i thought you wouldnt need a passport to cross the border til 2010? they changed that?

and you are lucky, seeing those bands. maine has NO good metal shows. just shitty local -core bands

I just found out that my brother and sister are both joining the army, a year after i got out... I do not want them to do it, but the would never listen to me. Are they following my example? don't they know they are going to go to war?!
IDIOTS!

fixed.

EDIT: fixed
*backhands*
make an inflammatory statement like that to a politically active individual, about a war your country is really not involved in, then prepare to back it up.
so, start backing it up.
friggin people
*waits to slaughter your faulty reasoning*
@everyone else- sorry about the weird post, I found out about both of them signing today, and my brother is already done with basic (he hid it from me), freaked me out a bit. The thing is, they are both uninformed and uninterested in politics and government... I think they are both just running from their own s**t and have no idea what they are running into.
*sigh... some people's children*

i will defend victum by saying that violence is ALWAYS unnecessary (though not necessarily unavoidable). so in that limited sense, he was, sort of, correct...

if they are just running from their own s**t, that's too bad, but it's their lives, you cant really prevent them from doing it. and you shouldnt beat yourself up over it.

hope all turns out for the best

I will back it up:

WAR itself is unnecessary. Your country got independence by a peaceful way, compared to mine. You achieved your goal without turning it into a bloodbath. Sure they had some encounters, but you didn't have to kill 1/4 of the whole population, like we did.

Now, Mr. Bush, is a stuck up retard who thinks the US are the world's ultimate super cop. They stick their noses in every damn situation (vietnam, korea, world war I) they even invaded my country when they saw france came intending to conquer us.

Now tell me, a good reason to keep their troops in Iraq.

good reason to KEEP the troops there? if we pull out now the whole thing is going to fall apart, the government still isnt very strong yet.

im not saying we should have invaded, just that now that we're there we should at least ensure that the new government is stable. it's the least we can do after destroying all their s**t
