Its a lock down, not a win.
Kismet + Stasis is also the same case: It doesn't win games by itself, but it locks down the game for the opponent.

lets do some math
Undermine = UUB, 3 converted mana
Counterspell = UU, 2 converted mana
I understand that Undermine has the cost of making the opponent lose three life, but consider that Undermine not only costs 3 converted, but also requires two different color of mana, whereas it's contemporary, the Counterspell, only costs two, and a single color mana.

Tokens...*shiver* Don't get me wrong, I love token summons as much as the next poster but I've been on the reciving end of them a little too many times sweatdrop Ofcourse, death pits of rath can solve that (just as long as you got a pinging permanent or somthing like goblin sharpshooter or ronin cliff rider).

Tokens...*shiver* Don't get me wrong, I love token summons as much as the next poster but I've been on the reciving end of them a little too many times sweatdrop Ofcourse, death pits of rath can solve that (just as long as you got a pinging permanent or somthing like goblin sharpshooter or ronin cliff rider). my fave way to get rid of stupid tokens (i love tokens i jsut dont' like facing them) is the white card Dimensional Breach. it removes everythign for awhile. but the tokens are gone for good. plus it'll slow donw your opponents attacks while you get out yourdefenders and build up a strong counterstrike

I myself have a rat deck.marrow gnawer is the best. To over run your oppent with tokens. Fav card is ink eyes
