Sitting alone, Featherdance thought of things that she had seen in the past. Featherdance had seen Flamingfang and Fogstorm talking before , did she know how much she was annoyed. She didn't want to end up alone. Featherdance thought that she was just being paranoid.

Fogstorm padded back to where Featherdance was waiting. A glow filled him from ears to toes at the sight of his mate. He nuzzled her gently. "Want to go hunting?" he asked her. He was eager after his encounter with Flamingfang to spend time with Featherdance. There were so many she-cats around these days...Why were they bothering him? Surely Flamingfang had something she could--or rather, should--be doing rather than irritating him.

Featherdance purred, "Hunting sounds like a great idea." It would be a great thing to get her mind off the she-cats bothering fogstorm. "Lets go!" Featherdance meowed. A flash of envy hit her like a lightning bolt. She was jealous.

((Hm...I think it's time that Foggy stuck his paw in his mouth xD))
"I don't know what is up with Flamingfang," Fogstorm meowed. "She was all over me for some reason and headed off into the forest. I followed her, and I think she knows that I followed her." It was comforting to confide in Featherdance; Sparrowpelt and Flamewind were fun to confide in, but they didn't quite care about things like this. Sparrowpelt wouldn't understand why Fogstorm didn't like it, and Flamewind would simply give an explanation for why she thought Flamingfang was doing that. "I love talking to you," Fogstorm added brightly.

(Ha ha! now it is time for a melt down)
"What, you followed her!" Featherdance meowed, "Don't you know what she is trying to do!" She was really upset by this, but fogstorms bright and cheery face seemed to make everything better. Guilt welled over her as she thought about what she just said. "I am sorry about that," she mewed, "I just got jealous for a minute." Many emotions fought against each other in her head. Was Featherdance crazy? "You can confide in me." she meowed softly.

((Ah, Foggy...you are so dense!))
Shock, bewilderment, and confusion danced in Fogstorm's head as he took a step backwards in the face of Featherdance's blast of fury, as strange and unexpected as falling into an icy river in the middle of greenleaf. He stared at Featherdance, hurt. "I'm sorry, Featherdance! I wanted to know what she was doing! I can never be sure what she-cats are up to. Besides you, of course," he meowed quickly. "I can understand you." He purred and rubbed his face against her shoulder. "So...what was she trying to do?" he hazarded. He had never had romantic contact with a she-cat before, so he had no idea how much he might be offending Featherdance.

((Poor foggy))
"I know you can understand me." Featherdance mewed softly with an amused purr. "That Flamingfang is probably trying to get you to love her instead of me....." She said those words with doubt. This just made her doubts about her relationship with Fogstorm worse. "We should probably leave now." Featherdance said, forgetting her fears.

(( xd ))
Fogstorm nodded gratefully and began to pad forward. "Where would you like to hunt today?" he asked, glad to be over with her jealousy. Was she always like this? Were all she-cats like this? Perhaps most importantly, can I prevent it? What makes her go all angry? He was a curious tom, always poking his nose into things that ought not to be poked in. His sister had always said that someday something would bite him in the nose, and wouldn't he be sorry!
"So...um..." Fogstorm began. "Feeling better now?" It was as good a start as any...right?

After sitting there for a long minute, alone, she rose. Flamingfang was hit every time that that she was truly alone in this world. A world of fighting and hunting, and sh as utterly alone with nobody to sit and listen...She shook off thses feelings, repressing them with her usual mood, and smirked. Yime to pay Fogstorm back...flamingfang stealthily shot up a trre and leapt from tree to tree, tottering a few times, but continuing anyways. Soon, she could here the meows of cats ahead and stopped, perking her ears.

"Yeah, I am feeling much better now." featherdance mewed. Hoping that the whole Flamingfang incident would just blow over. "Lets go hunt by the cliffs." Maybe they could spot some prey below.

Fogstorm nodded vigorously, glad that Featherdance was no longer feeling jealous. "Yes, let's. There ought to be some prey enjoying the sunlight." Fogstorm led the way, his tail twitching as he shivered. Somewhere deep inside, a voice told him that this wasn't over. Flamingfang wasn't going to let this lie, and that meant that Featherdance would get angry again. Great StarClan, why me? he asked himself.
