(( No, no. That's the way of battling; you have to do your best to pulverize your opponent. x3 ))
Bell glared down at the helpless Cubone, which was now laying right next to her. An almost indecently evil expression stole over her face as she saw the iced Cubone. "Revenge," she crooned in a false sugary voice.
Renekai stared at the two pokemon below, unsure what was going on. "Uh... Ice Beam!" she suggested.
To complete the rather spooky image of Bell's nearness, her eyes seemed to glow mysteriously before she slowly, deliberately, bent over Grinch's fallen body and blasted it with a sheet of ice...
Of course, there was a slight chance that, with his protective casing of ice, Grinch would not be hurt by the fresh attack.

Unable to nothing but watch, the Delibird poured another dose of Ice Beam. It caused the ice to solify alot more but the ice continued to melt nonetheless. It seemed that Bell pack quite a punch when angry. Kayla did not want to be on the other end of Bell's anger. Kayla shuddered as shivers ran down her spine, despite of the sweat pouring off of her. No she did not.

((Bell's temper is getting famous. xD))
"Once more!" Renekai called. Though she did not know what the other trainer was thinking, she quite agreed. She did not like being the center of Bell's temper, but she was there often all the same. And that is why she brings warm water wherever she goes; not, as some people may suspect, to make tea, but to thaw herself with after being frozen solid.
Bell's purple eyes flashing with that all-too-familiar glare, she spouted an Ice Beam once more onto the immobile Cubone. It seemed dangerous for the Cubone to escape its icy shell, though; it would certainly throw a rock attack again, and those were painful... It was risky, but Bell was going to try to re-freeze him!

And just when Kayla thought that Grinch would be free of being frozen, Bell threw in another round of Ice Beam, causing Grinch to be frozen even longer.
Kayla gritted her teeth. If Grinch ever get free, they will rain on Bell's parade. That's a big if though. Kayla attempted to wipe the sweat off her forehead with her wrist but more still came.
Again she waited for their moment, hopefully it will be in time.

The corner of Renekai's mouth twitched upward, giving the barest hint of an evil smirk. "Give them a show. Aurora Beam."
Bell stood back, opening her beak and closing her eyes. It was as if she were giving a silent call; suddenly the Aurora Borealis appeared in the gym, dancing in the lights, a mystical rainbow. The colors turned everything light into rainbow. Bell's face literally glowed with color. It was a beautiful and amazing sight... Until the Aurora suddenly compacted to a single, glowing ball. Then it shot down to Grinch, suddenly a terrifying beauty.

Even though Kayla was quite worried about the outcome of this battle, she had to appreicate the start of the Aurora Beam that Bell was preparing. It was something that Kayla would never see if it wasn't in a pokemon's attack.
Kayla wondered if Grinch could see it too, even in his frozen state. Shaking her head, she watched Bell prepare her attack before releasing it. Kayla gripped the railing very tightly, thinking that Grinch couldn't escape such an attack but it seemed that luck was with her this time.
The lava pit was starting to act up and a huge bubble of lava burst, sending small bits of lava and rock into the air. The air pressure of it caused Grinch's frozen form to roll away from the direction of the attack and missed it by millimeters and seconds.
Kayla's slumped a bit in relief. At least they got through one attack. Grinch was slowly starting to melt again. Let's hope they miss again, Thought Kayla.

Bell blinked. Unbelievable! That attack had been executed perfectly! Well, no more messing around. Her eyes glinting red-- was it really just the lava reflected there?-- Bell shot a few Ice Balls at Grinch, clearly angered at the miraculous escape. From now on, attacks would be short and snappy, none of this showing-off nonsense!
Renekai shook her head. Bell's temper had gone awry yet again. There would be no stopping Bell until she had calmed down, and it seemed unlikely that she'd be calm until the end of the match...

Kayla watched Bell as she furiously attack Grinch's frozen form with ice balls. The Delibird is pissed. Kayla would've thought that a cute bird like that would have a sweet temper but she guessed that's not the case here. The ice balls were slowly chipping away at the frozen ice around Grinch's form but doing some damage in the process. Kayla doesn't know how long Grinch could last.
Kayla looked over at the other trainer. She wanted to say something about the Delibird's temper but was afraid of directing Bell's attention at her in anger. She did not want ice balls thrown at her either. So Kayla thought it would be best to leave everything to be said after the battle.
When she looked back at Grinch again, the last of the ice around him started to melt completely and once most of it was off, he started to shake and tremble in a bit. However, the lava's heat warmed him up quickly enough and he gave Bell a murderous glare. Now was his chance for revenge. He won't give any mercy.
Kayla smiled as Grinch returned from frozen time. "You ready to give that flying penguin a piece of our mind?"
Grinch's eyes never left the Delibird but he nodded, "Cu-bone!" So they both watch the Renekai and Bell for their move.

((Ice does 150 damage on Cubones, so you're actually at 350 HP. ^^; ))
"Penguin?!" Bell hissed. Her eyes narrowed to slits. "I'll show you, you thick-skulled DOG!" Bell began to charge up another Ice Beam, the look in her eyes enough to frighten a hungry lion off its prey.
"Bell, don't you think that you should re-freeze him...?" Renekai asked gently.
Bell appeared not to hear. She fired the ice beam, the evil look in her eyes only intensifying in the bright blue glow of her attack.

Grinch's eyes widen in shock at the insult Bell threw at him. Now his determination to win this battle was higher than ever. He bared his teeth in anger and starting bouncing on his toes and banging his bone club onto the ground, to prepare the next command, which was soon to follow.
"Let's finish this Grinch! Ancient Power!"
Grinch raised his bone club into the air. The bone started to glow and a small ball of white energy started to form at the end of it. It grew and grew into almost half the size of his head. Grinch then released it as if he was playing lacrosse straight towards Bell.

"Dodge it, Bell!" Renekai called out desperately. They couldn't let this continue!
Bell flew into the air, but she recieved a bad blow accross her lower back as she made to get away. Bell winced badly, but refused to give Grinch the satisfaction of hearing her cry out. Instead, she turned about in mid-air to face Grinch, her eyes colder than ever.
Renekai hesitated for an instant-- they had to freeze the other pokemon, or they would surely lose. But if they wasted a turn on an unsuccessful Ice Beam... Renekai hoped that Bell's luck would return. "Ice Beam!"

Kayla and Grinch now knew what their opponents were up to now and wasn't going to fall for it again. When the ice beam was released, Grinch jumped out of the way and went down onto the safety net.
When another blast of Ice Beam was shot down at Grinch, which missed again but went into the lava pit. It caused a large eruption of hot magma up pass the safely net, making Grinch scurry away quickly and bury into the side of the pillar that was used as the battle ground.
Grinch started to move around underground of the pillar and waited for the command.
"Now! Use Rock Tomb!"
Suddenly, the ground started to shake and tombstone-like rocks started shooting up from the ground and aimed at Bell, which was followed by Grinch.

Bell was brutally hit and knocked out of the sky once again. She hit her wing on a pillar on the way down and there was a sickening crack when it made contact. Bell fell to the safety net, bounced, and was still. The wing that she had hit was held awkwardly, but did not seem to actually be broken. Bell's eyes were closed.
"Bell!" cried Renekai, gipping the rails so tightly that her hands began to grow numb. This was one of the more violent battles on Bell's end. She was being torn apart! "Bell!" Renekai shouted again, a little softer. Bell had suffered so much damage... Could she even take any more?
"Del..." Bell muttered. She tried to stand up, but staggered and nearly fell again. "Del," she said a little louder. Her eyes gleamed red-- were they really only reflecting the lava below?-- and she shot Ice Beam after Ice Beam to the Cubone above, hatred bubbling inside her, wanting to do as much damage as possible. But she was weak... She could not keep up the stream of Beams and soon stopped, panting heavily, the wing that she had hit hanging uselessly at her side. Bell could hardly stand, but stand she did, and defiantly.
"Bell!" Renekai whispered, horrified. Perhaps Renekai should not have been so hasty in throwing Bell into this battle; it was hurting her so much... But Renekai would make it up to Bell, if the Delibird did not freeze her to death after they left the Pokemon Center.

Grinch was slightly panting from exhuastion from the strain of the attack and battle but not as much as the Delibird. Grinch grinned with satisfation.
Bell gave it her all as she sent another set of Ice Beams but like before, Grinch knew it was coming. He leaped into the air as he dodged the first attack. He then started running around with a gleeful look as more blast followed him.
"Cubone! Cu-cu-cubone!" Back and forward of the battle field, Grinch dodged the attacks.
"That's enough, Grinch! Time to end this madness with Iron Tail!" Kayla had a hard time not smiling at Grinch's actics. She hoped that Bell wasn't going to be too upset with Grinch or herself but it wouldn't hurt to give the delibird some space to chill out, no pun intended.
Grinch no longer ran away from the attack,he did a 180 turn and went straight for Bell as his tail started to glow silver and metalic. When Grinch was in range, he spun around and aimed his tail at Bell.
This is it! Kayla thought. This can finish the battle but if Bell gathered enough strength to dodge it, then it could easily turn around for the worse for them.

Bell saw the tail coming, but was slow to react. Just as she started to lift off into the air, she was hit and knocked over. For a moment, she tried to stand, eyes as cold as ice. But then her lids slid over her angry gaze, and she stopped struggling.
Renekai gave a sad smile, returning Bell to her pokeball. "Good job," Renekai said to the other trainer. "You got us this time." If only Bell hadn't been so weak to rock attacks... But that was alright. Next time, Bell would show them all! This was an important lesson, and Renekai had certainly learned from it.
