Belle glanced around and caught more mentions of this book from the girl beside her. Again she ignored it and sighed. Suddenly someone took a picture and the flash turned on. Belle got a full blow of the light in her eyes. She gasped and shut her eyes closed. She rubbed at them and only after awhile she opened them again. But things were abit fuzzy for her.

Tsuki turned back to Malcolm and gave a sigh. "Busy, busy, busy tonight Malcolm.. Busy, busy"
Malcolm chuckled slighty and returned the mushroom book to his satchel, "That it is Tsuki, that it is."
Tsuki smiled and glanced around the room, taking note of any newcomers and old faces. A young couple sat in a corner booth, apparently taking pictures of one another, which seemed to disturb the girl who sat by them for whatever reason, no matter. He turned back to Malcolm, suddenly bored with his surroundings. "Still better than Biology.." he chuckled under his breath, finishing off the last of the schnapps.

((I wasn't aware of the siggy or the NPC rule. I'm sorry.))
Amnity continued to chug down the whiskey burning her throat a bit as it trickled down her throat. Taking a handful of peanuts, she completely forgot about the book and quickly popped the food into her mouth. The flash from a camera nearby caught her off guard, and immediately she reached for her gun. But when she realized that it was just a camera flash, she relaxed. Amnity caught Belle's reaction though, so she forced herself to say something. "You alright?"

Belle's head snapped to where the voice had come from. She could see a blurry form, seemed to be the shaped of someone's head. She nodded and lied, "I'm fine. Just caught me off guard." Need to leave before I go blind, she thought as she got up slowly. She made her way around, managing somehow not to hit anything. That is until she came up to Malcolm. She rammed into him and stumbled backwards. "Sorry," she muttered. Idiot, she told herself.

Malcolm shot his arm out to steady the strange girl who just bumped him. "No worries" He said with a kind smile, "You ok?"
Tsuki was unaware of the current going ons, instead, he was focused intently on the fresh glass of scotch the was being placed in front of him.

Amnity watched her as she lied. If Belle could see her, she could tell that she had a look that said 'yeah, okay'. When she examined her she could tell that her eyes were dilated, and that her vision was probably blurry too. Amnity then took another drink from her bottle. Vampire...She had studied their kind before and had a few encounters. Before she could say anything else, Belle got up and bumped into the boy that was reading the mysterious book. She winced, then took another drink of whiskey. This entertained her though, so she sat silently and decided to watch.

Belle closed her eyes then opened them, her vision a bit less blurry. She managed to make out a bit of who it was. She noticed it was guy, one who had mentioned a book the first time. She smiled reassuringly, "Yeah. Just didn't notice you. And no I'm not drunk." As she said the last part she thought of taking it back. It would make more sense if she was drunk. As she thought this she moved again and this time walked into Tsuki. "********," she muttered under breath as she stumbled backwards. Again.

Tsuki moved quickly, standing up a bit in his stool and catching the girl by her shoulders. "Are you all right miss?" He asked kindly, easing her into a chair.
Malcolm suddenly noticed a man that he had been trying to contact about a book, muttering a hasty farewell, he left, eagerly pursuing the prospect of another good read.

Amnity took another swig of her whiskey, wondering if all vampires were a bit clumsy as well. As she turned around to ask for another drink from Hannah, something caught her eye. A shadow. A split second after she had happened to look toward that direction, it disappeared. Immediately, she looked around. The man and the mysterious book was gone, and so was the shadow. Amnity began to wonder. Is that shadow after that boy?... Whether or not she was wrong or right, she didn't care. Leaving the money for the 2 bottles on the counter, she took another swig of her whiskey, keeping her eyes peeled for anything suspicious again.
She casually strolled out of the bar, pulling her black jacket on her to keep the cold away, though cold wasn't the real problem. It was raining, but she didn't seem to mind. No one should notice nor care that she left since she left in a hurry. The cold raindrops pelted down on her and the cold wind passed. She didn't blink or even shivered. Where are you...It couldn't have gone far... She whipped out her revolver, opening up the metal cylinder, making sure that she didn't forget to load her LP rounds again. To people inside the bar, it just looked like she was lighting a cigarette or something. Slamming the hammer back on her black revolver, she casually strode through the dark streets, humming a light tune.

Malcolm strode quickly through the alley, glancing around nervously to make sure he was alone. This new book of his cost him a pretty penny, but it was worth it. He stopped underneath the awning of a nearby shop and produced his newfound treasure from his satchel. The title was in a language he could not understand, but that didn't matter, this was a book, and a very old one at that, that simple fact alone was enough to get him excited. He stopped fawning over the book when he noticed a person exiting the pub, she seemed to be looking for something, or lighting a cigarette, he couldn't tell from this distance. After mulling it over for a few seconds, he decided he would go and say hi, after all, he did hate walking home alone, and she did seem friendly enough. He picked up his pace a little, half jogging in the slowing rain to catch up. "Excuse me miss" He called out, "Can I walk with you for a while?"

Amnity saw the man from the pub approaching, so she quickly hid her revolver under her jacket. The rain was slowing down significantly, which was good. The sun will come out from hiding behind the clouds, which will be a bit discomforting for the creatures of the dark. Maybe they weren't really there...I did have a few drinks... She didn't say anything for a few seconds pertaining to Malcolm's question, as if she were mulling it over, but really she was trying to get herself to say something to the boy. "...Yes..." Really, as long as he didn't make her talk that much then it's alright.
She slowed down her pace for him to catch up. She hated walking slow, but she didn't show it. Amnity decided that it would be easier to keep tabs on him when he's close by. As they walked, she scanned him, making sure he did not carry any weapons. None, not a weapon in sight, the only thing he had with him was that mysterious book. "...That book..." She said monotonously, pointing to the book he was clutching.

Malcolm smiled at the girl, then glanced down at his satchel, the book had come loose a little, and part of the title was showing through the flap. "Oh, you like it?" He said with a small grin, "I just got it, still don't know what the title says though, the text is in some weird language." He shrugged slightly, then pulled the book fully out of the satchel. "I'll figure it out eventually though. The alphabet used looks like English though, that part is easy at least." He examined the cover for a few more seconds, then smiled. "Aha! I understand a little of it now. It seems to be a guide of some kind, but I'm not sure what, it's in Russian."

Amnity looked down at it, squinting a bit as she tried to understand what the strange symbols and letters meant. "I've..." She reached down and lifted it up a bit so she could see the words better. It made no sense to her, because she couldn't read Russian. She knew how to speak it, but not write it. "...Nostalgic..." That's all Amnity said. It did seem a bit familiar, her grandfather studied all different kinds of old languages and writing, he was an archaeologist. Maybe she'd seen him study something in Russian, maybe not, she didn't have a very good memory. "Guide...To what?"

Malcolm stopped for a moment and stroked his chin thoughtfully, "I'm not sure.." He thought for a moment more, then suddenly had a revelation. His hand shot into his satchel and produced a small black book. He hurried to catch up with the girl. "I completely forgot about this!" He said, half smiling, half panting, "I have a Russian translation book, completely useless in Russia unless you're trying to find a book, but it does have all the names of every Russian book imaginable in here, so I should be able to find out what this means."
