Arduinna cocked her head to the side again. "What did I say before? I really don't have anything to do in the herd. Everyone is so excited about the babies and I'm almost an adult such as yourself." She sighed. "Well I just want to be your friend or try to help you for starters. I don't know why a pony such as yourself would think you're a waist of time." Arduinna paused for a second. "Oh! I also remember a quote my mom told me from her mother and so forth." She paused again. "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." Arduinna smiled again. "There. Now doesn't that make you feel better?"

He blinked rapidly, that was supposed to make him feel better. Finally the rest of what she said sank in. "y...you want...to be....my friend?" he asked in a whisper, not quite sure he had heard her right.

Arduinna nodded her head. "Yeppers. You heard me right." She looked at him. "That is alright, isn't it? I mean wanting to be your friend and all."

"I...I don't think I've ever had a friend before... not one that stayed with me, anyhow," he whispered, "or maybe I left them," that last part was almost too soft to be heard as he looked down at the grass.

Arduinna looked at him a bit curious. "Oh really? Well in that case we are friends from here on forth. I hope though that one day I can grow into an adult and reach your height." She giggled a bit. "But then again it doesn't matter on size. As long as you use your talents properly then you will be appreciated." She nodded her head.

Arduinna nodded her head. "Yep! Although she always has a way with comforting others. I don't exactly match her 100%, but I at least try to help others like she does." She then smiled. "Mommy said when I turn into an adult, then I can have a pretty necklace that she got from her old master." The light green paint filly smiled at him. "Do you have anything precious to you?"

Arduinna looked up a bit at the sky. "Well she used to be owned by a Hyrulian named Link. He wore green clothing and looked like an elf." She then looked back at him. "He eventually left her to be free and Epona still respects him to this day, but she's happy with her life now." Arduinna giggled. "Just like I'm happy with my life, but I would like friends and since we're friends then I'm happy."

Arduinna looked at him for a second. "Well do you know what a human looks like? That's what he was, except he had pointy ears." She nodded her head. "They aren't ponies at all. They are a completely different species."

"A human?" he asked, his whisper more curious now. What were all these odd creatures? had he known any of them before?

Arduinna nodded her head. "Well a human stands on two feet. Has hair mainly at the top of his head, has fingers and toes instead of hooves, and they tend to wear different type of clothing."

His eyes went wide with awe. "Wow" he whispered, trying to imagine it. His mental image was quite humorous.
