[[I'm not sure myself. I was just wondering what would seem more interesting to go with. What do you think?]]

Albert gave a slight nod to show he acknowledged what Henry said towards meeting him in the office. He briefly noted he came to look about for a moment before speaking again. "If I see him I'll do that." He spoke towards what he said about speaking to their secretary. He wasn't too sure what he was up to but he would be sure to let him know either way if he came to see him. Hearing what Henry said last caused Albert to look towards their new professor himself. He understood what he was referring to with what he had said last and he certainly hope that boy wouldn't come to do something to do just that. He supposed it did appear as class was to start soon so he directed his attention on the professor for now noting at the same time that Henry had gone back to his seat.

~~~~
Yukishiro certainly wasn't expecting the enthusiasm from one of the students towards his arrival. Then hearing what was said next as well as what came from the other students had him thinking perhaps he would find some enjoyment from his time here or perhaps he was mistaken. He really wasn't going to jump and assume anything just yet. He supposed now it was only appropriate to tell the class his whole name but he certainly wasn't thinking to allow the class to call him by his first name. He wasn't so familiar with the students to allow that. He imagined the last professor here had to have really become friendly with this class. "My name is Yukishiro Noyama." He spoke his name first thinking he should probably write it on the board. He said his first name first and his last name last as he imagined was appropriate here. He did familiarize himself with how they spoke here. He certainly wasn't expecting to be asked so many questions by anyone in particular and it seemed this particular student seemed to really be quite curious. He supposed there was no harm in saying that much asked. "I'm from Tokyo and I really don't think it's appropriate to ask where I live." Really where he lived had nothing to do with the class here. He did live a little ways from campus though but he really wasn't going to verbally mention that. "You may address me in any way you feel more comfortable with besides using my first name." He was far from a first name basis here when had just come to meet his classes for the day. Although this student seemed fairly friendly that wasn't going to get him to change his mind about that much. "Now do you have anymore questions to ask me?" Really, if the student here was going to ask anything more he might s well ask him to tell him a bit about himself which he really wasn't planning to do. s far as he was concerned only matters dealing with class needed to be spoken in class here. He was ready to start up class about now but only once he was sure this student was done with the questions he had to ask.
((Well, he's going to be a professor, so we don't want it to be too difficult for the students to understand him. If he doesn't have too bad of an accent, but still one that the students can hear on occasion, it'll give Matthew something to tease him about but the rest of the students would probably leave him alone [as in, there wouldn't be any questions about what he said in class, giving Matt more time to pester the guy]. I just realized that if you take apart your professor's name to each little root word (ignoring the fact they might have different kanji for the moment) his name becomes, "White snow of the Mountain." XD Or something like that. It could be "Snow white" but white snow makes more sense. I think. XD;; ))
Henry sighed as Matt bombarded the professor with question after question, taking his place next to Jeffory. He smiled at the quieter sibling, finding that he was much easier to deal with on a daily basis than his friend, and then settled into his chair, looking at the professor as he answered the questions. Henry had to smile a little when Matt got repremanded about asking where their new professor would live, and he glanced tentatively over at the louder twin to see what his reaction was. Matt was just grinning quietly to himself; Jeffory had an almost identical look on his face, and for a moment, Henry had a small douse of fear over which twin was which. It only happened once or twice a month, but sometimes he could barely tell the two apart. It probably came from the fact they hardly tried to look like two separate beings, and often were found together anyway. Quickly looking away, Henry pushed his hair back behind his ears and once again watched the professor, fully aware that Jeff had turned to study him now. There was something unnerving about the twins and their identical stares, and so Henry fixed his gaze so diligently on their new teacher that he felt his forehead crease in a frown.
"Ah so... Noyama-sensei it is!" Matt declared, leaning forward with his head in one hand and a grin spreading quickly from his quirked mouth to his glittering eyes. Well, he'd just ignore the fact that he was told it was improper to ask where the professor lived. He'd find out eventually, and then he could start having real fun. "Hmm, any other questions..." Suddenly, he turned to Jeff and asked his identical brother, "I dunno, do you have any questions, Jeff?"
Jeff turned from watching Henry study the professor more fixedly than he really should have been and raised an eyebrow at his brother. "Questions?" His voice was a hint quieter, a tad slower, but had more underlying meaning than anything that Matt said.
"Yup. For Noyama-sensei." Matt wiggled his eyebrows and grinned.
"Indeed I do." Jeff slanted his gaze to their new professor and asked, "Are we getting any homework tonight?"
"What kind of question is that?" His twin made a face and slouched back. "You're not supposed to remind him of homework."
"Well, Matt, you asked if I had any questions, and I'm curious. Besides, I'd like to know because I've got an overload of homework in my other classes and I want to know how to schedule my time... you should be concerned about it too, brother."
"Pah."
[[That sounds like it would be amusing to do. How about we say that's the case then. He'd just sometimes have notable accent. Oh, don't recall being aware of that. I don't recall how I came up with his name. That sounds neat though. I like how that sounds.
Hey, a question. But I don't think we ever talked about what subject the professor here teaches. Did we? If not what should it be?
Ah, if it's not a big problem I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know when you post in this guild. I mean I don't really check here often so I'd really appreciate it.]]
Albert was silent as he simply watched what was going on. Taking in what he heard as well as what he was seeing. He didn't see why that boy Mat behaved the way he did. Asking such questions. A student wasn't to really know anything about the teacher other then the subject taught. He didn't expect the teacher to answer anything but he had answered some things and he would admit he found it amusing that the teacher didn't mention where he live.d That was a question he really didn't expect an answer for. He was still just waiting for class to start as he heard the talking between the teacher and Matt continue. Why did he have to ask so many questions and then hearing the teacher ask if he had any more. He was thinking he would just to keep him talking as it seemed he was doing. But he supposed with what happened next he didn't Hearing the twin he did believe was called Jeff ask a question actually on topic here. It had something to do with class at least. That was something he wouldn't mind knowing himself.
~~~~

Yukishiro didn't mind the name the student here seemed to intend to call him. It was what he was use to so why would he have a problem with it. He really hadn't expected the student here to ask anymore questions. He stood there silent now as he waited to hear if he had anything more to say to him. He briefly noted now that the person the student who spoke to him spoke to looked exactly like them. There was no doubt they had to be twins. He couldn't say he had seen may of those in the past. They looked identical to him and he briefly wondered how people told them apart from one another. Well, he'd try to take note of that if he had to. It didn't really matter as long as the work and lessons were taught to everyone in the class here. That was his reason for being here. That is his current profession was to teach. Not to personally get to know the students here. As he would think the students themselves would know. A thought specifically coming to mind because of the one student that spoke to him. He wondered if he would have anything more to ask but he found the student that looked exactly like him asked a question he could answer instead. "There won't be homework tonight." It was as simple as that. There was nothing more to say and he would assume that the student here had nothing more to ask since he said nothing more. "Now, if that's all I believe we can get this class started." Really, he would think it was about time. He briefly took a moment to look down at his desk to note some books that were there before looking back up. He did believe he had everything to start his first day here so he felt prepared at least. Though he didn't know what to expect from the student here.

“Is that all, brother?” Jeffery looked at Matt and raised an eyebrow. He would have liked to start the class since it was starting slowly already, but he knew that Matt usually tried to keep things going for as long as he could.
Matt caught the raised eyebrow and grinned amusedly. Is that all? No way. Leaning forward on his hand, the boy asked the professor. “What do you plan on teaching us today?” The question seemed innocent enough, but it would lead into another question, and then another, as usual. He took note that the professor didn’t seem too irritated just yet, but he didn’t seem very interested in the ‘question/answer’ period that most new teachers went through at the beginning of their first class. “Personally, I think this class should be used so we can get used to you as our professor- and to do that, we need to get to know you better. How about 20 questions?” There was some agreement throughout the auditorium-like classroom and Matt smiled to himself when he heard another student speak up.
“I agree! I think we should learn something about you professor.” It was a girl with blond hair and pretty blue eyes, which she used to dazzle most guys and now batted them coyly at the professor, hoping that Matt’s plan would allow for some flirtation time.
Next spoke up one of the Rugby players, a big guy with a heart of gold. “I think so too. I want to get to know you, sir, before you start throwing things at us to learn.”
By now, the rest of the class was adding in their agreement, nodding and murmuring amongst themselves. Matt just grinned at the professor, waiting for him to give in and agree to what it seemed the whole class wanted. It would really help if Henry also chipped in, but that probably wouldn’t happen.

Henry sighed to himself as Matt got the entire class going with what he wanted to happen. He rubbed his face a little and then looked up at the professor helplessly. He wanted to help, in fact, he wanted to actually have a class. If this was just going to be a question and answer period with the professor he could be doing stuff for the council. However, he didn’t want to speak up. With all the students for the question and answer period, he would be putting a damper on them if he were to suggest they actually learn something, and if he did that, his popularity would go down and the possibility that he would lose the next run for Student Body President would grow. Giving the professor a bit of an apologetic smile, Henry spoke up, “I think the entire class wants to learn about you, professor. It’s not often that we get professors from another country entirely- let alone one who doesn’t even speak our language. I guess we’ve got a classroom full of curious students…” Normally, curiosity about the subject would be better, but hopefully the professor would take for granted their curiosity now and allow the class just to be fun this one day. After he spoke, there was a cheer through the room and he smiled at the students. Well, as long as he could stay in the school, he’d do what he had to.

((Alright then, a slightly notable accent. ^^ And isn’t it interesting? As for what he teaches… good point. XD The girl in the other RP was teaching English… but it wouldn’t make sense for him to be teaching English to people who already speak English…. how about… a History class? Maybe Ancient History? Medieval?
And sure, I’ll let you know whenever I post here.))

[[I'm not sure what he should teach. I'm leaning towards Medieval. I just want it to be something I'm interested in and don't find a bore as well as something my high school mind has some knowledge on. Not that I don't love the past. What would Ancient History cover exactly?]]

Albert had no comment to add towards what seemed to be going on in the class room. No matter what was going on he would end up having to go along with it. Besides nothing seemed focused on him so he didn't really have to do anything. All he had to was watch and listen. He couldn't help but wonder what the professor was thinking now. Having heard practically everyone go along with this asking questions thing. He needn't voice his opinion on the matter so he certainly didn't. Besides he didn't come to agree or disagree here. It would have made more sense to go with the majority as long as no harm came with it and hearing Henry speak up he had to wonder if he thought something similar or perhaps really was into this as well. He wasn't exactly looking at him to see if he could read anything. But as he thought before it didn't really matter. He was sure he would be just sitting and watching for the rest of the class.

~~~~
Yukishiro wasn't sure what to expect at this point. He was really hoping there would be no more interruptions but he supposed that was hoping for too much as he came to hear what was said by the student who first spoke to him seeing he spoke to someone that was apparently his brother. The first question asked was simple enough. But didn't he see if he let him get started he would see exactly what he was going to teach him. Really, he was thinking it looked like this particular student just wanted to talk. Something he didn't come to stand for if he was trying to do something. He couldn't say he was doing anything just yet though but still. He just hadn't been given the chance to act. He was thinking of stating exactly what he thought as he looked towards the particular student that spoke but then he heard what was said next. Twenty questions? What was this about? Did they usually do this with new teachers. The faintest of frowns edged towards turning his lips down however he managed to keep a pleasant look about his features which meant he didn't frown. He was genuinely amused here if not a bit perturbed as well. He was more so amused at the agreement of some of the other students and he started to wonder if everyone had agreed by now. What was he to do? It seemed he had to go along. He was considering it when he heard the last student speak up to catch the apologetic look as he caught what was said. "Alright then, ask away." He wasn't sure what more he could say right now. The first question ask he still didn't really intend to answer until he was given a chance to teach which didn't look like it would be today. Although honestly he didn't see how getting to know him would hep with anything. He of course could recall being curious about his instructors but he never did anything of the sort like questioning them. If he got to learn about a teacher it was through there teaching methods but obviously things weren't going like that now.
There was a collective cheer from the class again and Matt was the first to come up with a question, "Alright! I've got a question! What made you wanna come here to England?" The question was agreed to be a good question as some students nodded and piped up their own 'yeah's and 'why did you's. Matt leaned back with his arms crossed and waited for the professor to answer. His eyes danced with humor and amusement that he had grabbed ahold of another class. He wondered if he'd be able to do this every class. He also wondered why the teacher had such long hair... it looked as well-cared for as a girls, but it wasn't often that people had long hair. Henry was the only other person he knew who did that willingly... and that was because he was so feminine that he just decided to keep it that way. And... Matt tried to think. He seemed to remember Henry saying something about his mother saying she liked his hair when he was younger... but that wasn't the biggest thing he was interested in right now. He leveled his eyes back on the professor, the light in them dancing as he got ready for an interesting period.
Henry frowned a little as it seemed the class would be taken up by questions, even if he had helped bring that about and he raised his hand and asked, "Sir, may I go do something for a minute? I'll be right back." He did have other things to take care of, and he wondered if the new professor would let him off the hook if he promised to come back.
((Ancient History would cover things such as the Hittites, the Egyptians, Ancient China and Ancient Japan, Greece and Rome and their old empires, as well as the Assyrians and the Spartans and Athenians and so on and so forth.))
[[Ah, ok I got it. That sounds really interesting. I'm still tempted to go with medieval times though I'm liking Ancient History as well. I think I'll go with Ancient History.]]
Albert wasn't thinking to participate in this. He didn't think not to listen though. Though he could say he really didn't care to know more about the teacher. He briefly look about the class wondering how everyone else could agree to this and how it was he had to sit through it. Well, he could answer the last question. Regardless of what happened in this class it was one he was in and he would have to sit through anything that occurred. Since he was here he was wondering what the teacher would say to the question asked. He still didn't care but seeing the subject everyone seemed focused on was this what else was there to think on. Well, other this the duties he had in his position. He wondered if he had forgotten anything now .he was thinking on whether he had anything to do but then he noted Henry had spoken. It seemed he had something to attend to. Whatever it was he didn't doubt he could handle it on his own. He was sure he could handle anything on his own. A thought he found a bit bothersome at the same time he should have been relieved.
~~~~

Yukishiro wondered for a moment what he got himself into. At least nothing personal had been asked. That much was a relief. Well, he supposed it depended how he considered the current question he was asked. He mentally frowned as he considered what he would say keeping his actual facial expression passive. He was still considering what to say when he heard Henry speak. It seemed he wanted to be excused. Well, he was sure he had his reasons and really overall he would have been the last person he expected to cause any trouble. "You may go." He really didn't think to say anything more then that as he looked back towards the class overall but mainly towards Matt who had come to start this. He supposed he had to answer the question now. "The reason I came here was to experience something new." It was the bottom line, minus any personal details that may or may not be involved. Hopefully that would come to be enough here.
PostPosted: Mon Oct 12, 2009 12:35 pm

Matt raised his eyebrow at that and mulled over it as several other students jumped in with questions of their own. He just wanted to experience something new? The man was a diplomat already with his carefully placed answers. The student rubbed his chin and thought about how he might follow his question with something that might break at least a smile or a frown on the new professor's face. He wanted reactions. Several of the questions thrown out at the professor were about Japan, things like, "Where did you live before?" "Was English hard to read?" "Are you married?" "Do you have a girlfriend? Did she come with you?" "Why did you want to teach this course?" Matt sat there quietly listening to the questions and answers, wondering some of these himself, but really waiting for his chance to ask something else.

Henry nodded and excused himself, slipping through the lecture hall and out the second floor doors. When he was there he paused and looked back at Albert, wondering if he should ask him to come as well. After all, he was doing things that had to do with being the class president. Henry sighed and shrugged, leaving the class to their questions. He'd be fine without Albert. He had to prove that he could both handle the sudden onslaught of popularity, responsibility and organization that came with his title. He couldn't go running to Albert whenever he got confused. He'd figure it out on his own.

Albert noted Henry leaving. His gaze briefly looked towards him. Wondering if he really intended to leave by himself. He would hope that...Well, it didn't matter. He saw Henry leaving. Leaving him to sit through this mess of questioning. He was tempted to sigh. Only to keep silent, with a passive look set upon his features. He would just mind what happened here. He would still not join in. He only saw this being pointless. He understood why it was still going on though. The majority of the class wanted it. It was only wise to let it happen. Well, he could see that being why Henry did nothing about it. And he certainly wasn't thinking to speak himself. Not referring to asking. But referring to stopping this. He was curious, to see what the teacher would say.

~~~~
Yukishiro would have been tempted to frown, if he didn't find this overall situation amusing. To think students wanted to know so much about him. They were all very...nosey. Yes. That was the word. He had to wonder if they did this with any other teacher. Oh well, he supposed that didn't matter. Not now. He had said they could ask. He couldn't go changing his mind now. He would answer these questions, without giving too much away. The students didn't need to know everything.
"I use to live in Tokyo." He would imagine some of the students have heard of that place. "And English was as hard to read as any of you learning a new language in school would be." He would let them consider that. Seeing his original language was that of a different one to the one he used now. English. He was use to writing in more then one form. From Hirigana, to Kanji and more. He wasn't thinking to practice that here though. Not unless he had to.
"I am not married, and I do not have a girlfriend." Well, he didn't at the moment. He didn't bother to answer the other question. He figured the answer before that one cancelled it out. The answer should be obvious. "The reason I decided to teach this course, was because I am fond of the subject." Like he would imagine some teachers were, when it came to what they taught.
Jeffery suddenly smiled at himself and raised his hand. "Professor. Twenty questions also allows you to ask us questions." His gaze leveled on his brother in this new twist to the game. "So if you have any questions for us as well you should ask. You are new here, it is the least thing we can do to help." Then he smiled, the picture of perfect innocence, unlike the devilish twist his brother usually had.
Matt was startled that his brother was playing the game as well and paused before thinking about the repercussions of this. Hopefully others got the questions, but he could always turn things to his advantage. It was the game he always won. "That's true, sir. You can ask us anything as well." Then he grinned, the quick expression daring the professor to ask something difficult.
Leaning back, Jeff decided to watch how this might unfold. He wasn't surprised that his brother took this in stride; that was the way his brother was. He was always up for the game, and he always believed he won. The only person Matt had ever lost to was his twin, something that Jeff never rubbed in his face, but also never held back at. Depending on how this turned, he might have another win on his charts.
~
Henry strode down the hall, smiling and nodding at the students who passed him in the hallway. He wasn't entirely sure what he was going to go do, or where to start, but he hoped that he would find something to do when he got there. He really wished that Albert had just gotten up and left after him to do what he usually did... heckle Henry. While Henry had no problems with Albert it seemed that the other was still a little resentful towards his win in the polls. Henry actually respected that Albert had been able to hold his position for so long, and he liked to try to learn from him... but sometimes he felt as if he was overstepping his bounds. Henry sighed. He'd figure it out eventually.
