Maggots havent hit fox news for becoming a cult. Joey did not start a religion when he became "The Maggot king". Not to offend you its just that ICP seems like a thing you laugh at and grow out of. Juggalos never really grow up. Fans started the maggot trend. Juggalo is a marketing scheme devised by ICP themselves. Its just rap in makeup. They all originated from the same place( ICP, Kid Rock, and I belive Eminem as well) in a rap group called inner city posse. I do not think all of us should fight over rap in a metal guild?

Noone was arguing about rap...
They were arguing about bands/artists...which is different than arguing over a select genre of music.
I have a hate for IPC thats completely personal, so its nothing about Em or Slipknot... Thats all I'll say to avoid becoming the latter two posts.

I told someone I liked icp,

its the same things with maggots.
just another group of fans,

I love things most people would think are scary, and yet one thing they love, clowns, I find scary. I'm backwards. But! Them looking like clowns probably has nothing to do with it. When you listen to a song on the radio or a cd or an mp3 or whatever, you can't see the people performing it, thus, their appearance has no effect on the way you percieve them. It's the music itself which determines your like or dislike of them. Thus, if you don't like the music, you won't like the performers, regardless of appearance.

I don't hate clowns, I'm just petrified of them.
I honestly tried to like ICP.
I listened to a few songs, and I tried to not hate them.
But it obviously didn't work.
I'm not one of those kinds of people that are like "OMG RAP SUX LOL"; I listen to every type of music, but rock prevails in my case.
I don't mind listening to country, rap, blues, whatever... and pop if it's not extremely freakin' annoying.
So I don't just hate ICP because they're clowns; I hate them because they suck, in my opinion.
Oh, and Zanna I wasn't calling you a bad maggot.
But there are a lot of annoying ones that I wouldn't mind... disappearing.
