Sacred_Dreams Well, if it was breaking things down to that sort of stuff, I'd choose a military grade sniper rifle. (US Military uses a Barret .50 caliber AT/AP rifle (Anti-tank, anti-personel(sp?)))
AND, it uses a 7.62x51mm NATO for bullets! Fwee! I love it!

Ever considered the R400? It's a 30-06 rifle if I remember right with enough stopping power, since it's bolt action, to put a round clear through Kevlar, that and a concrete wall, but who's counting?

Guns Rock. They make things blow up. You can make them with your hands. My friends and I do that all the time. Swords are cool though.

Tough choice...
I'ma pick guns thought cause I'm actually a decent sniper... And I like the Bor Rifle. It's a badass bullpup sniper rifle. cool
Oh and for a note on the gunblades... The gunblades wouldn't be accurate, and they would lose sharpness quickly. They would have to be made with a European style blade because most Asian blade would be to thin to deal with the recoil and European blades, while a lot thicker to better deal with the recoil, lose sharpness and actually have to be sharpened. Also one side of the blade would have to be devoted to the ejection of the spent cartridges and would have one or two bullets per reload. Overall it would be more efficient to have both a gun for long range and a blade for close range hen a gunblade.

Swords cuz it will not run out not like gun runs out of ammo
sword will be very useful especially in experts like in X-MEN WOLVERINE ORIGINS
blocks the ammo with his cool ninja sword. cool cool cool

swords cause they're the coolest and you have more agility and control. with a bullet, it's just a straight line and it's not always 100% accurate. mrgreen

Leon's sword from Kingdom Hearts, & Final fantasy 8. So, yeah, swords own
