Lucy had an inner debate regarding whether or not to berate the secretary with more questions about the professor, but a yawn told her it was time to call it a night. Her nose crinkled slightly as she lifted her key to her own eye level, examining the shapes, "Yeah, that's normal," She muttered sarcastically before venturing up the staircase to go locate this room that was so 'special'. She couldn't imagine staying in one place like the silly old man had suggested, and the way he talked as seriously bordering serial killer or kidnapper madman in her mind and next in this spin off of a bad horror movie was that Julia girl vanishing with a black and white film type shriek as someone flicked the lights on and off. Or at least that was the way the scenario had gone as she let her tired mind wander. She'd be in a better, and more sensible, mood the next morning.

Layla looked back up at the woman who was questioning. "Well, of course there is. Just look next to the bed in the bedroom of your room. There should be a phone to your liking. Make as many calls as you need." she stated, then turned back to her magazine. She sure did like those magazines. She then turned around and noticed the other woman had already retired to her bedroom.
Meanwhile, within Thorn's lab, he was working with the new items and the potions he had created. He was getting everything perfect for the transformation. He had put on his white lab coat and with everything all sterile and clean, he was ready to really start the experimenting. He mixed the potion together, and then placed the items into, well, old school, but into what seemed to be a cauldron, big enough to fit these items in. He then drizzled the potion all over the two different items, and the wait began.
((Now, once both of you get into your rooms, and sleep, I'll begin the next day posting. And then, BOOM! =]
That post will be done in your journal though. xDD))

Julia nodded slightly and then dragged her way up towards the stairs. But not before sneaking a suspicious look towards the woman who was busying herself with those magazines. It didn't seem that anyone working here were quite...trustworthy to say the least. She quickly snapped out of her musings when she reached the third floor.
Jamming the key into the keyhole, with a little too much force, Julia quickly jumbles around with the knob before entered the bedroom while closing and locking the door behind her. In an instant, she flopped onto the bed and dragged her entire being as close to the phone as possible.
It was a long night for the girl and she had several phones calls that needed to be done before she can get her regular six hours of sleep...
((You can consider this as a going to sleep pose as well xD *is too lazy to type up an endless conversation between Julia and family members* ))

Lucy entered her room, dropping her bag to the floor and not even bothering to find the light. The bed was an easy enough thing to locate in the dark. She flopped down face first into the soft mass of comforter and pillow, attempting to kick off her boots and realizing she actually had to sit up and do it with her own two hands.
It didn't take long before what she could complete of her minimal, nightly routine was finished and she was curling up under blankets, her tired mind wandering through all sort of obscure possibilities of what would await her in the morning until she drifted off into sleep.

"I'm sorry, but I really don't see why you brought me down here with you."
Clutching the paper bag that held the still fresh hibiscus flowers, Lauren gave Emile the purest of annoyed looks.
"Seeing as we don't know who these people are or how they found out who I am, I thought it'd be best to be cautious," she snapped. Emile rolled his eyes and pushed a hand through his hair in annoyance, ruffling it. "Suck it up, alright? I know you're not used to be outside the house for more than five minutes at a time."
"Stow it," Emile said boredly, holding the door open for Lauren with an ironic bow. "I put on my best pants for you."
"After I tried to strangle you with them."
"Yep."
The pair went inside, Emile holding the letter and Lauren the bag. Hmm...now what?

There sat a girl at the front desk across the way from the couple. She sat with her iPod headphones stuffed in her ears, magazine in hand, very unprofessional. She looked up for a moment to see you two walk in. She instantly sat up, set down the magazine, took out her headphones, and stood, very professional at the sight of the two, and said from across the room, "Hello, and welcome to the agency. I suspect you two are looking for Professor Thorn. If you'd like, I can get him for you, just have a seat in the lobby and he'll be right out to greet you."
She looked at the two, smiled, and went through the back door. Before the couple could do anything, she was back again, "He'll be out in a moment. Please, have a seat. Can I get you anything, water? Drinks? Anything? We have a lovely kitchen on the second floor." she said.
With all of that said, before anything else actually happened, a man with white hair and a blue suit came out of the back room to greet them. "Why, hello. You two have come to visit me, yes? You have the items I have asked for? Any and all questions will be answered either now, or in the near future. Can Layla get you anything?" he asked, smiling, repeating the same question the girl had asked earlier.

Emile and Lauren gave each other sidelong looks. This reeked of suspicion.
"We're good," Lauren said cautiously, holding out the bag of flowers. "I...got what you asked for."
Emile hovered at Lauren's elbow, glowering. He had disguised himself so horns and wings were absent and his skin a shade or two above dead gray, but he still looked rather spooky.

With that said, Layla went back to her post, reading her magazine, headphones in ears. Everything was going swell for her. Nothing more to do than look through the magazine over and over again.
Professor Thorn looked at the two. "Well, alright, thank you very much." he said taking the bag. "How, to actually receive your reward, you must stay the night here. I'll have Layla take you up to your room if you'd like. It is a room that you may keep for as long as you would like. Now, I have important business to attend to, so if you would excuse me, I'll be getting to work on getting you the reward I promised. Please, make yourself at home." he said smiling. He wasn't one to stick around for longer than that. He was a busy man afterall. If the couple had any questions, they could always ask.
At that moment, Thorn stood, and began to walk towards his back room, his laboratory. He wondered if the two would ask any questions. Maybe this would be an easy transition for him today. The last two that had come had put up somewhat of a fight trying to get answers. This was a nice change. Maybe he could get the reward, and poof, all would be good.

Looking startled as the professor excused himself, Lauren gave Emile a sharp elbowing to the stomach.
"Okay, what the crap is going on?" she hissed at him out of the corner of her mouth. Emile punched her in the arm, looking annoyed.
"Don't elbow me!"
"Shut up, I'll do whatever I want-"
Emile clamped his hand over Lauren's mouth, looking smug as she gave a muffled cry of protest.
"Look. He's probably just a kook who thinks he's Frankenstein," he said reasonably as Lauren glowered. "Worse case scenario, we've got an undead we need to hit upside the head with lead pipes until it stops moving. In the meantime, let's just abuse the hospitality. Okay?"
Lauren glared a moment longer, then sighed and gave a nod. Emile removed his hand, and Lauren promptly leaned over and bit him.
"OW!"
Lauren chuckled, looking over at Layla.
"So, um....room?"

Professor Thorn stopped a moment, listened to the little minidrama that was going on in his lobby, and kept walking forward with a smile. He snapped at Layla as he walked by, she looked up at him, nodded, and then returned to her duty.
As Lauren stated the question, Layla got up, and walked over to between the elevator and the stairs. "You can either take the stairs or the elevator. I suggest the elevator, it's on the third floor where you'll be going. Second floor is the kitchen, fourth is, as of now, under construction for something bigger, and the fifth floor is a storage floor. Here, you'll need a key." she said, smiling. She waited for any further questions, and she waited for the key to be taken from her.
((Alright, so just make one of these posts them going to sleep. Once that's over, it'll be the next day, and you'll get a door knocking with a little surprise! XD))

Stopping bickering long enough to take the key and offer half-hearted thanks to Layla, Lauren and Emile went upstairs. The door was found easily, and Lauren opened it with some trepidation. She peered slowly inside, scanning for threats.
Suspiciously, there were none to be found.
She was shoved inside by Emile, who was rolling his eyes and shaking his head. She countered with an unrepentant punch to his stomach, and soon the two were fighting, half in play and half in earnest. After about a half hour or so, Lauren had finally pinned Emile and was sitting victorious on his back.
"Uncle?" she asked smugly.
"Uncle," Emile said sourly. "Now get offa me, you freakin' cow. All this tusslin's made me tired."
"You're as old as time itself and you get tired duking it out with a girl half your size."
"Yeah. Now get off, I wanna take a nap."
Lauren laughed and obliged, plopping down on the bed beside him and ignoring Emile's half-serious glower.
"Night, prince charming," she said. Emile whacked her in the face with a pillow and rolled over, ignoring her. In time, they had both dozed off.

Renard wasn't terribly impressed as he came inside, looking around the large room curiously. He'd at least managed to procure a plastic baggy for his rice ball, although that was it. He held it in his hand, a little crumpled and with the nori looking rather sad and limp. Either way, he'd managed to get what the letter called for, and he craned his neck to look around the room a little more before finally coming up towards the large desk where Layla was sitting.
Bending forward, he rested his elbows on the desk itself as he gave her a wide grin, rather disconcerting to be honest. After a few seconds he couldn't help it, and ran his tongue over his pearly whites.
"I got a letter," he said finally, not sure how else to introduce himself.

Layla was startled to see another face at the table. She quickly took her earphones out to listen to this new customer. "Oh! Hello, and welcome to the P.I. Agency. If you would wait here, I will grab the professor now." and with that, she went into the back room behind the counter and closed the door as she walked in.
A few moments later, an older looking man with white hair and a blue suit stepped out. He smiled at Renard as he approached him. "Oh, please, take a seat over here on these comfortable chairs over here. If you would like anything, please ask Layla now, or forever hold your peace." he said with a chuckle. He gallantly cavorted over to the chairs and awaited the new child to follow. Layla also made her way over to the chairs to wait as well.

There was a lazy shrug in terms of if he needed anything, because he didn't think there was really anything that could fall under that sort of thing. He leaned back comfortably once he collapsed in the chair, whole body going almost limp as he made himself comfortable. The baggy with the rice ball was left to sit on his leg, and he braced an elbow against the arm of the chair so that he could support his head comfortably.
"It's not gunna be too long, is it? I gotta go to work soon," he asked finally, not aiming his question at anyone in particular, although he did seem to expect to be answered.

The Professor shook his head. "I'm sorry son, but if you are to receive your reward for the item, than you must stay over night. If your boss has a problem with that, than he can contact me. But you must stay overnight in the room provided. I have given you a room that you may use for sleep and any other necessary things while you are here. You may even live here if you so please." he said with a smile. He waited for the answer, and called Layla to come pick up the bag.
The Professor looked at him with disarray. "May we have the item we've requested?" he said with a smile. Layla walked over and placed her hand out for it as she stood there very nonchalantly. She awaited for the bag to be placed within her hands.
