As ChuChu connected with Prince's talons, the mouse pokemon unrolled and landed quickly on her feet. After hitting the dirt, the raichu dashed back towards Nyght, preparing in case the paralyzing attack didn't work. Looking back, the pokemon's eyes widened as the Pidgeot's defensive move recovered him from Chu's electricity.
Nyght had been happy about ChuChu's success, but as the bird pokemon recovered, Nyght kicked the dirt in frustration. She was getting tired of all these defensive moves.... Shaking her head, Nyght called out to the equally frustrated ChuChu, "All right Chu, use Thunderpunch again, but this time go for damage! Let's end this!"
ChuChu nodded, once again drawing electricity to her. Rushing back towards the bird pokemon, freshly recovered from paralyzation, and leaped to deliver the punch.

So far, so good. Luna felt that she and Prince just might be able to pull off a comeback against ChuChu. Especially since ChuChu just used Thunder Punch. If this was the Yu-Gi-Oh universe, Luna would have probably said something along the lines of "Now I activate my trap card!" But this was the pokemon world, so the trainer settled for calling out a devious attack plan for Prince. "Mirror Move!"
As ChuChu launched at Prince again, the bird pokemon made no effort to get away. Instead, he focused on creating a fairly thick transparent mirror between ChuChu and himself. The pidgeot gave a taunting glare at ChuChu, practically asking the raichu to hit him.
And she did hit him, but it wasn't a critical hit. Prince flew up at the last minute to avoid a hit to the chest and instead, got nicked on his talons once again. But the most important thing was that ChuChu's attack had touched his transparent mirror. While ChuChu was descending to the ground again, the mirror glowed and coughed up electricity in the shape of a fist right down at ChuChu.
