Cassie gaped in horror as the turrets burst into flames. Her teammates' screams and yells could be heard from the few blocks away that she was. She watched as they dropped to the floor, most likely rolling and flailing on the ground to put out the flames.
The Night Rod slowed to a halt as Cassie watched the flames lick along the steel walls of HQ...her Home. Her heart sunk in fear of losing more that she cared for, the people whom had saved her before and taught her how to fight. She hung her head, her fists clenched into tight fists until her arms shook with the strength she was using. Slowly, she looked up to see the black figure walking towards her, it's face still hidden beneath it's hood. Her instincts about getting out of the darkness into the safety of HQ were gone form her mind. The fire would scare them away, and she loved the taste of revenge.
Cassie cut the engine, dropping the key in her pocket as she kicked out the kick stand and leaned the bike over. Swinging her leg over, she stood, head lowered with the wide brim of her hat hiding her face. Her teeth were clenched, her fists by her side while she waited for this thing to make it's next move. She was confident; all of her senses were on end and with her years of training, she knew she could draw her guns and fire in little more than the blink of an eye.
Bring it, She thought.

Before she even finished her thought, a burst of tranquilizer rounds were flying towards here. He had fired them off and started running towards her. Rockets now getting closer to hitting him as well as her entire HQ.

Cassie opened her eyes and looked up to see the wave of darts coming at her. Though she was confused that they were darts and not bullets, she crouched and rolled behind her motorcycle. She pulled her guns out of their holsters and kept her head down as the darts whizzed past. As the last clinked against the side of the bike, Cassie crouched up on her knees, spinning around and firing her Uzi's simultaneously. She kept her body low, only he top of her head and her hands were exposed, using the motorcycle as a shield.

Right as she got up and started firing, he appeared behind her with the tranq gun pointed right at the back of her neck. The rockets got more frantic in their aiming. He looked on the back of the noticing the mechanical voice distorter was still on it. "Your coming with me.." he said softly.

Cassie froze, feeling the cool tip of the gun on her neck. But she never let go of her guns, but gritted her teeth and spoke in a growl.
"Who the hell are you and what the ******** do you want?" She spat the words out with pure rage.

He looked around as fire's were ragging. "I'm here for you... and only you.. but this isn't my fault.." The gun didn't move from her neck. "..either come awake... or get knocked out.. you choose..." He backed up slowly taking the gun away from her neck but keeping it pointed at her. Trucks with rocket launchers on the back of them started coming of the buildings, it would be evident that he had no part of it.

Cassie slowly turned around, her hands up, but her guns still held. Her face was alight from the fires consuming her Home and her "family". Normal people would have begun to cry, but Cassie converted her sorrow into rage and hate for this being. The ever present staples in her left cheek glittered in the fire light while, as she slowly looked up to this thing, her eyes burned with the same heat as the fires around them.
"What do you want with me? Why kill so many good, innocent people?!" She screamed, her hands shaking as the rage coursed through her body. Cassie held that rage, let it grow hotter and stronger until her very skin burned from the flames threatening to burst through her flesh. She suddenly became very calm and still, dangerously silent as she dazed into the distance. Slowly, a devil's grin curled across her lips as she noticeably tightened her grip on the Uzi's. And then she whispered her famous quote....
"I can see through you."

He cocked his head lightly to the right and pointed the gun away from her before sending rounds flying past her head and into a guy with an AK pointed directly at Cassie. He didn't bother pointing the gun back at her, but he turned his head to her "I'm a Merc..." He said quickly and swiftly.

"Than who sent you after me?" She glared at him, wanting to fill him with lead or at least stand up.
"I'm not going anywhere until I get some God damn answers." she growled, lowering her Uzi's to aim point blank at his chest and head.

James watched around and checked his mag Empty... He thought then dropped his Tranq gun. "No one sent me.. your name came up on our computer, a computer that selects people to be brought into our Franchise. You were selected at random.. and I, being the only one left alive and remaining.. came here to get you.. this is just inconvenient timing.." He slowly grabbed the Beretta from his shoulder holster under the trench coat. "You wanna kill someone.. kill them.." he said referring to the actual people attacking her 'home' "I have nothing to do with that.."

"So I'm supposed to believe that you both are separate organizations, but happened attack at the exact same time? I'm not buying it." She lowered her head, on her eyes visible form under the brim of her hat. She kept her eyes on the Beretta that he had pulled from a shoulder holster hidden under his coat.

He nodded "But why would I be using tranquilizer rounds only at you instead of live ammunition on everyone and you?.." He took the Beretta fully out and held it by his side.

"You're a mercenary. That means you keep to your word no matter what. We kill these ******** and then I'm going to figure exactly what's going on from you." She remained crouched, not taking her eyes off him until she had an accord.

He nodded "It's what I was born into.." He said simply. "I'll help you save as many of your people as possible, but after this... you will be coming with me Cassie.." He slowly walked up and crouched next to her. He wanted to provoke her a little bit more. "Oh.. and don't miss.." He said before taking off running after one of the trucks.

Cassie growled, and rolled her eyes. In a fluid movement she stood and spread her arms to aim at a few men scattered about the side of the trucks.
"I've always liked graffiti." she chuckled deviously to herself as she mounted her motorcycle and let it thunder to life once more. Bullet holes decorated the trucks, with only body parts of the men left. She switched to new magazines and whipped the bike around while holstering her right Uzi. The one in her left hand was aimed at head/neck level as she drove down the line of the trucks, leaving a straight line of bullet holes along with blood and brains.
She made a sharp turn between two trucks and followed suite on that side as the other. Finally, a large group of the came after her, firing their own guns and shouting. Cassie smirked and flicked a switch hidden on the controls panel. With a metallic click, three blades the length of katanas pulled out from the sides of the motorcycle. The men stopped, their eyes wide with fear as she revved the engine and sped into and through them with ease.
