Chapter 5 -[coffee]
Becca's POV
I felt so energized the next day. I would announce to the lunch table me and Mikeys coupleship. I hopped out of bed in the morning and took my shower, today I would smell like cucumber melon. I put on my favorite skinny jeans, just like Slash's, my nirvana tee, converses and Mikey's jacket. I felt more beautiful then I ever have in my whole life. I jumped in the car happily, not knowing I was in for quite a chat
"I know Rebecca, Gerard told me"
"Know what?"
"About you and Mikey on the bleachers"
"And you care why?"
"Because I don't want you to get pregnant"
"I'm not going to get knocked up Bob!"
"Mistakes can happen and if you get pregnant in high school Mikey is dead!"
"If you're mean to Mikey I'll kill you first!"
And the conversation only got worse from there........
Mikey's POV
I got up groggily, the first thing I saw when I woke up was her. But the mental image does her no justice, she has such beauty that sometimes I can't comprehend it. How did I, Mikey Way, ugly nerd, get Becca, the beautiful little guitarist? I went down to get some coffee the next morning at my usual time and my dad was sitting there, a box in front of him, and two fresh cups of coffee out on both sides of the table. I took the hint and sat down at the table where my cup of coffee was sitting and started drinking.
"Michael, son" in the 50s style stern father voice
"Yeah dad" I said looking at him suspiciously
"Gerard told me"
"Sorry dad, but I'm almost 16"
" I get that, but you don't want to be stupid and get her pregnant" He said pushing the box into my arm
I picked up the box "Jesus Christ man!!!" I said walking fastly to my room akwardly, leaving the box and the coffee.

Chapter 6
Becca’s POV

I decided to act like this little talk didn't happen when Lanny got into the car. "Hey people!" She said happily, giving both of us hugs. "Nice jacket Bec!" She said, getting sidetracked by feeling the leather of the jacket that symbolizes everything that matters to me.
Bob, being the smart a** he is, said, "Yeah Becca, why don't you tell her where you got that jacket."
Damn it; looks like Frank and Ray are going to be the only surprised ones. So as I told Lanny and showed her Snowball, she was "Aw”-ing the whole time.
"So in recent news, Bob and I are announcing our relationship today too," she said smiling.
"Frank and Ray are going to s**t their pants today," I said as we high-fived.

Mikey’s POV

"Hey Mikey, wait up! We'll walk to school together."
Aw s**t! I was trying to avoid Gerard, and he still caught me. I stood there in the doorway, not saying a word. He caught up and we walked together.
"Why aren't you talking to me Mikey?" Gerard asked, puzzled.
"Because you told dad, and now he probably thinks that she's a slut and that I'm only with her to get into her pants! You don't understand; I love her!" I said more angrily than I had intended.
"Dude you don't get it. I like her; it's just you can't get her pregnant, okay?"
"Fine; I see her now, so I've got to go," I told him, walking off to go talk to Becca.

She looked relieved to see me. "Thank Jesus it's you Mikey. Bob hasn't been taking it so well..."
"Yeah, Gerard has been doing some weird stuff. How about we tell each other the details at my place tomorrow?" I asked, very uncomfortable with discussing this in public.
"Is this like a date?" she asked playfully. "Pick me up from my job at four, alright?" She decided to take control.
"Alright then, Bec." She gave me a sweet kiss that left me as happy as could be.

Becca’s POV

It was very nice breaking the news. We decided to do it the old fashioned way. I sat next to him and he had his arm around me, with my head on his shoulder. We sipped from the same can of Coke Zero, from two different straws. Frank and Ray looked confused, so Frank chimed in, "You could rest your head on MY shoulder, its very comfortable." He rubbed his shoulder.
"No; Mikey is a lot more comfortable." I said, sitting on his lap.
"Wow, looks like Mikey’s having the time of his young life!" Frank pointed out.
Sure as s**t, Mikey had a huge grin on his face as he said, "It's not everyday that you have your beautiful girlfriend sitting on your lap." Looks of general happiness were everywhere, except for Frank; he looked devastated. Then it hit me. Did Frank and Jamia break up?

I decided I'd call him. It was six, and Lanny was hanging out with Bob while playing with the animals. I slowly dialed Frank’s number. He picked up on the third ring, which was very unlike him. I sat down ready for a long talk.
"Frankie," I said.
"Becca I need to talk to you," he said in a very Un-frank way.
"Speak away," I said, very concerned, and then he told me about the fight with Jamia. He got mad because she has a male friend, and now he regrets it. So I decided to call Jamia and straighten things out. She sounded like she had been crying
"Becca, Frank got mad at me for hanging too much with Slim Jim." she said half-crying. "Its okay, honey; he says he's really sorry and he needs you. Give him a call?" I said sweetly. And she immediately called him. I'm so nice
