to some easier ones...like "can you fly" and such. Those he didn't have to think hard about.

"I like clouds," He answered slowly, "And flying." He answered as if that was it. He didn't realize that was a short list. He didn't know what others liked, since he never asked, so it was beyond him what "normal" was.

"Huh... well, I guess if I could fly, I'd like to do it too." Xinavane said with a simple shrug, "And lions... even God lions I guess... should do what makes them happy." She looked thoughtful, "Can you do me... a really small favor?"

She supposed it wasn't much to ask really. But he was a God so... it was likely that if anyone could do what she wanted... or rather what she needed, he was going to be her man.

Devu stared at her blankly. He had never been asked for a favor before. He wasn't really sure what to think of it...or how to reply. He just stared at her. It wasn't like she had finished what she was asking anyway, right? He blinked. Yeaaaah.

"Could you... point in a direction?" Xinavane asked, sighing a little. This guy was a little wierd. Maybe even wierder than she was. But then... maybe all Gods were this dense? "It doesn't matter which one... but I figure I need to pick a place to go and I don't know where. So if I'm going to get a heading... it might as well come with the blessing of a God, right?"

"Blessing of a god?" He mimicked, blinking again. Well that didn't make any sense. How was pointing in a direction a blessing? But mortals had such strange views on things. Maybe that's just what she thought it was. It didn't really matter. He supposed he could point in some random direction. It wasn't that hard.

"Um...that way...?" he murmured dozily, flicking his tail in a random direction without even looking. Direction was rather irrelavent to him.

"Okie dokie then." Xinavane sighed, "I'll go that way... not that it matters." She grinned a little, leaning down and taking a drink. "I don't even believe in Gods... if I wanted a blessing, I should have asked a travel God... or a path God... or something like that anyway. Why does it matter?" She mumbled.

"But then..." She grinned at him, "I guess nothing we do really matters in the end, now does it? Especially not to a God."

He just gave her a blank stare and looked back at the sky. The conversation was drifting out of his attention. Plus there were a few more clouds in the sky. Though were always far more interesting to him....far closer to what he was used to.

Xinavane followed his gaze upwards a little and sighed, "Mind if I... stay a little longer and watch the clouds with you? Before I go off in that... random direction that you don't seem to care about."

"You can do what you want," he murmured, leaning back in the grass without even looking up, "...can't you?"
