"Yes ma'am. And you sir?" he said turning to Elko.
"I will have sweet shrimp and California rolls." he said. Sam took their menus and left to put in their order. Elko looked over to Nina as she drank her milk. "So, do you like to go out?" he asked trying to make conversation.

The man had left to put their orders in and was once again left with Elko alone. Elko's question was to be expected. It came up on every date the Nina had been set up on.
"I do go out quite a bit. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do. Although I do like to stay at home some too." She loved talking about herself but she knew she had to give up the spotlight. "How about yourself? You get out much?"

Elko listened to Nina intently. She has such a lovely voice. When she turned the question to him, he was almost unprepared for it. "I go out with friends. I have never really left this area. I do like to go to the beach, day or night. I like soaking up the sunlight or moonlight." he said to her, giving her a smile.

Nina sat only half listening to him. She didn't care about his answer. Although when Nina heard beach she started to pay attention. She loved the beach. One place she didn't mind getting sand and water on her. "You like the beach? I love the beach!" She made sure to put a large emphasis on the word love.

Elko pulled his cream closer and started to lap it up. He nearly choked when he heard her reply. "When is your favorite time to go?" he said, he might have sounded a little too excited about.

Nina gave a small smirk at Elko as he nearly choked. She hopped down from here seat and walked to Elko's side where an empty chair set. She jumped up in the chair pated Elko on the back a little. "Don't choke. The cream will still be there." She gave a small laugh and flicked the hair out of her face. "As for my favorite time, I like to go on nights when the moon is high and the stars are shining their brightest."

At Nina's touch, Elko recovered and laughed at himself. "Yeah. There will always be more cream." he said. He then looked at her and said, "I love to walk in the moonlight. And play under the stars."

Nina's eye got wide. She thought that this would just be a stupid date that would turn out just like the others. The cat wouldn't be what she liked and the cat would just love her. It always happened but this time it may turn out differently. "Well...if the waiter doesn't hurry up, I know that the beach isn't that far away." She said in a half irritated and half playful tone.

Elko noticed her wide eyes and almost laughed out loud. "Well, we could go fishing. If you would like." he said looking shyly at her. "Make our own sushi."

Nina thought about it for a second and then jumped down from the seat and made her way to the door. She looked back at Elko and gestured to the door. "Well, you coming or not?!"

Elko took some more of the cream then dropped to the floor. He followed Nina to the door. "I guess we are going fishing then." he said with a strong laugh and he followed her.

Nina was already out the door, walking down the street, and on her way to the beach. The stars and the moon was set just the way she liked them. She looked back to Elko and smiled. "You just move to slow!" She said and gave a hardy laugh.

Elko laughed and jogged to catch up with her. "Your really in a hurry aren't you?" he said as he came up next to her. He continued to keep pace.
His eyes traced over her body then stopped on her wings. "Do your wings work? Like can you fly?" he asked feeling like he asked the most retarded question in the world.

"No. Not really in a hurry. It's just fun to run sometimes. Especially running to the beach." She said with a small grin afterwards.
When Elko mentioned her wings she gave them a small twitch. She loved her wings so much. "Well, I can't exactly fly but I can get off the ground a little if I want to." She replied flapping her wings a little so she rose just an inch off the ground.

He watched in amazement as she lifted a few inches from the ground. "That is amazing!" Elko said excitedly.
"Its a nice night to go to the beach. We couldn't have picked a more perfect day." he said looking up at the star-filled sky.
