PART TWO: Kisura gives birth.
Kisura and Kivuli mostly. Owners of the pups can make posts if they want, but they don't have to.

The time had finally come for the pups to arrive. Kisura was lay on her side, breathing steadily. So far, it hadn't been as hard as what she thought it would be, but she guessed that the worst was yet to come.
"I hope everything goes OK." She said softly as she turned to her mate Kivuli. "Everything will be alright won't it?" Of course, Kivuli couldn't know the answer to that question, but she hoped he would just try and reassure her.

Kucha'Kivuli looked slightly panicked. He didn't know what to do but sit there watching her. Hoping that everything would go good. What if they didn't? He couldn't lose her, or any of the puppies. At least he couldn't be able to handle it. He looked to her with wide eyed. He was probably more scared then she was. At least that's how he looked. "I hope" He said in a weak voice. If he was another color then black, he'd look a bit pale. He nuzzled her so she wouldn't have to see his face.

Kisura noted how freaked out Kivuli was, and let out a small chuckle. She would just have to reassure herself then, and try her very best. Just as she was thinking that, she felt a sharp pain. Gasping, she jerk away from Kivuli so that she could look at his face. "They're coming!"
It wasn't long before the first pup entered the world. It was light grey, and it had its mother's swirl markings. Smiling, Kisura quickly moved the puppy closer to her. "It's a little girl."

He wasn't ready to be a father all of a sudden. Or at least now was the time he was starting to get a little panicked. What if they didn't like him? He'd stay with Kisura no matter what, though. He'd never get cold feet, and leave her here with all the puppies. The fact that his love for her was strong, as well as it'd be wrong to just leave a female fending for herself. How many would they have?
When the first one came out, it was so small. The light gray fur almost seemed dark gray as it had yet to be cleaned. He moved closer to the pup as well as Kisura. Leaning down, he gave her a few licks. "She's perfect." was all that he could say. Was that the only one they were having? Or were there more? He looked to Kisura with a smile. "They will all be perfect."
The little gray pup, with white swirls made squeaking noises, that were suppose to be barks. She was hungry, and looking for food, and warmth of her mother. Not noticing her father was close by, for her eyes were shut.

The next one didn't come for a while, so it gave Kisura the chance to clean up the first pup completely and guide it to where it could feed. She smiled widely, so proud of the pup and herself even though it was the first of what could be many.
She gasped as she felt the arrival of the second pup. This one entered the world as easily as the first one had done. It was black with bright pink markings. "Another beautiful little girl."

Two pups so far! both girls, this was getting exciting. He couldn't tell if she was done yet or not. How could he? He watched in awe, and owe as he couldn't really do anything but watch. Hoping that each one came out safe and healthy, was what every parent wanted. He smiled, yet he wanted to cry. He was sweating, and could feel drops of it running down his fur here and there. He kept quiet.

Kisura didn't really have a chance for a breather, as the third pup arrived not long after the second. She quickly and carefully moved the second pup to where it could feed, and also to allow the third pup some space.
"Another girl?" She said with a grin, as this one looked very much like its father. "Look at those lovely markings." She smiled as she looked over to Kivuli.

He had three daughters. One of which looked a lot like Kisura, just his colors. Then one kinda like both of them with both their colors. Then now, one that looked almost like him. He couldn't be happier, yet scared still. He was still worried, but that was all natural. All he could do was sit, watch, and wait. Three beautiful pups, yet it still seemed like there was more coming. He held his breath without even knowing until he let it out. His purple eyes fixed on the first three puppies.

The next one seemed to be a bit more difficult. It became harder for Kisura to push, and she wasn't sure if that was because she was getting tired or because there was a problem. A look of worry crossed her face as she looked down towards her belly, but it soon faded as the fourth pup finally emerged.
She was a perfect little mix of both parents, with a black coat and startling bright pink markings. "Another girl?" Kisura said with a grin. "You're going to be way out-numbered if it carries on like this Kivuli. Then suddenly, she felt another twinge. She didn't even have enough time to move the fourth pup to her tummy to suckle before the fifth one arrived. It was a boy! She smiled at Kivuli, thinking that he would be especially pleased by this, just because most males tended to want at least one son.
When she cleaned the pair off, she let out a gasp. "Kivuli...they're twins!"

He couldn't believe his eyes... Twins! TWINS! one was male... but twins! He never thought in a million years he'd get twins. Though, he himself was a twin. Where he was black, she was gray. And where he was gray, she was black. Though, he hadn't thought of her in so long, it was a little crazy to think about. "Wow..." was all he could say. The worried look upon her face seemed to left his mind as she looked happy.
"One boy is good enough for me." He told her and nuzzled at the side of his mate's face. He bent down and gave each of the puppies a lick on the face before popping back. He was expecting only just five.. "Five's a good number" he said with a smile. He didn't know another was soon to enter the world.

Kisura quickly moved to nudge the twins towards her tummy. She was very tired now, but she felt as though it would all be over soon. She knew she still had something else to do, but somehow she knew that that would be it.
"I think this is it." She gasped between breaths as another pup fought its way into the world. This one seemed to take forever, but she wasn't sure if it really was taking a long time or if it just seemed like it to her.
When the last pup finally emerged, Kisura let out a huge sigh of relief, followed by a small giggle as she realised that the last pup was another girl. It was a lovely white girl, with flowers around her eyes.
After she had moved the final pup to where the rest were, she gazed at them all almost dreamily. "Five girls and one boy." She then smiled lovingly towards Kivuli. "I'm so happy."

That was them? All of them? It was over? So many. More then he could ever imagine would come from this. They were so perfect. Each and everyone of them. Of course he was overly out numbered, him and his son. Though, that didn't seem to bother him at all. He couldn't say much about his son though. He could see small problems here and there when they were a bit older.
"They..... They are so beautiful and perfect." He nuzzled Kisura and smiled down at the little pups that were now his. He was a father. A new adventure was to begin.

Kisura went over each of the pups individually, to check that they were all completely clean and that they were all drinking OK. All of them looked perfect, and all of them seemed very healthy. Once she was satified that the pups were fine, she sighed gently and rested her head on the ground. She was so tired now, as well as being utterly content.
With her head remaining on the ground, she turned it to watch Kivuli. He looked so happy, and she could only imagine what a fantastic father he was going to be. For now though, she needed rest, and so it wasn't long before her eyes slowly closed and she fell asleep.

He nuzzled her as she slowly drifted to sleep. He'd watch over them as she slept and the pups ate. He was too awake to try to sleep. All this excitement made it hard to sleep yet it was also tiring. He looked around the land and then down at the pups and his mate. Then returned to watching the land.
