Tristan KaneThe men eased on her slightly after her plea. They then carried her down to the lower levels of the ship until they reached the brig. There were four cells. Her crew were in one while a few pirates that had been caught earlier that day were in another. She was then thrown into another cell were she would be alone and separated from her crew.
"We will be coming about within a few hours. The captain may choose to feed you or let you starve." A crew member spoke giving hope to the prisoners. Only to make them more disappointed when they realize its falseness. A portion of the crew remained at the brig to watch the captives.
Meanwhile, Tristan was leading the ship west to his original destination. A woman captain? Ha. He chuckled to himself at the thought.

Jessica leaned against the wall of her cell as she looked at her men, she smiled as the capturers moved away and one of her men took off his shirt, he ripped it up and through her the striped of material, she smiled as she grabbed the material and wrapped it around her legs.
She them just sat staring at the wall opposite her silently, she was unable to be leave that she had actually been caught and there was nothing anyone could do, she was going to be hung, but would people really be leave that she was even a pirate.

Tristan KaneAbout an hour later, Tristan left his first-mate in charge of the wheel to check on his captives. He walked down the stares slowly to see the crowded cells. "I must be doing something right." He laughed to himself as the other members of his crew below chuckled.
"And how are you all doing on this truly fine day?" He then walked over to the woman's cell and noticed she had tended to her legs. No matter. She will be dead soon. Either way, her wounds are bad enough that she wouldn't be able to walk for several days at the least, but still -the woman made him curious.
"Why?" He asked plainly and gave no hint to what he was referring to, only the question to the woman, Why?

Jessica did not look away from the wall and refused to even notice she had been talked to, she took a deep breath as closed her eyes as she grit her teeth against the pain in her legs, she refused to allow him to humiliate her even more than he already had. She would at least die with a little honer, she had always known that she would have to die a little like this, but she did think she would have lived a little longer.

Tristan KaneTristan sighed and leaned against the outside of her cell. "Well aren't you just swelling with pride?" His sarcasm struck like lightning. He then called one of his crew over and said something in another language that resembled Latin but was different in one way or another. The man the nshook his head in agreement and went up the stairs.
"You don't have to speak to me then." He remained standing by the cell.
((I have to go. I'll be back tomorrow.))

Jessica looked at him with the great urge to kill him, "What do you want with me?" she asked quickly, she could not be leave that he was still wanting to humiliate her even after capturing her, "What is this not enough for you!?" she screamed suddenly.
She felt herself snap inside, this was so much more than she could take, "It’s not enough to kill my friends, break my legs and send me to death, now you have to talk to me first to satisfy your sick urges!"

Tristan KaneTristan's eyes moved back at the girl as she spoke. A small smile crept on his lips as she snapped. "I've had quite enough of this. I was only curious as to why a woman like yourself would choose such a profession as piracy. " He looked over at the rest of her crew.
"As for your dead, it was your failure as a captain that led them to their deaths. Perhaps you should rethink your life -for if you lived pleasantly as a mild mannered woman who only went to sea to get from one place to the next, none of these men would have suffered. Perhaps.
Or perhaps, it was fate that you were captured by me, the Commander in charge of all pirates' capture." He laughed to himself and leaned more elegantly against the cell wall. The man he had spoke to earlier in the strange language returned and said something undecipherable while handing him an ornate key.

"I am who I am because of my father, he was the most amazing man I have ever met and I am proud to be his daughter," she looked away from him and sighed softly as she grit her teeth gently, her legs had gone numb now but there was pain souring through the rest of her body.
Jessica looked up at him and she glowered at him, "My men would die for me, and then die again without complaint," she looked up at him with a powerful gaze that showed why her men respected her so much, even as a crumpled mess she was still able to hold herself with quite a bit of dignity.

Tristan KaneTristan smiled at her story. "And what became of your amazing father?" He had become more curious of her but still new what the answer to this question would be. For if her father was a pirate, his fate would be of no surprise to him.
The ship jerked slightly and Tristan didn't move. A few of his crew however as well as a few prisoners rocked from one side to the other. Unfortunately for the prisoners, unlike Tristan's crew, they didn't have their legs free to keep their balance and the men stumbled over one another. Tristan just laughed.

A smug smirk played across her face, her father had to be one of the most famous pirates to have ever sailed the seven seas, however most people did not even know that he had ever had a child, "He is still alive, he is still free and sailing, you will never capture him, he is far too clever for that," she watched her men falling over each other and she sighed softly.
"You really are a sick man, laughing at the misfortune of these poor men who cannot help the way they have to live because where they come from there is no work, you would never understand that, you have a good job and you know that you will never be out of work but these poor men have nothing like that!"

Tristan KaneTristan was almost offended by her assumptions. "Don't act like those men didn't have a choice. Of course they did, we all do. Even I had to make a choice." He sighed at his last remark, but his disposition did not become any softer.
"And who are you to assume I will have a job like this for the entirety of my life. I'm sure there are plenty of people with much more glamorous backgrounds than I, who are nearly just as capable as myself." His crew laughed at their captain's words. Nearly.
"I have my job because I am the best. Social class has nothing to do with anything." He recalled his past and how difficult it was to even be considered for Commander when he came from so average a life. He gave a smirk at the presumptuous girl who thought she knew the cruel world so well.

Jessica looked away from him, she was not sure what to say anymore, she let her hand grasp the locket around her neck as she closed her eyes as she felt her head spinning and she took a deep breath, her hands were shaking as she slumped over unconscious once again. A lot of blood had left her body and her lips were tinged a very faint blue colour.
As her men stared at her a few of them started to panic, "Do something!" "look at her!" the voices of her men ran out as they kicked at their cell walls, loyal men who were willing to take any way they were punished if it meant they could save their captain.

Tristan KaneTristan looked up as he heard his first-mate yell. "Coming about!" Tristan stood up straight and brushed off his shoulders.
We've arrived. Tristan payed no mind to her crew members kicking their cell and walked to the stairs leading back to upper levels of the ship. Before ascending he turned back to his captives. "Fortunate for you all, it's slave season, perhaps some of you shall live to see another day." Tristan then went up the stairs and into his quarters were he found several fliers on his desk. One of which had the woman's face on it. Wanted, dead or alive.

After a few moments of being still she moved a little again, she let her eyes open just a little as she looked at her men; she smiled very gently up at them and gave them a small thumbs up. They relaxed a little as they stopped kicking they started to look very nervous, they would all rather be slaves than die but they were worried about what sort of family they would get stuck with.
"Dignity, die with dignity men," she whispered and closed her eyes again, she smiled as she took deep breaths trying her best not to pass out again from the pain or anything else that was working against her.

Tristan KaneAs the ship pulled into the harbor Tristan called for his men in his strange language and the majority of them came to him. A few stayed in the brig and awaited what they new their orders would be. The men then went scrambling about gathering chains and returned to the brig. Tristan followed behind his men and oversaw as they opened the first cage were prisoners were chained at the neck and pulled upstairs together.
Tristan then turned to the girl, "Don't worry. You and your crew will be next, but I did catch these fellows first." The prisoners up on the deck were led off the ship and onto the docks were they were placed side by side and were looked over by the general in charge of slave sales. A few shots could be heard from the dock. "I guess some of them didn't make the cut.
Tristan's first-mate then returned to the brig with a sack of gold. "The general wished me to give you the bounty." Tristan reached up and accepted the sack of gold. In the strange language, once more he called for his crew. They then opened the cell which held the woman's crew and chained them up and pulled them off the boat together.
Tristan then rose his hand and his first-mate opened the girls cell and with the help of another carried her upstairs. She was not taken off the boat. I'll give you the pleasure to watch your crew's fate.
