She took the pouch and pole and clutched them to her. "Thank you for helping me find them!"
She opened the pouch and showed Sei what was inside. It was a mix of pretty stones, some gems and a few copper coins, even one gold coin. "Its my treasure! Isn't it amazing! I found most of it on my own!" Or stole it. Kid was learning how to be a clever little thief.

Hey, the kid was giving her a gift from her special treasures! It might be a piece of volcanic rock or obsidian, she just knew it was a shiny rock. "It was one of the first things I found. So take care of it okay?"
At least Sei didn't say the sarcastic remark to her face. Tani crying would be bad. And she'd be sad. 'Cause she liked Sei and all.
